00:19following the Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi visit to Seoul, which concluded on August 20.
00:27Today, it was the first visit by a Chinese foreign minister to South Korea in five years
00:34and focused on bilateral ties and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
00:41During the meetings, both countries agree to accelerate negotiations on the second phase of their free trade agreement
00:51and expand cooperation in trade, supply chains, technology and people-to-people exchange.
00:59On the regional front, Wang Yi reaffirmed China's support for a political and peaceful solution for the Korean Peninsula issue
01:10and called for a return to dialogue and peaceful coexistence between the two Koreas.
01:17South Korea President Lee Jae-myung, for his part, called for a closer strategic communication with Beijing
