In Italy, thousands of people took to the streets of the capital, Rome, Italy, to condemn the Israeli government's humanitarian blockade of the Gaza Strip. teleSUR

00:02We have new images happening in Italy and Spain across different nations in Europe and

00:07the world as people have come out to protest against the Israeli genocide, against the

00:12ethnic cleansing that is being committed by the Saddam's regime in the Palestinian enclave

00:17of Gaza Strip.

00:19All these processes have been happening for a couple of days now, after the interception

00:25of the Global Smooth Flotilla that was carrying important, valuable humanitarian aid to Gaza

00:30and was intercepted in international waters, yet another crime of the Sionist regime committing

00:38the kidnapping of the activists that were on board the Global Smooth Flotilla heading towards

00:44Gaza transporting important humanitarian aid.

00:48The images we have right now are from Rome in Italy, from the aftermath of a clash that

00:55occurred between peaceful demonstrators in Rome and security forces that were protesting,

01:02as we were saying, against the Sionist group's actions in Palestine.

01:08Now the images we are having right now is from Spain where people are still gathered peacefully

01:14for condemning this genocide that is being perpetrated in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli regime.

01:20As we were saying so far today, there have been over 66,000 people to date has been killed

01:27by Israeli bombings across different civilian areas in Gaza and the wounded are in the 100,000

01:35wounded, over 160,000 wounded have been reported so far.

01:39All this comes in the context, as we were saying, of the humanitarian crisis that is being experienced

01:43in the Gaza Strip after the humanitarian blockade, they blockade by Israel of humanitarian aid to

01:49come from the, from all the international organizations that have tried to send help, have been, have

01:57been blocked, as part is triggering one of the worst famine experiences as they are, so far

02:05there are over 400 people that have died due to famine and malnutrition, among which over 130

02:11are children that have died of famine and malnutrition, I mean, the, as we were saying, the humanitarian

02:17aid blockade being imposed by the Sionist forces on Gaza.

02:23That's why we have seen right now here the streets in Spain, people have come out on, on, in force

02:29to protest, to protest the, the Israeli actions of ethnic cleansing and genocide being committed

02:36against the Palestinians in Gaza.

02:39People will continue to stay there since the, since the blockade, as we were saying, since

02:49only Spain and Italy, but also across different nations in, in Europe and in other continents

02:55to express their support for the Palestinian cause.
