Sussex World reporter Sam Morton gives his thoughts on Brighton's performance at Molineux.
Transcript
00:00Hello, it's Sam Morton, reporter for Sussex World.
00:04I've just watched Brighton draw 1-1 at Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molyneux.
00:08It was a pretty poor performance on the whole from Brighton today.
00:12They rescued a point in the end, but they probably deserved to lose
00:16when you consider the chances that Wolves had.
00:18They had a big chance for 2-0 and they also hit the post as well.
00:23Australian Larson was dangerous and you felt that Wolves were the most likely team
00:28to add to their lead rather than Brighton equalise for a lot of it.
00:31But Jan-Paul Van Heek was the man to rescue the point with the bullet header
00:36from Stevanos Simas-Gross.
00:38It was really a good moment for Albion, something for the fans to cheer.
00:44There will be some concern and disappointment that they performed the way they did today.
00:48There was just a real lack of cutting edge and quality around the pitch.
00:53A lot of silly challenges and tackles being made in the first half
00:57that ended up being in bookings.
01:00Hertzler wasn't too happy with that.
01:02He said it was too quick for the referees to give out yellow cards.
01:06But there will be some home truths as well about how to deal with these kind of games.
01:11It's frustrating that they've dropped points against a team that still haven't won yet this season
01:16and it could have been worse.
01:17So for all of the player ratings and match reaction, see sussexworld.co.uk
01:22will be the best.
