Mass protests have erupted across Italy in response to the unlawful interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla and the reported abduction of its crew members by Israeli military forces. teleSUR

00:06and the abduction of the fleet members by military forces of the Zionist state of Israel.
00:12In Rome, around 10,000 people marched from the Coliseum in support of the Palestinian people
00:18and in protest against the crimes against the flotilla.
00:21In this scenario, USB and CGIL, two of the country's largest trade unions,
00:27called for a nationwide strike on Friday that interrupted train services and port traffic.
00:33Demonstrators marched to the Termini Central train station,
00:37while other rallies took place in Palermo, Trento, Turin and Milan, gathering thousands of people.
00:45Protesters accused the right-wing government of Giorgia Meloni of taking a position that was critical of the flotilla
00:52in which dozens of Italians participated.
