01:36The government also says it's detected over 1.5 million online posts, many on Facebook,
01:42showing China is spreading disinformation. Officials say content often targets Taiwan's
01:48government, stirs suspicion towards the United States, fuels internal divisions and promotes
01:53pro-China narratives. The report also highlights China's use of AI to try to manipulate Taiwanese
01:59public opinion on topics like U.S.-Taiwan tariff negotiations and energy policy and the mass
02:05recall elections for opposition legislators held earlier this year. As China works to influence
02:12public opinion and society here in Taiwan, tactics that may be less visible than things like military
