00:12And because it feels like Bregman in a lot of ways last year,

00:16where their models can show, well, this isn't the guy to sign,

00:20you're going to overpay for him, and this and that.

00:23But there are certain guys that fit perfectly in a lot of different ways.

00:27And for him, for the Red Sox, he fits in a lot of different ways.

00:31The side of the plate he hits from, what he does, he hits home runs.

00:34He is a guy who is great in the clubhouse.

00:37He's also a guy who is really, really good at one of the most underrated stats

00:42in all of baseball, and that is playing in games.

00:46Yeah, seriously.

00:47I know.

00:48He's played, I think, 162, two straight years.

00:51Only one player in the last four years have played more games

00:55than Pete Alonzo has.

00:56That is something to me.

01:13He is the guy that you pay with money for.

01:16He is the guy you spend on.

01:17I wouldn't have said that last year because we all thought maybe

01:21Casas was going to be the guy.

01:22But for where this organization is at right now,

01:26he is, I just think he's worth spending that aforementioned money.

01:29He fits even better than Bregman because that caused the whole

01:32Devers controversy.

01:33So, it's like it made sense.

01:34We thought he was going to play second base.

01:36Yeah, that's true.

01:37I guess there's a little bit of that.

01:38But as for Bregman, do you think it's a certainty that he opts out?

01:42Everybody says so.

01:43I'm not convinced.

01:44Okay.

01:44Neither am I.

01:45And I think some of the people in the Red Sox aren't convinced either.
