Every day this year, over three million Chinese cyberattacks have hit Taiwan government departments, according to a new national security report.

"In addition to gaining intelligence the Chinese Communist Party uses the dark web, online forums and the media to spread fake documents aiming to shake the public’s confidence in the government’s cybersecurity defense,” said Tsai Ming-yen, the Director-General of the National Security Bureau in Taipei.

The Bureau also emphasized deepening intelligence cooperation to curb these growing attacks in their report.
