00:34oh you're beauty well i've come across all sorts of things around the world but i've never come

00:54this you're killing this dog with kindness oh you just got me good time's running out here

01:03something's got to change so saddle up what are you doing barking bandits beware if this works

01:12this will change their lives close the door because mr hall

01:20she's proud of you gets every dog oh you'll have answers in a minute oh that's nice every time

01:26no problem testing graham's skills this week a shiba inu with a strict no visitors policy

01:38there ain't a lot of zen going on around here what you got a terrier who is terrorizing his family

01:45harry steals anything and everything hey come back and a little fluffy with a filthy habit

01:52oh has the dog father met his match you scowl at this dog the bottom falls out of his world

01:59so we mustn't make it worse

02:11the dog father's landed in inner city sydney where the lattes are hot and the doggo temperaments

02:17are no different i mean surrey hills today it's an area of sydney that's

02:22kind of well known for nightlife and the arts and i'm on my way to a little japanese inspired shop

02:29where they've got a shiba inu japanese breed who's causing well quite a lot of trouble it seems

02:40entrepreneur tara's japanese inspired store is totally instagrammable and supposedly peaceful

02:49i travel to japan twice a year and import japanese homewares we've worked on creating a really kind

02:55and calm environment her eight-year-old shiba inu pukari serves as an unofficial head of customer

03:01relations she features across everything she's a japanese dog so she's on brand you're so cute you're

03:09so cute aren't you she is like a child to me little baby i've never loved anything so much

03:18it's so hard not to use her as our mascot because she's so cute and people come near and far just to

03:23see her pukari might look like a dream co-worker but the moment a box turns up the zen dissolves

03:32pukari does not like the delivery men she does not like people taking boxes in and out of her space

03:45she'll just fly out the door and she'll latch to that box and she will hang off that box it's like

03:50shocking

03:51this menacing mascot has a particular prejudice against high-vis i don't know what the relation

04:01to a high-vis vest is but that definitely triggers it

04:09my worst fear with pukari is that she's going to bite the wrong person we've all been nipped a lot

04:15of the time we're just in the firing line by accident it's just why we have so many warning signs

04:21around we draw her mood every day pukari is hypersensitive or pukari is unreasonable

04:29it's a way of saying don't touch her you do one we're codependent we don't do anything apart

04:36she's got severe separation anxiety so we actually just can't leave her at home stop bucking

04:41i feel like we all live on edge and it's just gotten worse and worse stop stop this parking

04:50boutique is missing its feng shui hold the incense cue the dog fathers no nonsense shiburinos are

04:58probably the oldest japanese breed in fact a lot of people will tell you that compared to most domestic

05:04dogs they're quite a bit closer to wolves despite their cute appearance they're not a dog that really

05:10wants to please you they're very aloof and aloof is not really what you want for a shop dog

05:21hi hello hello hello pukari you're cute she's cute but she's hello it's a bit naughty yeah she's

05:30rumbling already isn't she hello oh you're not happy are you i can just hear it so she's the welcome

05:38person at the door at your shop that is she yes she is our shop dog so what happens here then you're

05:44sort of taking deliveries sending things out is that right we do both so we have the cafe in here

05:48but we also operate all of our online and things so we've got delivery drivers coming every day picking

05:55things up and dropping them off but curry is not a fan no right you do look like a mother with a baby i've

06:01got to say we have a bit of a a special bond yes which makes me think that maybe when delivery

06:09drivers are coming in and out she's thinking that she's doing a good job right she's getting rid

06:13all right oh okay if we also decide to move boxes around the space she also doesn't like that oh

06:36oh that's funny isn't it so obviously that's incoming so you're sending them out as well so

06:43a lot of people will receive their deliveries with teeth marks in them ha that's not good we

06:48are a design brand and we pride ourselves on things being quite beautiful okay so you've got two problems

06:54haven't you person in high-vis turns up she goes bananas basically yes and then when you get the box

07:00inside then it's a whole not she's trying to eat the box yeah so would you describe her as an anxious dog

07:06yeah very much so right does that make it you anxious 100 sometimes i think maybe we pick up

07:11on each other's energy but when she's having a bit of a moment yelling at her or telling her off

07:17doesn't seem to work i feel like it's making her more aggressive so then to calm her down a lot of

07:22the time i end up just you know swaddling her giving her a cuddle yeah yeah i can see where that's

07:27going yeah curry when she was little used to sit at the front of the store and like have a little bit

07:33of zen but it's just over the years yeah it's not it doesn't really work anymore no she didn't look

07:40very zen like just then with the delivery guy i've got to say how many boxes might be coming in and out

07:46in a day maybe like five yeah so pakari goes for everybody who brings a box to that place every single

07:56time so go figure five deliveries roughly in and out in a day i'm assuming five days of the working

08:02week 52 weeks a year probably has a bit of a holiday times that by eight years because that's how old

08:08she is how many thousands of times is that in eight years i need to do the maths that's 10 000 deliveries

08:15right so 10 000 times she's kind of reinforced with herself this is what you do why does she do it

08:23well she gets rid of people that way doesn't she yes i'm sure she thinks that's what you want you

08:27say she's nervous yes i think you're right you tell me you're a bit nervous as well sometimes so

08:33i think it's significant that you're acting in a nervous way as well yeah i think what's happened

08:37in the past is you've tried telling her off she's already barking she thinks you're joining her

08:42ah yes why would she think any different because you two are like this aren't you so she's like

08:47yeah yeah great mum's got me back she thinks she's doing the right thing so we need to just slow

08:51things down i think so you can all think clearly we need zen light dog training turns out zen starts

08:57at the top sorry tara and it seems to me there's two problems here one is high-vis because she'll react

09:03to just people wearing a high-vis jacket and the boxes themselves i think we tackled the box thing

09:10first this needs fixing and it needs fixing quickly a box at the moment what happens is a box appears

09:18but carry goes bananas you pick her up and give her a cuddle which is kind of rewarding you can do

09:25that when she's being a good girl you do it when she's being naughty we're going to teach her a few

09:31rules right don't bother with the box don't go to bite it if she goes for it we say no the flip side

09:38to it is if she goes because there were moments this morning where she went maybe not those moments we

09:44need to capture and tell her she's a good girl if we can keep this training simple calm but do things

09:50in the moment whether that's good or bad i think we're on a winner okay zen dog training who knew

09:56it's like the sound of it

09:57coming up can our zen sensei graham teach his wisdom to pakari a pomeranian whose love language

10:13is licking you've got this saliva it's quite gross and it's quite disgusting drop it for dad and an

10:21airedale terrier who's fond of stealing more than hearts it's really frustrating because you've got to

10:27try and get it off him we can't find any way that works tara's serene japanese homeware store has one

10:42very furry assistant shiba inu pakari butter wouldn't melt who serves as both customer liaison

10:49and overbearing security

10:56the extra vocational duties are taking their toll on both tara and it seems pakari where's that box

11:03that was delivered this morning the one that she bit that's it there is yes time for graham to take

11:08the role of courier that's right the dog father even does his own stunts i'll take it outside again i'll come

11:16in i'll plonk it down and then across the floor to here okay right and pakari's job is to remain as

11:23tranquil as a japanese water garden

11:30okay no no no no that's it step into us if you walk forwards she'll walk back

11:40no no no no no good deal lovely so a little tip on tone of voice when you did no it was a bit no

11:56i'm not entirely sure i'm doing the right thing no but if you made it more deadpan without being

12:01shouting no it's like the beat of a drum no that's it no wait for it good girl nice work pakari making

12:13sensei proud she's giving up nearly so i'm gonna put this box on the floor let me plonk that down

12:19good and in we go that's it no good girl that's it yay here's a good girl hey this is good she's

12:34coming with you but she's not biting now you can be my little assistant good girl really good girl look at

12:42your little tail wag yes you're good girl pakari's on the way to becoming a zen master

12:49now tara will show cafe manager dylan how it's done so pakari can be one with the universe no matter who

12:56moves those boxes uh-huh no delivery no no good girl i know no perfect simon that was in the moment

13:12was it yeah dylan box for you mate see how you get on with that no no good girl that's it uh-uh no good

13:26girl that's it good clever girl good girl that's it well done oh yeah there you go you've got it

13:36well done perfect until this morning for the last eight years i think pakari has seen boxes are

13:42something to worry about whereas now she's realized that mama's kind of taking control of

13:47the situation in a really nice way can i reward her now of course you can yay you did so good yay

13:55magic i'll see you soon yeah bye graham bye look at that that's cute clear i think we've ticked off the

14:06box problem we've still got to cover this business about people wearing high vis

14:10so uh maybe i need to get myself some high vis for next time oh i love a tall man in fluro

14:20looking forward to seeing that graham

14:22people often fall in love with the look of a dog because they look really cute when you're thinking

14:34about the breed that you should choose don't just go on looks that's really the big pitfall that lots

14:40of people make all the bits where the breeder was saying look they aren't really stubborn or they're

14:44really difficult or they do have a tendency to this the negatives they kind of went ah that won't be my

14:50dog then it came back to bite them sometimes literally

15:01now for another dog who's not short on the cute factor this one lives on the new south wales central

15:07coast so today's dog is a licker which isn't that unusual but sometimes it can become excessive a real

15:15nuisance whether or not a dog should be allowed to lick you is one of those subjects that

15:20divides the room and there was a recent survey done in australia where 32 percent of australian

15:27dog owners said it was okay if their dog kissed them on the lips i wouldn't be in the 32 percent

15:36personally some of us will just take what we can get graham hello kathleen and paul live with

15:44a posse of pomeranians hello we have four dogs and they are all a family the mother is cleo the father's

15:52bodie the daughter is willow and the other son is doyle doyle can't stop licking it's good no no not a good

16:02boy bad boy he's like a lizard the tongue is in and out in and out in and out oh yeah and it's gross

16:09stop it you walk into the front door he's going to be straight onto you you need to basically wear

16:15long pants and long sleeves because any spare part of skinnies is going to go straight for that

16:20no no you can be sitting on the sofa we're just trying to watch tv he's licking your legs he's

16:26licking all around you ah okay same thing when we're lying in bed you'll wake up you'll feel a

16:34tongue go into your ear or you know into your mouth even into your eye this isn't right you've got just

16:42saliva it's quite gross and it's quite disgusting okay i can't do that that was very inappropriate

16:50we don't have a lot of people over because it's like nothing that we can stop that you're not

16:56consent no consent no ah really really mean come on you're just kind of like constantly showing him

17:04away he can't be on the couch he's got to be down i feel guilty he doesn't get the attention that the

17:11other ones do it's sad because you know he's such a good dog and he's got such a good heart he's such a

17:16sweetheart but he's his own worst enemy now pomeranians are an interesting breed because you're

17:25looking at a small fluffy dog that was descended from great big spitz dogs that used to pull carts

17:32and things like that but they were miniaturized to become companion dogs and one of the real

17:38proponents of that was queen victoria she had a lot to do with breeding them smaller and cuter

17:46yeah yeah it's so cute he looks like a little ewok he's just adorable

18:03hello hello oh you're lucky sorry i've been in room uh kathleen yeah yes nice to meet you

18:13can we grab a seat yeah absolutely so for pomeranian blimey i suppose one's never enough

18:21it's mother father and brother and sister and it's only the son who's got the licking problem correct

18:28yes and here comes the tongue tornado himself hello hello dad lick lick oh yeah i see what you mean

18:36he doesn't hang out does he no right on the mouth there we go there we go hello mate we didn't bring

18:44you here for no reason no you're not wrong so he doesn't rest for him is he conversation yeah glad

18:50it's you and not me stop yeah no stop no thank you well so how long would he keep it up for i don't

18:59know it no i don't want to know oh he stopped for the moment he doesn't get picked up as often

19:05as he should their companion dogs pomeranians people quite like him on their laps

19:09yes and you can't we can't yeah the second that you go to pet him or give him any attention if you

19:15give him attention he's licking yeah yeah so who's bottom of the pack in your family of dogs

19:20doyle doyle he goes into instant submission and one of the dogs growl at him he's just oh bless him

19:28why do you think he's doing it it's like he's got so much love yeah he has to get it out in some way

19:34by licking everybody yes he's looking at me now look hello well come on it's not hygienic is it um

19:42goodness knows where his tongue was last and he is a dog and as a result of that he's not getting picked

19:47something he's not giving a cuddle very much because you can't trust him and he doesn't take

19:51no for an answer so why exactly is he so much lickier than the average dog that's the question

20:05pine-sized pomeranian doyle treats his humans like a paddle pop he can't stop licking he's like a

20:12lizard cute as a button with the habits of a wet flannel it's so gross fortunately for all involved

20:21the dog father's diagnosed the drool and he's got the cure there are lots of reasons why dogs

20:27are licking the classic is anxiety he is quite a timid little lad isn't he yeah they do it for

20:33affection you still love me don't you so i think the difficulty is when you're telling him not to do it

20:38and you i think you said stop he's like oh no oh no they don't love me i know i'll lick them right

20:46and it cycles around and around you know but there are moments when he's like oh i'll give up for a

20:51moment sure enough 20 seconds later he'll try again but that's a big gap where we could be telling

20:56him oh good boy you're on the radar because in his world he's only on the radar when he's licking

21:03hmm got that so we need him to understand that when he stops licking oh good boy that's fine okay

21:10well that makes so much sense i think we need a new cue stop wasn't an unreasonable thing to say but

21:16i think you've messed it up now because it's part of the routine maybe we say cool this not shouty not

21:21nasty you scowl at this dog the bottom falls out of his world you know i know bless him so we mustn't

21:27make it worse doyle really needs a lot of reassurance so we've got to get him to understand that mate

21:34people love you it's fine everybody loves you particularly your mom and dad but you don't

21:38have to lick them there is love without licking so the dog father's about to teach doyle that love

21:44doesn't have to be sloppy so when he licks we tell him cool it we pop him down see what he does if he

21:51calms down good boy yeah good boy he's like what good boy for doing nothing yeah graham's recipe for

21:59love is simple licking equals cool it fail to cool it he'll be banished to the floor

22:08this little fool for love just wants to smother dad paul with the licky affection yeah right down

22:15down you go he's blowing it oh but dad but you can't stop ernest devotion oh he just wants to be

22:24loved cool it ah he's messed cool it cool it oh then you know that's it that's it sorry doyle licking

22:34won't win any hearts i learned the hard way i'll go up here i'll go find me dad cool it good

22:42good boy he's like okay wow that's different um how does this new world order work exactly i'm

22:52thinking of licking yeah and then he stopped actually oh good boy cool it cool it oh okay blimey

23:01he did as well oh good boy wow he's like ah the love starts when i stop licking

23:11oh doyle you're so cute when you keep your tongue in your mouth cool it cool it

23:23doyle strayed off the path to true love let's try again there we go

23:41gently gently gently great he's thinking isn't he cool it oh okay good boy doyle's

23:53almost got this problem almost got this problem licked good boy but can he handle a full nose to

23:57nose cuddle without a slip hello look in the air but not you hello are you gonna be a normal dog

24:05hello call it hello call it good hi doyle nothing no look at that that's like a normal dog

24:18graham's not done yet he's got just the thing to keep doyle's heart content and his tongue busy

24:26monsieur doyle i have here a lick mat on this lick mat we have organic yogurt

24:36there is an element of licking that does calm dogs down so it releases those happy hormones if

24:42he wants to lick something he can lick that can't he finally putting his licking skills to use yes he is

24:51i'm really pleasantly surprised how well this has gone he's turned into the dog you kind of always

24:56wanted sat there doing nothing i would venture to say he's pretty happy as well because he's getting

25:00a cuddle now and he rarely got one before because he couldn't be trusted in all honesty i feel a bit

25:06silly that he's been like that for six years when we could have just had graham over sooner thank you

25:12so much yeah lovely well done doyle's really seen the light now he gets everything he ever wanted

25:20love and affection so i guess he's just gone right okay licking is not the way forward anymore i'll do

25:26not lick him brilliant that was great so good all hearts full all faces dry job well done dog father

25:40graham's trading city life for wide open paddocks where a rural rascal awaits his magic touch

25:47okay let's go round here steve and diane lead an idyllic lifestyle with their three-year-old

25:53airdale terrier harry you're my love oh thank you harry is the center of our lives we chose an airdale

26:02because we wanted a dog a bit different with a big personality but this big personality spells trouble

26:11oh he's got a pot come on harry give dad that pop get that come on you're into dad come on that's mum's

26:19pot harry steals anything and everything regardless of the context so he'll attack the shopping when

26:25i'm bringing the shopping in it's all pain in the ass because the shopping is all over the path

26:33and in the garden diane's green fingers get trumped by harry's sticky paws harry steals my gardening

26:41gloves and my gardening clippers harry harry where's my glove if i'm using a hand tool he'll sometimes

26:50come and steal it and wander off with it and i don't know where it is where is it oh he goes into your

26:56pockets and steals tissues he raids ladies handbags and steals spectacles i had a few ladies over and

27:04we were having lunch and then steve said where's harry and what's that noise and it was a friend's

27:12prescription glasses that he was chewing it cost us 700 to replace the glasses who haven't invited her

27:20again what you got sometimes it's funny because he looks at you and says look what i've stolen

27:28sometimes i laugh to be honest and i know you shouldn't do that it's really frustrating because

27:32you've got to try and get it off him and we've tried so many different techniques and we can't

27:37find any way that works harry come on you got it died it's gone too far and it's become a habit with

27:45harry and we don't know how to overcome it to be truthful come on i'll tell graham

27:51harry the airedale terrier has got a nose for trouble and other people's stuff harry steals out

28:04of handbags out of shopping bags harry oh drop it drop it please drop it for dad it's like having a

28:14toddler in the house you've got to leave everything out of his reach this terrier is about to get some

28:20discipline there's a cravatted detective on the case cue the dog father well airdale terriers they

28:26are actually the biggest terrier so you've got to think terrier brain with all the sort of scrappiness

28:33and fieriness that comes with a terrier in a much bigger package and i'm going to fix this in what a

28:39day morning hello i'm graham steven steve yeah yeah thank you nice to meet you yeah nice to meet you

28:46nice to meet you and he's the miscreant harry is he diane spends a lot of time in the garden as you

28:52can see beautiful and here's her work trolley harry is forever in there he's usually seeing gloves

28:59sometimes pot plants so she turns around for it and it's gone and he's over there with it yeah yeah

29:05how many pairs of gloves have you lost that oh countless that's expensive yeah yeah well you'll

29:10steal toilet rolls off the toilet roll holder sometimes and lunches and whatever he can get

29:15so how old is he he was three this month really yeah he didn't get the memo that he's not a puppy

29:20anymore did he no the biggest problem graham is we don't know what we're doing right well that's

29:25obvious we've tried a few techniques okay but he knows we don't know what we're doing okay well that's

29:30what i'm here for let's see if i can help to catch the crook they must first be observed graham's

29:36going in to the garden oh he's got your glove harry come on harry harry give me the glove come on harry

29:47come on come on come on oh that's a good game isn't it come here come on come on come on

29:58what are you going to do i've got your glove um no i'm off oh maybe not there we go funny

30:10there you go oh nearly

30:15okay thank you he's got a sense of humor this dog any it's all fun and games until someone files a

30:23police report or worse so anything else he steals he'll steal stuff indoors he'll go and die sewing

30:29rim he steals my pink cushions and we have to chase him and then we have to corner him and then we have

30:34to open his mouth and yeah yeah it's quite scary yeah so what's your worst fear uh hospitalization

30:43we really worry about that oh of course yeah how long has he done it then always yeah right but he's

30:50getting worse as he gets older it's a very puppy like thing to do but it's getting worse not better

30:56he's a little puppy he's got this tendency to chew things and steal things he does it he's cute what

31:01do you do yeah laugh laugh yeah yeah yeah yeah i think graham's going to tell us that it's our fault

31:11i think we're in trouble i think we're in big trouble as lovely as steve and diane are i think

31:17they have got it spectacularly wrong when it comes to communication their face and everything

31:23about them when they're chasing him around basically says keep it up i mean you might as

31:27well be giving a comedian a round of applause really on top of everything else when harry isn't

31:33stealing something when he's being a good boy and there's plenty of opportunity really

31:37to tell him he's a good boy nobody's telling him that

31:40so before he can deal with harry's pilfering graham's got to teach steve and diane the noble art

31:49of keeping a straight face so what we're gonna do is practice your don't you dare look the face

31:56needs to match the voice don't give me your best don't you dare don't you dare

32:01we don't want him to be scared of you but we do want him to think oh blimey okay mum's spoken

32:08the flip side to that of course the bit you were missing before is good boy when he is right steve

32:14your turn don't you dare oh it was really scary wasn't it yeah we'll save that logy award for someone

32:23else thank you steve to get his mark graham's going undercover with some of harry's favorite

32:30bounties under the covers i've got three items that i reckon he would love to steal we've got him on a

32:37long line we can allow him to approach the thing because we've got a long line we do have control

32:42you can't actually steal them and run off and make a fool of us when he thinks about snatching something

32:47somebody appears goes don't you dare he goes oh blimey you mean it hopefully he backs off

32:52oh good boy and then we reward him even a career crim can change they just need the right incentive

33:01how do we reward this dog well he likes having something in his mouth he likes chewing things

33:06like a lot of terriers so why don't we give him something that he's already told me he likes

33:12an old glove now i know what you're thinking hang on a minute graham if you give him an old glove you're

33:17teaching him that gardening gloves are suitable toys for dogs that's all going to go horribly wrong

33:21except for this dogs are a lot more clever than you think if i've got this right he's quite

33:26capable trust me of learning this old glove i can have brand new ones not for me if i've got this

33:33wrong i'm going to end up with egg on me face aren't i coming up oh there we go he's already a bit

33:42king look at that will harry be able to turn down the temptation of one last job and pakari's about

33:49to face her biggest fear florescent fashion one two three fellas with boxes

33:57harry the airedale terrier is a hopeless thief come on give me those harry's loot of choice

34:11a well-worn pair of gardening gloves oh he's got your glove oh harry to help harry turn back onto the

34:18straight and narrow graham's got the one prize that this pilchering pooch can't resist

34:23if the glove fits i've got a gardening glove right this is your old pair this will sacrifice this you

34:30can have it but not your next pair and any pair after that and anything else no that's a no this

34:36is a yes and dogs aren't daft they'll know the difference harry is allowed to chew the battered

34:41old glove but the real question is what's under the red velvet we have here

34:48what's that harry shopping in a paper bag including some spaghetti oh there we go he's already a bit

35:00keen look at that to start with steve is on theft prevention duty that's it off he goes keep it on

35:07him see what if you rustle something in the bag steve as though you were checking on your shopping

35:13there we go oh here we go here we go quickly don't you dare there you go good boy don't you dare

35:22so if you step into walking towards him don't you dare well done good boy don't harry don't you dare

35:32good boy that's better you're right glove you want that you can have that yeah well done harry

35:42he's a clever boy for being a good boy harry gets his one true glove

35:49for mystery item number two diane's stepping up to be acting officer we have here a

35:56a beautiful handbag with a very expensive discount store pair of sunglasses oh right yeah off you go

36:06oh here he comes oh so tell him don't you dare right don't you dare

36:14good boy he walks off to the other one all right no no no we're not on that one yet but here he comes

36:20now watching well done don't you dare lovely that works good boy he has now that shake off

36:29is significant that's him calming down a bit so he's walked away and gone

36:34this that's away good yeah he's chosen a glove he's come to you and gone yeah but those gloves are mine

36:42aren't they yeah yeah the gloves are off for harry's final job okay let's reveal the last item we have

36:56gardening gloves brand new ones and some pots and some pots this risky ploy relies on harry telling

37:03the difference between the old gloves and the brand new ones so those gardening gloves

37:08mm-mm not allowed out of bounds yeah he's old gardening glove that we're now using as a toy yes

37:13he is quite clever enough to know that no old gardening glove yes but we're gonna have to teach him

37:20steve's retaking the reins one glove at a time

37:24we go i'll pull him in there don't you dare that's it good boy oh watch it well done

37:33that's it for all his hard work harry takes home the big prize of would you like this now yep the

37:47same glove good boy there you go what you got come on he's clever enough to know the difference between

39:10cardboard boxes as long as they don't arrive by courier i don't know what the relation to a high

39:20vis vest is but that definitely triggers it today's all about people in high vis so to start

39:29with what we need is some high vis clothing today we're going to step things up a bit getting a dog

39:37to not react to boxes is one thing boxes don't move on their own they're inanimate people on the other

39:43hand well they're unpredictable they come in all shapes and sizes they react in different ways some of

39:48them love dogs some of them are scared so getting pakari to not react to a person wearing high vis which

39:54does seem to be a big trigger for her that's a tall order

40:04shiba inu pakari is the face of her mum tara's exquisitely zen homeware shop

40:10delivery but when high vis walks in pakari's customer service goes right out the door

40:19graham's returned to teach this boutique bodyguard the art of inner calm to give you a little head

41:01there's nothing wrong with high vis besides the obvious fashion faux pas and wouldn't you know it

41:08pakari's arch rival the humble cardboard box is back for round two but first mum tara will don the fetching

41:24oh is that confusing obviously she barked woof and then she went she looked at you went but it's mum

41:39followed by what's with the high vis it's not as scary anymore is it brilliant all right well that

41:45was easy let's get on with the training then straight out of the center pages of the lowe's

41:52menswear catalog here are our three handsome male models ready to play the part of delivery men

41:59but the party doesn't stop there and as if by magic

42:02ta-da hi-vis cravat he's only gone and done it again hello hello it's me

42:18pakari's holding it together for the dog father but what happens when our fluoro fellas come knocking

42:25we got pakari used to boxes last time we got a used to hive is this time can we combine the two

42:32person wearing ivies with the box i just want one guy to start with if she does rush threatened to

42:40buy all of those things you know what to do round the front of her if need be stand in the way nice

42:46and calm but firm no move her back okay all right here we go victim number one that'll do

42:54no no no no you're not ready to pass it yet it's too soon you're like if i give her a stroke i can

43:08calm her down what's happening is she's howling we're rewarding and i'm rewarding her at this point

43:13there is no threat to this gentleman so we could ignore that and then she will go do you know what

43:19there's nothing doing is that no no that's it and then give her a chance she'll calm down

43:30good girl that's the moment good girl she's like right so i can earn a cuddle you can earn a cuddle

43:37if i'm quiet pakari's getting it time to up the stakes to the maximum setting

43:44with a triple threat of fluoro clad couriers one two three fellas with boxes first one oh yeah

43:58the boys are outside the tension is high but pakari cool look at that does that even deserve a no cooler

44:07than a cup of iced matcha right let's go get the boxes no reaction pakari has realized that whilst

44:13a fluoro vest is a howler of a look it's nothing to bark home about thank you i've been busy online

44:42with deliveries going in and out all the time this training is going to make life an awful lot easier

44:47but let's not forget pakari as well she was reacting the way she was because she was genuinely

44:52bothered by all those comings and goings and i think now all around for tara and pakari life's going to be a

44:58lot calmer in rural new south wales harry's light fingers are finally loosening their grip i'll put one

45:10more here harry's been wonderful since graham was here he actually does what we ask harry don't harry

45:19needed to know his boundaries graham showed us how to do that and it really does work good boy well done

45:28so we're still doing the cool it command and it seems to work i mean he's sitting here he's been a

45:41good boy he's not licking um such a cool it good boy while in sydney shop dog pakari is still a work in progress

45:56no no there definitely has been improvements but it's many years of her being a little bit naughty

46:03so you know it's going to take a lot longer than a few months to train it out of there but we are

46:07getting there you know graham's going to see this he's not being really cranky at you
