00:24food security as access to food is a fundamental human right. Minister of
00:30Agriculture, Land and Fisheries Ravi Rattaram stressed on the importance of
00:35World Food Day. An occasion that reminds us of our shared responsibility to combat
00:42hunger, malnutrition and poverty and ensure that every person has a right to
00:49safe, nutritious and affordable food. World Food Day is observed annually
00:56around the world as it aims to raise awareness about global hunger, nutrition
01:02and sustainable food systems. This year's theme, Hand in Hand for Better Food and
01:08Better Future, highlights the collective action to end hunger, ensure food security
01:14and promote healthier food. The action we take today directly impact on our
01:20future so we must make it a priority to work together hand in hand to find
01:28practical lasting solutions that respond to today's challenges and help achieve a
01:35food secure world for all for today and for tomorrow. Minister Rattaram praised the
01:42World Food Day National Committee of TNT on a job well done in raising public
01:48awareness on food security. Since then, the committee has continued to champion
01:54initiatives that promote education, sustainability and food awareness reaching
02:01grassroots communities, farmers and students at every level of the education
