00:00Day 2. Asking for Wisdom
00:08There are moments in life when uncertainty feels paralyzing. We stand at a crossroads,
00:15unsure of which path to take, wrestling with fear of making the wrong decision.
00:20In those moments, it's natural to turn to people we trust for advice.
00:24While godly counsel has its place, too often we skip a vital first step.
00:30Going to God
00:31James tells us plainly, if you lack wisdom, ask God. He is not stingy with guidance. He gives
00:39generously and without judgment. That means you don't have to earn his wisdom or be spiritual
00:45enough to qualify for it. All you have to do is ask. But there's a key to receiving it.
00:51When you ask, believe without doubting. Doubt turns us into restless, unstable souls,
00:58tossed about by every new opinion or emotion. God's wisdom is steady, like a compass pointing
01:05true north. It may not always be the easiest path, but it will always be the right one.
01:11God knows the situation better than you do. He knows the ripple effects of every choice.
01:17He knows your heart, your future, and the people connected to your obedience. When you go to him
01:23first, you're inviting the one who sees the end from the beginning to guide your next step.
01:29Reflection
01:30When faced with a decision, who or what do you turn to first, people, your own reasoning, or God?
01:37How might your choices shift if God's wisdom became your first source?
01:42Application
01:42Identify one area where you need clarity today. Before seeking any outside input,
01:49pray and ask God for his wisdom, then wait in faith for his guidance.
01:54Prayer
01:55Heavenly Father, you are the source of all wisdom. Help me to trust your guidance more than my own
02:02understanding. Quiet the noise of my doubts and the opinions of others so I can clearly hear your voice.
02:09Teach me to believe without wavering and to walk confidently in the direction you lead.
02:15In Jesus' name, Amen.
