Diddy's circumstances will only improve if he's sentenced to more time ... because he's probably headed for a prison better than his current one, a prominent consultant says.

00:00Diddy is not only famous, he is now notorious.
00:06Is he a target for various forms of violence because of the backdrop of this case?
00:15Absolutely not.
00:16Understand, where he is now is probably the worst he will ever experience.
00:20If he is sentenced to any additional time over and above time served,
00:25he's going to wind up going to a low security facility.
00:27Right now, he's in what's called an administrative security facility that houses the worst of the worst.
00:33I have quite a few clients at the Brooklyn MDC.
00:37I've spoken to the mother of two of his children and was trying to explain to her
00:44where I suggested that he spends a sentence if he does get any time.
00:50So when he does get designated, if he's designated to more time,
00:55it's going to be like going from a red roof into a hill.
01:02And that's the best way to explain.
01:03He will be designated in all likelihood to a low security, not a camp, not minimum security.
01:09Where he goes, there will be a wall.
01:11There will be gun towers.
01:12There will most likely be cells.
01:13There will be a controlled movement, which means he can only move from his dorm to meals or to work 10 minutes before the hour.
01:24And he has 10 minutes to get there.
01:26He will be housed with sex offenders, violent criminals, gang members.
01:31But the Bureau of Prisons does the designation and security, not the judge.
01:36The judge can recommend a place to go, and the BOP typically follows it 70% of the time.
01:44Once he gets to that facility, and he will go there by what's called diesel therapy,
01:48he will sit on a bus with 40 other inmates in double shackled chain, in a jumpsuit.
01:53It is a horrible experience.
01:56Once he gets to that facility, it is not going to be a camp.
01:59It is going to be a real prison with everything that I just described.
02:04However, there's not going to be violence, in my opinion, surrounding him.
02:08I don't think he's going to do anything stupid.
02:10And because of his profile, there's going to be a certain number of other inmates,
02:14based upon the demographics, that will look after him.
02:18They might see a future in his success.
02:21You never know.
02:22And people will look up to high-profile inmates.
02:26You have different types of high-profile inmates.
02:28You have the Combs.
02:29You have the political high-profile inmates that have been my clients.
02:32And then you have those that other inmates stay away from.
02:37Julaine Maxwells, the Chrisleys, the George Santos,
02:41because either they were told to stay away from them,
02:44or they really have nothing of interest to the other inmates.
02:48Combs will fit into the first category.
