Easy Hawaiian Pineapple Coconut Poke Cake - Delicious Tropical Cake Recipe

00:00today we're making my easy Hawaiian poke cake which is so yummy and the perfect
00:05summertime treat in a large mixing bowl prepare a yellow or French vanilla cake
00:11mix according to the box directions substituting one cup of pineapple juice
00:15drained from your crushed pineapple instead of water use an electric hand
00:21mixer and beat until smooth and creamy next spray a deep dish 9 by 13 pan with
00:29nonstick cooking spray pour your cake batter into the pan and spread out
00:34evenly and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 22 to 26 minutes in a large
00:42bowl combine a one package of vanilla instant pudding mix and one package of
00:47coconut cream pudding mix with 4 cups of milk use an electric hand mixer to beat
00:53together the milk and pudding mix until it starts to slightly thicken but is still
00:57pourable next use the end of a wooden spoon or dial and poke holes in the cake
01:06evenly spaced apart next pour the pudding mixture on top of the warm cake and a
01:15spread evenly making sure the pudding mixture goes into the poked holes next
01:22add scoops of drained pineapple and spread it on top of the pudding mixture I
01:27actually normally add this in with my pudding mixture but I forgot while I was
01:32filming this video so if you forget to you can always just add it on top and
01:37spread it around
01:43next cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator to
01:48chill for a minimum of one hour after your cake has chilled top with a layer of
01:53whipped cream or cool whip and spread it around evenly
02:06if desired you can use the back of a spoon to make a little swirl effect on the
02:10top this just makes it look prettier lastly top your cake with plenty of toasted
