00:00Minnesota, the Vikings, they're on a European vacation right now.
00:03They're going to take on Cleveland for game two overseas
00:05and maybe come away with a win.
00:07But how about this?
00:08Carson Wentz is the starting quarterback for Minnesota.
00:10Dylan Gabriel expected to start for the Cleveland Browns.
00:14The total of this game, 35 and a half
00:17and a three and a half point favorite for Minnesota.
00:20The spread line, Joe, overseas is what?
00:23Yeah, well, again, we were wondering whether or not this change
00:26was going to take center stage, Donnie, and it has.
00:29So kudos to the Browns for figuring it out.
00:34But to me, this is all about, again, the total.
00:37Keep in mind, Minnesota has been overseas now over the last couple of weeks.
00:42It's going to be a little travel spot.
00:44It's going to be a young quarterback.
00:45It's going to be issues with the offensive line.
00:48This total is low, Donnie, and it is low for a reason.
00:52Keep in mind, the banged up offensive line for Carson Wentz
00:56is also a big issue against that front here.
00:59First half, unders, full game totals, team totals,
01:03all on the table here with this game coming up, Donnie.
01:07How about this one?
01:08You want to get put into the torture chamber?
01:09Sit down and watch the New York Giants and the New Orleans Saints.
01:12Dart versus Rattler opened up as a favorite slightly towards the Giants.
01:16Now swang over to New Orleans as high as minus two and a half at certain outlets.
01:19And a total, Joe, around 41 to 40 and a half, depending on where you're shopping at.
01:23The spread line for Dart and Rattler is what?
01:26Yeah, well, I'll tell you right now, I mean, the public seems to like the Giants a lot here,
01:33but I don't know that we're going to see that come kickoff here.
01:37I mean, the Giants, great.
01:38Jocks and Dart, great.
01:39First road game, not great.
01:42And by the way, the Saints are going to quit on anybody here.
01:46Keep an eye on this.
01:47I do think it's going to rise, and I do think you're going to see a lot more Saints money
01:52before you see Giants money here before kickoff.
01:56Yeah, a little bit different for a quarterback starting at home now going on the road in a tough environment.
02:00Maybe the Saints fans, I guess, will be excited at this point now.
02:03We don't know.
02:04We'll see where that spread gets by the time we get the game time.
02:06But we've got to kick it around the NFL and get to the latest, which includes Lamar Jackson.
02:11How long is he expected to miss, and how long should the Ravens afford him to miss?
02:15Coming up next, Baltimore, the most talented team in the NFL.
02:18Baltimore is going to finally break through the season.
02:21It's Baltimore's time.
02:22Look at Kansas City.
02:23That's a putrid franchise.
02:24They open up the season 0-2.
02:26It's Baltimore's year.
02:27Night number one in the NFL, Sunday night football.
02:29Baltimore is hammering the Buffalo Bills until they weren't.
02:34Now we sit at 1-3 for the Baltimore Ravens.
02:37Now we see Lamar Jackson with a hamstring injury, and he could miss two to three weeks.
02:42The Baltimore Ravens in shambles.
02:45It is a long season, but not long if you open up 1-4, 1-5, 1-6.
02:50I don't think they're going to do that.
02:51But my goodness, have you seen a team more injury rattled to superstar players and key components
02:57than the Ravens are right out of the jump?
02:59All right, 49ers, I'm looking at you two.
03:01What gives you in Baltimore, Joe?
03:03Yeah, well, you know, it's unfortunate across the board.
03:07But I still think that this Ravens team has bigger issues to be concerned with in the
03:14short term because you're not going to lose.
03:15It doesn't sound like you're going to lose Lamar for the entire season.
03:19So there is a shot that as long as you can, you know, in that division, Donnie, we're still
03:25looking at one team is who you've got to basically be better than, and that is the Steelers.
03:30And you and I both know the Steelers are very fortunate to be sitting at 3-1.
03:34There is a reason why Baltimore 24 hours ago was still the odds-on favorite to win the
03:41AFC North here.
03:42So even if you lose Lamar a couple of weeks, you've got to get that defense healthy.
03:48You've got to get those guys on that side of the ball coming together because I think
03:52they can stay afloat until you can get Lamar back.
03:55You've only got one team to worry about.
03:57It's not the Browns or the Bengals.
03:58It's just the Steelers.
04:00What an interesting game, too, because Cooper Rush is going to get the start here.
04:03Houston won last week.
04:04Their defense is very good, but their offense is struggling.
04:06But now everybody's injured for Baltimore.
04:09I'm telling you right now, Joe, I look at that 40-1⁄2 and say, oh, it's got to be way
04:12under.
04:12I don't know about that now.
04:1445-1⁄2 is down to 40-1⁄2.
04:16I now start looking at that and going, Cooper Rush has been around the block.
04:19What, he can't get 15 to 20 points here?
04:21And Houston with that banged up defense and everybody's lighting the world up on that Ravens
04:25defense.
04:25Why can't we get 40 points in that game?
04:27Something to keep an eye out there for a contrarian sort of look.
04:30If we're looking for contrarian action, well, I guess it's not contrarian that Tyreek Hill
04:34is going to be out for the season.
04:36But we're getting a lot of optimism here, which I don't know about.
04:39This isn't a 21-year-old football player, a devastating knee injury that basically blew
04:44the kneecap and also multiple ligaments.
04:47And I was like, eh, surgery, awesome.
04:49Be back for next year.
04:50He might be back for next year.
04:52But the Tyreek Hill we're used to, Joe, electric on the field where nobody can catch him.
04:56People are going to be catching him now, Joe.
04:59Yeah, it's not great.
05:02You know, he's just on that wrong side of 30 there, Donnie, where you're just not going
05:07to heal like you used to heal.
05:09Now, does that mean that he can't get another contract and the team won't give him money
05:14here if he's, let's say, 70% of what he was?
05:17No, it doesn't.
05:18It's the NFL, of course.
05:19They'll squeeze every last drop out of Tyreek Hill they can.
05:22But, you know, Tyreek Hill at 100% with no knee issues is a different player than one
05:29that is going to take a little while to try to get back and then may never be back to
05:34100% Tyreek Hill, which is beatable.
05:38Donnie, let's be reasonable.
05:39He won't be the weapon that he was before the injury.
05:44Tampa Bay Bucs probably down their best weapon at wide receiver.
05:46Mike Evans for at least a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury.
05:49But hey, at least there's Bucky Irvin, electric out of the backfield.
05:51Sensational year last year, and looks like he was on that edge of doing dominant things
05:55again.
05:55But how about this?
05:57Mike Garofalo is reporting here.
05:59Bucky Irving is still gathering medical opinions on what's being termed an ankle and or foot
06:04injury, sources tell me, and rap sheet.
06:06That's not good news for the Seattle Seahawks coming to town.
06:09Maybe they can steal one, but come on now.
06:11What's the deal, Bucky?
06:12We need you down in Tampa.
06:14Yeah, he's a big part of what they're doing.
06:16Uh, and they are, I don't know that they were going to be able to run the ball anyway on
06:21Seattle all that much, but I believe they still have white behind it.
06:25They still have, uh, an ability to be able to run the ball.
06:28He is a big part of that offense, but styles make fights, right?
06:32Donnie.
06:32So this is going to be one of those situations where Baker Mayfield is going to have to out
06:37duel Sam Donalds here.
06:39Cause I don't think Seattle is going to be running the ball that much either in this one.
06:43Yeah.
06:43The play in question, there was the one that he fumbled, which is interesting where his
06:46like wrist hit the ground, but it's still called it a fumble at that point.
06:49It looks like he banged up that foot end or ankle.
06:51If it's a foot sprain, that's terrible.
06:52You're actually hoping it's an ankle sprain at this point.
06:54I'll tell you as another sprain spraining his MTL, it's Braylon Allen, another running
06:58back got twisted up in that Miami game.
07:00Boy, the injuries and the anger, it just keeps piling up for Jets fans right now.
07:04There is no tomorrow as Carl Weathers used to say in Rocky.
07:09Yeah.
07:09And Donnie, it wasn't like he got hurt running the ball as a running back.
07:14It was a kick return that he ended up.
07:17Why is he returning?
07:18Like, what are we doing here?
07:20Jets, what are we doing?
07:22Unbelievable.
07:23Where's Gibson at when you need him?
07:24Yeah.
07:24Where's Gibson at when you need him?
07:25Oh, that's right.
07:26They caught him and he's in Philadelphia at this point right now.
07:27The battle of attrition, Joe Ranieri.
07:29That's what we're going to talk about next.
07:31Thursday night football doesn't help NFL teams, particularly the road team, because like,
07:34wait a second, we just played in 150 car crashes on Sunday.
07:39Now you're telling me on Thursday night football, I got to do 150 more car crashes with my guys.
07:44Yes.
07:44That's what the NFL asked you to do.
07:45That's why you get paid the big bucks.
07:46And we need to sell those Amazon Prime and Netflix accounts on Thursday nights.
07:50So you can make all that money and live in your plush mansions.
07:53So you deal with it here.
07:54San Francisco starting quarterback to be determined.
07:57Brock Purdy hasn't practiced this week.
07:59Brock Purdy came into last week's game against the Jaguars as damaged goods.
08:03He left even more damaged goods.
08:05Could it be Mr. Mack showing up once again at quarterback this weekend?
08:09Matthew Stafford, he's doing just fine.
08:11Multiple touchdown passes late in that fourth quarter.
08:13Gave them the victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
08:16But Joe, we had a look ahead line in this game.
08:18Minus three for the Los Angeles Rams.
08:20Do you know I'm staring at most outlets at six and a half across the board?
08:25The derivative for that is who the heck is playing for San Francisco in this game Thursday night?
08:31Absolutely no idea, Donnie, which is why I would not be trying to put, you know, a square peg in a round hole here.
08:40Look at it in a totally different ballgame like I did.
08:44When this total opened up at 47 and a half, Donnie, it was one of the first bets I made to the under here.
08:52Short week, injuries everywhere across the board.
08:57Much easier to anticipate Shanahan coming up with.
09:00Listen, you've got to be able to run the ball, right?
09:02Whoever the quarterback is going to be, if you're going to be asking them to drop back 30, 40 times against the pass rush of the Rams,
09:08it's going to be a recipe for disaster here.
09:11So I think both these teams are going to be more than happy to try to win this game in the trenches, Donnie.
09:17That's where it's got to be won.
09:18So no matter who's going for the 49ers, I do think this is a game on a short week.
09:24The Rams are good.
09:26I mean, they have been, I think, under McVay, 8-1-1 against the number when playing on four or fewer days rest.
09:33So they have been pretty good here.
09:35But at the same time, I don't know that I'm running to lay a touchdown here with the Rams.
09:40I think the total is the better angle.
09:41The Joker used to say this to Batman, riddle me this, Batman.
09:45I'm going to ask you a question, which I'm not quite adding up right now.
09:48We always talk about sometimes you can get good numbers early in the week or maybe guess on the information,
09:53make an educated guess on what you think is going to happen.
09:55Now, correct me if I'm wrong.
09:57Christian McCaffrey is a really good running back.
09:58We understand that.
09:59You don't have your starting tight end in George Kittle.
10:02Your offensive line has been decent, to say the least, to start the season.
10:04Not all that banged up.
10:06But the wide receiver position is decimated.
10:08We don't know if Pearsall is going to play in this game.
10:10We don't know if Juwan Jennings is going to play in this game.
10:13So 243.5 is the passing prop for Brock Purdy, who's telling you, I can't practice this week.
10:19I'm coming in as damaged goods.
10:20You want me to throw for over 250 yards on a Thursday night on turf against a division rival?
10:25Am I missing that?
10:27How's it 243.5, Joe?
10:30Yeah, that's a great question.
10:31And the only thing I can come up with, Donnie, is that he's going to be playing from behind in this game.
10:36And as he does that, you know what's going to have to happen.
10:38And it's going to be dink and dunk city.
10:40It's going to be screens to McCaffrey all over the place, which seems to be really what their offense has been here with all the injuries to the wide receiving core.
10:51So, yeah, I think if I'm doing anything, I'm probably not looking at Brock Purdy's passing yards.
10:58I'm probably looking at McCaffrey's receiving yards because he's going to get a bulk of those dink and dunks and screens and everything else.
11:06Yeah, I'm just looking at the FanDuel Sportsbook right now, Joe.
11:08Puga Nakua, Devontae Adams, Jordan Whittington, Kyron Williams, and Tutu Atwell listed at wide receiving yards props here.
11:14Nothing for the 49ers, which, again, is funny where we don't know who's at wide out.
11:19Somebody has to play at an NFL level to get close to 250 passing yards.
11:23And we're not talking about Patrick Williams, like, oh, he'll make it happen, he's healthy, and he can run around.
11:27Like, Brock Purdy has a toe injury which limits his ability to move in the pocket against a team that's going to know that and say,
11:34well, wait, it's not like you have Randy Moss in his prime on the other side where we have to give a lot of, you know, cushion and we have to pay attention to.
11:41Who are you paying attention to the pass catchers for the 49ers in this game?
11:44That's the way I look at it.
11:45So, for me, I don't love laying a big number on Thursday night, but you're asking me just simplicity, Joe.
11:50Who's going to win the game?
11:51It's the Rams, and, yes, you're right, the 47 and a half absolutely should be 46 and a half, because two things happen here.
11:56These two teams know each other absolutely like the backhand, like their back of their hand, like, yeah, I can read what's on the playbook.
12:03And number two, everybody's injured at number three, Joe.
12:05It's a short work week on a Thursday.
12:08Correct, yes.
12:09And I think Williams is poised to have a big game for the Rams on the ground here.
12:16I mean, with 13 rushes, 77 yards against the Colts, he had 20 for 94 against the good Eagles defensive front.
12:25And that's why I think there's no reason to think that they won't continue to pound the rock against a mediocre middle of the road, 49ers defense that doesn't have Bosa.
12:33So, yeah, I'm all for looking to back a lot of the props on the Rams side this week.
12:41Yeah, Kyron Williams, minus 210 to score a touchdown.
12:44They don't want you to bat him, which means you should be batting him on Thursday Night Football.
12:48Top of the hour power coming up next.
12:50Let's get to it.
12:51It's a Wednesday hump day.
12:53Some people like to say, everybody's working for the weekend.
12:57And we are.
12:58That's what we do.
12:58Like, people sometimes are listening to us or watching us right now, Joe, like, it's only Wednesday?
13:03But that's what the boys provide.
13:04We're getting you through hump day.
13:05Then it'll be Thursday.
13:06Then Friday.
13:07Then it is the weekend.
13:08But also, the NFL never sleeps here, Joe.
13:10Lines are always on the move.
13:12Practice reports are coming out.
13:13And information exchanges hands, which we got to make sure the people know about.
13:17465, 466 this weekend.
13:19That's a rotation number.
13:20That's the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets.
13:23And I love this.
13:24Joe, the Jets fan, as I like to say.
13:26How about this?
13:27They're home.
13:27They're getting two and a half.
13:29It's victory on the horizon for those New York Jets going up against the Cowboys.
13:35Just cruel, Donnie.
13:36That's all you are.
13:37You're just taking shots here, man.
13:39That's all you're doing.
13:40You're just cruel, dude.
13:42As if it's not bad enough I had to deal with the Jets on Monday night.
13:47I had to deal with the Yankees last night here.
13:49And it has just been painful these last 48 hours.
13:53But the good news is, for Jets fans, Aaron Glenn says this is just not going to be the
13:59same old, same old Jets.
14:00So, yeah, I'm on Dallas because I don't believe him.
14:05Everything I see about this team leads me to believe he's not a very good coach.
14:10The coaching staff has got some issues.
14:13And, yeah, you keep rolling out guys that continue to play stupid football, not because
14:20they're going to get pushed around or they're not athletic enough, Donnie, or they're not
14:24talented enough.
14:25They're doing it because they're idiots.
14:27And I'm sorry, as bad as the Cowboys have been, that game against Green Bay, if that
14:32didn't open up some eyes of what that team is capable of with Dak Prescott at quarterback,
14:37kind of hard not to lay the two and a half in this spot.
14:40By the way, maybe I set the found, like, I'm going to cut Xavier Gibson.
14:43We're not going to make any more, you know, errors, I should say, on special teams.
14:47Oh, let's go fair catch a punt racing at the goal line at this point.
14:50Things aren't changing right now for Aaron Glenn and the boys.
14:5247 and a half, like, if I'm playing this game, Dallas is going to move the football
14:56against anybody.
14:56I think their offense is quality, just depends on what Dak Prescott wants to throw interceptions
15:00or not.
15:00But the Jets, like, you actually have a pretty clear path.
15:03They have one wide receiver, one pass catcher.
15:05It's Garrett Wilson.
15:05They have now one running back in the backfield, and that's going to be Brees Hall.
15:08And now they have one quarterback who just likes to run the football.
15:11So it's easy to say, oh, there's so many options on their offense.
15:14No, you have three options that you could take, plus the running props over for Justin Fields,
15:18take the running props and receiving props over for Brees Hall.
15:21And then you take a look on the outside, it's just Garrett Wilson alone.
15:24So I'm actually getting involved, baby, on the Jets this weekend with some of those props
15:27here.
15:28I'll tell you what's going to be tough to get some props in.
15:30The New York Giants, no Malik neighbors.
15:32Is Jackson Dart going to run 15 times when they say he had sore hamstrings in the past
15:36game for running 10 times?
15:37Is it going to be Spencer Rattler, who they ran the Philly special in a big part in that
15:42game against the Buffalo Bills for an interception?
15:44So how much are you trusting your quarterback?
15:45A 40 and a half to 41 total and a one and a half point favorite from New Orleans.
15:49I got to tell you, Jackson Dart on the road to his first start.
15:52I don't know if I could take the Giants and I don't love New Orleans, but I'd lean New
15:55Orleans at this point, Joe.
15:57Yeah.
15:57And it's funny because the Giants were favored on the look ahead line here at about minus
16:02one and a half.
16:03But again, we've seen a lot of a lot of public money here on the Giants, believing in Jackson
16:08Dart and company here and just wanting to fade New Orleans as much as possible.
16:14But you see that line flip there.
16:16You're asking this kid to go on a road.
16:17It wasn't like, I mean, what did he do?
16:19He threw for 111 yards and took five sacks.
16:22He had 54 yards rushing, didn't turn the ball over.
16:26But let's be realistic.
16:27If your game plan with Jackson Dart is what we just saw against the, you're going to get
16:32this kid killed.
16:33So they better figure something out ahead of time.
16:36And I think the public believes he can build off of that.
16:40But I believe there is a contingency in the market that believes expecting him to go on
16:44the road, even against New Orleans, who, by the way, took it to the Bills there for about
16:50three quarters.
16:51Yeah, that's a big ask for this kid.
16:54Like who we'd like, is it going to be Scattaboo getting 37 carries in this game with no Malik
16:58neighbors and you keep the ball on the ground.
16:59That's something to keep an eye on.
17:01But hey, the Giants got their franchise quarterback.
17:03Let's see what he does here in that game down in New Orleans, Las Vegas and Indianapolis.
17:07Indianapolis should have won that football game against the Rams this week, but they
17:10didn't.
17:11And then you have Mr. Interception himself, Geno Smith.
17:13Look at the Colts open up as a six and a half point favorite.
17:16A lot of outlets, Joe, have moved to sevens right now and a total 47 and a half.
17:19I think this is a good bounce back spot for the Colts in the spot.
17:22I do think we get points, but also I think we get multiple interceptions again from our
17:26guy, Geno.
17:28Well, it's funny.
17:29I mean, what could the Colts be if, you know, Donnie Mitchell doesn't, you know, drop the
17:34ball before he, you know, celebrating before he gets in the end zone, right?
17:37You know, what could that have been if he didn't hold on a 53 yard touchdown catch by
17:43the running back there?
17:45So I listen, the bottom line is they are there.
17:48They're still averaging over six yards per play.
17:50The Colts here.
17:51I don't exactly trust the Raider defense here to be some sort of juggernaut.
17:56That's absolutely going to stifle Indy at home here.
18:01It feels like we're more likely to get points than anything else in this game.
18:06So that's kind of where I'm leaning right now is looking at maybe an over could be in
18:10play.
18:11How about an over in this one, Joe?
18:13Maybe the game of the day, specifically in the one o'clock hour, that's Denver and Philadelphia.
18:16You saw a nice win for Denver on Monday night football against a bad Bengals team, but they
18:19did crush them.
18:20The Eagles won yet another game in Tampa Bay, had that big lead, almost lost it late.
18:25Baker Mayfield throws that late interception, helps out the Philadelphia Eagles.
18:28This line opened up Joe four and a half.
18:30Now we're seeing three and a half of some outlets, but the total 43 and a half.
18:33I understand the Philadelphia Eagles offense is struggling, but the scores on a week to
18:37week basis don't show they're really struggling.
18:38I think there's a chance we get 45 plus points in this game.
18:41Joe, how about that?
18:43Well, you could, but this is going to be a come the Jesus kind of game here for the Denver
18:49Broncos.
18:50It's been a rough go of it.
18:52Now what?
18:53The third road game in four weeks here for them.
18:55Got to go in a hostile environment, but defense travels, this defense has got to do their
19:00part against an inconsistent Philadelphia offense here.
19:05You're going to need to figure some things out here.
19:07If they're as good as we think they are, this Denver team and people think they are, then
19:12they're going to have to show it in this spot.
19:14I don't think they win a shootout.
19:16I think their best bet is to keep this thing as low scoring as possible.
19:19They need to show up, Joe, which means who's actually showing up for the Baltimore Ravens.
19:23Who's going to be playing in this game?
19:24Looks like it's going to be Cooper Rush going up against Stroud.
19:26By the way, Stroud picked up a victory last week.
19:28A couple of touchdowns shut out.
19:30They have a good defense, but is that enough to go into Baltimore and win?
19:33By the way, Houston, now a favorite in this game, Joe.
19:36Minus one and a half in Baltimore.
19:39Yeah.
19:39The look ahead line was minus 10, Donnie, with Lamar and company here.
19:43But yeah, this is, yeah, this is what a difference this is.
19:47Yeah.
19:48Ravens getting points at home against a Houston offense that had six points through three quarters.
19:53Just, yeah, no, I'm good.
19:54I'll take the Ravens.
19:56This is, that's, it's such a fun handicap.
19:58It's like, what do you do with Cooper Rush?
19:59Well, he's been around the block.
20:00Not like a rookie getting his first start at this point.
20:02Baltimore generally good at home, but not a ton of, you know, help from Lamar Jackson.
20:07But also, Lamar Jackson wasn't playing that well against Kansas City.
20:10Could this be an easy Baltimore win?
20:12More NFL news and notes on deck next.
20:14Let's get after it.
20:15More NFL is never a bad thing.
20:17Yes, we have Minnesota and Cleveland.
20:18They're going to play another overseas game to start the day on Sunday, but then we trail
20:22into that four o'clock hour, head up to the West Coast.
20:25Who's actually playing?
20:26Boy, I'll tell you right now, the war of attrition, as we keep bringing up on each one of these
20:29teams, like who's playing for Tampa at this point?
20:31Is Bucky Irving going to play in this game?
20:33Like Evans is still down, still waiting on some information.
20:35Also, Baker Mayfield came into that Eagles game, Joe, with a bicep injury on his throwing
20:40arm.
20:40Didn't really hamper him in that game as he was slinging it all over the place.
20:43But an opening line of minus one and a half for Seattle, that's not sitting at three and
20:48a half and a total of 44 and a half.
20:50What am I missing here, Joe?
20:52It's just Baker Mayfield's going to show up and try to win this game by himself.
20:55I like Seattle in this spot.
20:56And by the way, correct me if I'm wrong, a little extra preparation time for Seattle
20:59as well.
21:01Yeah, well, exactly.
21:03Yeah, right.
21:03So you've got Seattle on extra rest and Tampa on one of the longest road trips in the league,
21:10by the way, flying all the way from Tampa to Seattle is that's rough here.
21:15But you got to figure that's already been baked in, right?
21:18So now that we're hearing some injury concerns here with Tampa, we're starting to see this
21:22pop up.
21:24And like you mentioned it, Donnie, to have the hook available three and a half, I think
21:28is fascinating.
21:29But it's such a low total.
21:31It's still 44, 44 and a half here.
21:35So Baker's going to have to win it with his arm.
21:38We know this, but it's good to have Tristan Wurfs back.
21:41It's good to have Godwin back.
21:43Yeah, I'm going to be interested to see if this thing drops back down to a field goal.
21:49If it doesn't, that's a big tell sign here to mark it.
21:53And they'll leave the hook out there because they think Seattle's going to win this thing
21:56by easily, in fact, going away.
22:00It's official breaking news.
22:02Joe and Eerie right now coming across the sports landscape here.
22:05Adam Schefter, of course, other multiple outlets as well.
22:09Changing Cleveland.
22:10Browns are benching veteran quarterback Joe Flacco in favor of rookie quarterback Dylan
22:13Gabriel.
22:14Per sources, the Browns were informed of the change this morning.
22:17A new sheriff in town, Dylan Gabriel.
22:20And it's not Shador Sanders.
22:22Uh-oh.
22:23Well, I mean, so who's the backup now?
22:26So now it's going to be Flacco is the backup.
22:28Have to come in.
22:29Like, how bad is Shador Sanders that he can't even crack this, he can't even crack the number
22:34two quarterback spot here, which is absolutely crazy.
22:37But all right, Dylan Gabriel, it is.
22:39You know what?
22:40At least it gives him a shot.
22:41He's not a statue.
22:42He's not a sitting duck.
22:44At least the kid has got some mobility here.
22:47And he's shown it in the preseason.
22:48He showed it in the 20 years he played college football.
22:52The kid's a gamer.
22:53So yeah, I love the move.
22:55I think it's a little too, a little too late, but yes, I think if he can show some promise
23:00here across the pond against a, well, let's face it.
23:03And not like Carson Wentz is some sort of top QB right now.
23:09He too is a backup.
23:10Let's see what we get from Dylan Gabriel.
23:13Yeah, a little intrigued now.
23:15Like, oh, we're going to have that, you know, run of the mill Joe Flacco.
23:17At least you get to see a rookie quarterback in that early time slot.
23:20We'll see what happens.
23:20But breaking news, we always like to give that to you live.
23:22And that news just came across the wire.
23:24So we had to bring that up here.
23:25Next up, I'll tell you right now, name the points here for the Detroit Lions that they're
23:30going to score against the Cincinnati Bengals.
23:32The line opened up as a look ahead at seven and a half.
23:34It's already over double digits.
23:35Detroit's not even a home team.
23:37You take a look at Cincinnati, the total in this game, 48 and a half to 49 and a half.
23:41Cincinnati looks absolutely disgustingly bad.
23:44So we just saw a quarterback change there for Cleveland.
23:47Could we get one in Cincinnati?
23:48And again, Joe, the original question, how many points are the Lions going to put up this
23:52weekend?
23:53Yeah.
23:54It's going to be interesting outdoors, right?
23:57For Detroit.
23:58Are we seeing any pride at all in Cincinnati or are they going to get boat raced on their
24:05own field?
24:05This could be the game where that could be all she wrote for Zach Taylor because the lack
24:11of effort in that game against Denver and just the attitude and body language is just
24:18absolutely gross.
24:19If these guys don't have any pride here and show up against Detroit, who we all know is
24:24more lethal indoors than outdoors.
24:27Yeah, it could be he could be that first coach off the off the board here.
24:31Zach Taylor with the Cincinnati Bengals.
24:34Here's what's going to save them, Joe.
24:36Just looked up here.
24:36Zach Taylor's contract with the Bengals was extended on 2022 runs through 2026.
24:41So the Bengals look at this and go, wait a second.
24:43I can't fire my coach this year.
24:44If I have to pay him for the next year here, Zach Taylor is safe because the Bengals are
24:48cheap.
24:49How about that?
24:49How's that a way to run an organization, Joe?
24:51Now, if you told me 2025 ends it, he would get fired.
24:55But 2026, they're like, you know what?
24:56Even if it's better for our football team, we're not paying an extra coaching staff to
25:00go away for a year.
25:01It just doesn't happen there in Cincinnati.
25:03No, it doesn't.
25:04And boy, that's a lot of money that they have got invested in a handful of players there.
25:09It's just not working out.
25:11They still have no offensive line and they can't stop anybody on the defensive side of
25:16the ball.
25:17Quick, quick question here for you.
25:18Trey Hendrickson traded the next two weeks or no?
25:21Not with that contract now.
25:23Now he's untradeable.
25:25Yep.
25:25Now he's untradeable.
25:26No, he doesn't even have any more left, though.
25:29You know what I mean?
25:29That's my point.
25:30Elevated this year.
25:31Nobody's taking it on to have to give it to him next year.
25:35He's coming to the Eagles right here, people.
25:37He's coming to the Eagles.
