00:00Public jumping on the Baltimore Ravens. Both of these teams rise from their graves last week with
00:05the Baltimore victory at home over the Bears and then Miami. An ultra impressive performance
00:09on the road in a dome taking on the Atlanta Falcons. This game, talking about Baltimore
00:13as a favorite on Thursday night at minus seven and a half at most outlets and a total of 49 and a
00:19half. It does say TBD at quarterback for the Ravens, but the expectations are it will be Lamar
00:24Jackson. Tua feels good. Lamar feels good. Center stage on a Thursday. The spread line is what?
00:30Well, it's interesting, right? So the Dolphins backs against the wall, right? Destroy a lot of
00:37people's tickets and survivors around the country, Dottie. Absolutely blew them up. But this hasn't
00:43really moved the needle a whole bunch here, right? I mean, the line was seven in the look ahead market,
00:49seven and a half. And that's kind of where we're at right now. Even though that we know Lamar
00:55wasn't healthy enough to go last week, but there is some obviously thought that he is going to be
01:02healthy enough to go this week. And yet we're still seeing the total locked in at 50 as well.
01:09We haven't seen any line movement in this. So what gives, Donnie? Is it Lamar is coming back and the
01:14Ravens are back on track or is this, you know, the Dolphins are going to turn into a pumpkin
01:20again? I can't wait to see where this line moves during the week. Cause right now the market does
01:26not seem to be impressed on either side. No. And also the binoculars route from the NFL saying like,
01:32what's that practice report going to look like today, Mr. Horrible? Let's keep everything on
01:36its P's and Q's right now. We'll find out Thursday night who wins that football game, but the Ravens,
01:40I guess now look like they're going to win the AFC North because the Pittsburgh Steelers just don't
01:44look that good. Make it make sense. Sometimes it just doesn't. We just had Monday Night Football.
01:49We just had an epic 18 inning Major League Baseball game, but the pages keep turning here. It is a
01:55Tuesday. And before you know, we'll be on a Thursday night football game in Miami between the Baltimore
02:00Ravens and the Miami Dolphins. This line currently sits as a seven and a half point favorite for the road
02:05team Baltimore Ravens in a total of 49 and a half. The question in this game though, is are we going to
02:10get Lamar Jackson and also what version of Lamar Jackson are we going to get? He's expected to
02:16start Thursday, but from the information that we get from the Baltimore Ravens, we can't trust
02:20anything. Ari Mirov tweets, the Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh and Lamar Jackson quote. I feel very
02:26confident about it. I expect him to be out there Thursday night. We thought he'd be out there on
02:30Sunday, Joe. How about that? Yeah. I'm a little too, little too late here, Harbaugh, right? I mean,
02:36we can only believe half of what you're saying. Does he practice? Does he not practice? But it
02:41does appear though. And he'd be crazy to open up that can of worms and then be like, no, sorry. He's
02:47not, can't do it. I think he goes here. I'm very interested though, Donnie, because we talked about
02:53it in the spread lines and we're not seeing a lot of movement one way or the other here. I mean,
02:58if he is, maybe the market is just being like, I'm not doing anything in this game until I know
03:04100% sure who the quarterback is going to be, but I got to tell you, even if it's Stu Puntley
03:10with what he showed me against that, uh, against that Miami defense, I still would be looking at
03:16the Ravens in this spot. Yeah. I'm interested to see what we're getting out of Lamar Jackson.
03:21Like if he wasn't able to go on Sunday, what he said now a hundred percent, cause you gave him
03:24three extra days off for the next week. That's something certainly to keep an eye on here in Miami
03:28with the good vibes after a finally a solid performance on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
03:33Sweet happens both of these teams in the doldrums, but it just looks like the Ravens really have a
03:37chance possibly to get healthy and win that division where the Miami Dolphins just trying
03:41to stave off elimination of their quarterback, their head coach, and a couple of players on
03:45the team before the trade deadline hits. Now let's get to an important informational story
03:51out of Philadelphia. Cam Scadabo went down, got a standing ovation from the Philly crowd,
03:56ushered off to a hospital, got surgery, big Dom, the Philadelphia Eagles head of security,
04:00man. He did the right thing here. Cause I'm telling you right now, you know, big Dom brought
04:05down cheesesteaks from Angelo's and pizza from Angelo's to the party. Now you see those two
04:11pictures right there on the graphic. That looks like a quality slice, but that cheesesteak,
04:15that's not from Angelo's from the picture there to the right. When you get the whiz wit,
04:19that's probably coming from Gino's and or Pat's. No way he was bringing Gino's or Pat's over to
04:23Scadabo and his family at the hospital. You know, it was Angelo's a high quality cheesesteak.
04:27Let me tell you this. You could be down in the doldrums. You could be losing your bets.
04:31You could have a broken ankle. Somebody shows up with a really good pizza and cheesesteak
04:36that brightens your day. And that's exactly what big Dom did for the Scadabo family. How about that?
04:42Outstanding stuff. Class act all the way around. We'd expect nothing less from big Dom there,
04:48right? I mean, it's he's been, he's been known to do things like this in and around the city and
04:54around the team. So good guy. And I, I don't think anybody had to coax him to do it either.
04:59No, I'm telling you right now, like that guy's the no, he want your tickets fixed there from the
05:03police department. You want a guy that's going to clean up a mess at night. It's big Dom. You want
05:06good pizza. It's big Dom right here. And also some people getting upset saying like, you know,
05:11when Saquon Barkley's done in a couple of years, maybe Scadabo comes to Philadelphia,
05:14just greasing those skids because how good a time that Scadabo was shown, even with the injury there
05:19at the hospital. I got to tell you right now, you get ruined for life. You get an Angelo's
05:23cheesesteak and a pizza. You don't want anybody else's cheesesteaks or pizzas here. So be careful
05:27what you wish for when you get that pizza, because you always want that quality slice and certainly
05:33that quality cheesesteak back at it here. How about this? Sertan out a couple of weeks. This is
05:37devastating. Like Denver is turning the corner on. Can they be a great football team? Can they sustain
05:42success? Comeback victory of the Eagles, wax the Dallas Cowboys. And now we find ourself with maybe the
05:48best player in football on their side of the football field. That's quarterback Patrick
05:51Sertan down for multiple weeks here. Yeah, it's not good. I mean, the guy is a absolute shutdown
05:58corner. He's going to make life difficult for any offense and take away the best weapon. And now he
06:05is not going to be available. So that's, that's a problem. I think moving forward, you can't
06:11understate how much he means to that defense there. We're talking about one defensive player of the
06:17year candidate. He is that good and he will be missed. They just got to, they got to hold the
06:22fort down, Donnie. And it's kind of hard to do since you got to chase down, you know, Kansas City
06:26here at some point, but hopefully he gets back in a hundred percent. Holding down the fort. That's
06:31what Wentz tried to do, despite his entire upper body exploding. And by the way, I did have a team
06:36total last week that had the Minnesota Vikings. I would have liked to known an exact injury report of
06:42what actually was going on with Carson Wentz. Cause I was like, Oh, he's going for surgery.
06:45Well, what's the shoulder banged up? No, his whole upper body exploded, but we just wanted to tell
06:50you about the shoulder. Makes me mad Joe with us. Yeah, it really does. I feel terrible though for
06:55him. Right. I mean, that poor guy, Donnie, he was on the couch and then there's like, all right,
07:01I'll come in. I'll help you. Oh, geez. What could have been the Prince of Philadelphia now getting
07:06season ending surgery in Minnesota. Do you like to bet on sides? Do you like to bet on totals? Do you
07:12like to bet on player prop bets here? We give that all day long in the sports grid network as we
07:16handicap away all the way through, but sometimes you like to take a look at some of those interesting
07:20markets on poly market and Kelsey. Like, can I bet on a coach to see when he's going to get fired?
07:25Can I bet on a certain city getting an NBA team? Yes, you can people. And question number one,
07:31Joe, when you're, I'm going to ask you here is, and you can bet on this, who will be the next coach
07:36out in the NFL? Three markets listed. Mike McDaniel, Raheem Morris, and Brian Dable. You
07:41know, the high riser is right now. It's Raheem Morris of the Atlanta Falcons. You know, who was
07:47the high on the card coming down? Certainly this week, it was Mike McDaniel. Mike McDaniel is still
07:51the favorite to get fired, but it seems like Steven Ross is like, Hey man, it's my guy. Like
07:55I backed this guy. Brian Dable's on this list. He thinks as a head coach, but their ownership
07:58group continues. He says like, man, Brian Dable's our guy for the future. It feels to me
08:02like it should be Raheem Morris as the next coach to go. And the question is, when would
08:08he actually be fired? And what are the price points that you can get? If you bet that the
08:11next coach in the NFL is fired and he lay a hundred dollars down on it, that pays back
08:15417 bucks. McDaniel, Morris, Dable, who's in your crosshairs right there, Joe?
08:23So likely Dable and McDaniel are done, right, Donnie? But the reality is they have not been fired
08:31yet. And they've had every opportunity, the owners of those teams there to go ahead and fire
08:38them. So if they haven't been fired at this point, I don't see them being fired at any other point,
08:43which means they're likely going to be able to finish out the season, which makes it tough
08:48because Raheem Morris, to your point, Donnie, right? Is the one guy, if Atlanta loses the next
08:54three games in a row, let's say, or two games in a row in epic fashion, and they can't get any
09:00offense. It's over for Raheem Morris. You need somebody on that list, Donnie, that we think can
09:07actually be fired in season right now before the end of it. Otherwise, there's no value waiting to
09:13the end of the year. And I think Morris is the right pick there. Right back at it with the NFL.
09:18Why? Because week nine, and again, shedding tears here, Joe Ranieri, shedding tears, week nine of the
09:22NFL. Come on, we were just in Philadelphia opening night, taking on the Dallas Cowboys here with so much
09:27of a season left to go. And there's still, there's a lot of football left to be played. But this is
09:30why we always, like, where does the time go? Next week, Joe, we're going to be, the clock's going to
09:36be falling back on Sunday. We're in the month of November. Incredible how fast this goes. But we do
09:41have a game coming up on Thursday Night Football. And the question, once again, for the Baltimore Ravens,
09:45who are we getting at quarterback? And also, for a team that's so down in the dumps, you're not
09:49supposed to get off the map with the record that they actually have, the Baltimore Ravens.
09:53They picked up a victory last week without their top signal caller in Lamar Jackson. Now they go on
09:58the road as a seven and a half point favorite, expecting Lamar Jackson to be back. Talk to me,
10:03Joe, about the momentum. If Baltimore wins last week and this week, should the Pittsburgh Steelers
10:08be looking at the rear view mirror, be like, you know what? Just pass us. We can't hold on anymore.
10:13Well, they need to do that altogether anyway here. I mean, let's face it, Cincinnati and the Browns
10:20not likely to make a run here. But Pittsburgh sitting there still with a two-game lead, right,
10:26over Baltimore. But they're going to have to play one another here, Donnie, coming up. We know this.
10:32And they got to get Lamar healthy. And the fact that they could weather the storm, and I do think
10:37he is going to go here against Miami. And I don't think they're going to have a problem beating Miami.
10:42And I'll tell you for the simple reason, is I think what that defense showed you last week
10:47of Baltimore is that they got a little fight in them. They got healthy. They got Roquan Smith.
10:52They got Humphrey back. They got a bunch of key guys back on that defensive side. And it showed
10:58against a team. I mean, who was feeling better than the Bears, right, going into that game,
11:03having a four-game winning streak? They were rolling, Donnie. Certainly started to look the part
11:08offensively. Not against that defense there. I don't think it matters that they come here to Miami
11:13at all. I do like the Ravens to win this game. But really, the Ravens have to win. They have no
11:20more room for error, Donnie. So this is a every game is a winner. Your season's over kind of
11:25situation right now. Already in the playoffs in the month of October, it feels like that's what
11:30the Baltimore Ravens are doing. They have to chase down the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are opening that
11:34door for them to try to push it across. Keep in mind, also, both of those teams, they still have two
11:38games left to play in the division. That could decide it as well. Minnesota and Detroit, they're
11:43in the same division here. Detroit looks like their engines are revving right now. The questions
11:48were on J.J. McCarthy. Hold on. We've seen quarterbacks fight back from high ankle sprains
11:52way sooner than J.J. McCarthy. By fault of his, no fault of his, he's going to start this week because
11:59Carson Wentz ain't coming to the rest and Brosmer or whoever the heck that backup quarterback is not
12:03playing either. They, talking about Minnesota, eight and a half point dogs, a rusty J.J. McCarthy
12:09on the road. I don't know how this ends well for Minnesota at this point right now, but all the
12:14tickets, nine out of 10, Joe, lining up on Detroit to absolutely hammer the Vikings. Can they have a
12:20chance here in Motown? Well, I mean, both teams are rested here, right? Because the Lions had a bye week,
12:26and I don't think the Vikings played, what, last Thursday. So it wasn't LA, but big deal. At least
12:33they've had some chance to work on some things and get it going. But I mean, the line, the look
12:38at line here was about seven, seven and a half. And that was prior to the Vikings getting steamroll
12:4437 to 10 against the Chargers. Now we know no Carson Wentz. Now McCarthy, who to me, still a rookie
12:51here, Donnie. And I know it's his second year in the league, but he's only got a handful of games
12:56under his belt here because of injury. So yeah, I think the line is only going to continue to go
13:02one way. And are we ready to admit that maybe this Vikings defense was a little overrated heading
13:08into the season here with Brian Flores? What do you think? Yeah. Hey, Brian Flores, keep blitzing
13:14Detroit. See what happens to you in this performance where they're going to pick up that
13:16and dot you down the field. Like this isn't a, hey, rookie quarterback, I'm going to show them all
13:21these different looks that Detroit team is humming on offense and they just might stop at. This might
13:25be a Justin Jefferson game. Like you better trade me before the deadline. I can't take it anymore
13:30here in Minnesota. How about this game? Get used to it. Pittsburgh is, Ooh, Ooh, Pittsburgh getting
13:34points at home. Let's take them. Oh, you know what? You're getting points again this weekend because
13:38the Colts, the Colts, a dome team going outdoors to Pittsburgh and are the favorites and they deserve to
13:43be. That's a well-oiled machine on offense, a three point favorite on the road and a total of 49 and a
13:49half. If you are Pittsburgh, Hey, Aaron Rogers, dinking to Duncan, ain't going to work in this
13:53game. And if that defense shows up on Sunday, once again, it goes, Hey, we don't need any sacks.
13:57You're going to get planted by the Colts here. The Colts as a favorite on the road in Pittsburgh,
14:02Joe, what are your early thoughts this week? Well, this is going to be interesting, right?
14:06Donnie? Because it's all right. So we we've seen the Colts do it now on the road, albeit in some dome
14:13situations, but what are they going to go in November and December? And this is the big question,
14:19right? What are they going to be doing outdoors? Well, they're likely going to be doing whatever
14:24they want offensively. The question is with the Colts to me is defensively. What are they going to
14:30do? They still have a ton of injuries in that secondary. They've got some injuries on the
14:35defensive line. Pittsburgh is starting to get backed into a corner here a little bit. I don't expect them
14:42to be held to what prior to that empty net or Pittsburgh against that defense of, uh, of green
14:49Bay. I expect points in this one. And I think you got to be crazy to think that a light switch is
14:54going to go off and Pittsburgh is all of a sudden going to become the steel curtain. I think it's
14:58over is all the way with these two teams. Yeah. Again, under an Indianapolis, you might think in the
15:04past, like, yeah, that makes some sense. Anthony Richardson, this, you watch this offense as efficient
15:09as you can get wide receivers, tight ends, offensive line, and maybe the best running
15:14back in football right now on fire is Jonathan Taylor. Hey, hand the football on your own 20
15:18thing, 80 yards later. That's a touchdown here. Good luck. Pittsburgh here. The team that deserves
15:23to be favored is actually favored in that ball game. Let's take a look at the game of the day,
15:27possibly at 425 Kansas city chiefs on a short work week to take on the Buffalo bills. The bills
15:33came out of their buy. We can absolutely pound it. Keep pounding Carolina Panthers. Yeah. You got
15:38pounded last week. Now you see them at home in Buffalo. Look at this. The Kansas city chiefs are
15:44the favorites on the road. The Buffalo bills at home was the dog 51 and a half. This game should
15:50be absolutely spectacular. And I agree. We're in a coin flip right now based on the odds. Yeah, it is.
15:57And again, I don't know that Buffalo wants to get into any sort of shootout here. That is not what they
16:04have been built for this season. Their defense is obviously not as good as they've had in some
16:10years past. They got to get Matt Milano back. They lost Ed Oliver in the last game at Carolina. Now
16:17again, after waiting to get him back. So the best bet for Buffalo is to do what they have
16:23set out to do. And that is run the ball down your throat and keep my homes and company on the sideline.
16:29That is one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. And they are going to need them to be good.
16:35They're going to need to move the chains. I think the under is the best look here, Donnie,
16:39because I don't think Buffalo is going to just drop back Josh Allen 50 times in this game.
16:44They're going to run it down the throat of Kansas city and force them to stop them.
16:49Yeah. Going to need a big Josh Allen game. Cause that Kansas city chiefs defense looks like it's
16:53really zeroing in here in 2025 fun game though. Glad we have that matchup where we actually have
16:57games to look forward to this weekend. Imagine that then just alone, betting these games,
17:01Sunday night football, Seattle and Washington. The questions, what are we getting out of
17:04Washington? Is Terry McClellan going to play? Is Debo Samuel healthy enough? How about Jaden
17:08Daniels? Will he be the starting quarterback? The one thing I know is that's got a pretty good
17:12football team and they are the favorites on the road, rested and ready at minus three and a half
17:16as a favorite. Yeah. I kind of like Seattle here and Seattle, Donnie under McDonald here is
17:23no problem. They're one of the best ATS road teams that you can back over the last couple of
17:30seasons with him. It's being at home. That has been the issue for Seattle, but on the road in a spot
17:36like this, even being a favorite has not been an issue here. I think they're rolling and I think
17:41right time, right place could be right for a blowout here. Yeah. It just looks like that,
17:46like the wheels are falling off for Washington. Sometimes you get it. Like I've talked about
17:49ad nauseum here, the San Francisco 49ers, really good football team coming into the season,
17:54really good schedule. But if you don't have the football players to play that schedule,
17:57like we don't even know if Mac Jones is going to play or even Brock Purdy or both might be injured
18:01for this game coming up. It feels like that. Like, yes, Mariota is a veteran quarterback,
18:05but you knew last night, come on, seven points against Kansas City. That's not going to work.
18:09Is Mariota just going to flip the light switch without Terry McLaurin and run up and down that field?
18:12I don't think so. Good slate this week. And also no early games on Sunday here,
18:18as you fall back, no late games. Hey, look, you get an extra hour there. Should be able to stay
18:23up at this point. Monday Night Football is Arizona and Dallas. So I like the way this is shaping up,
18:27but the most important thing is who's going to be a quarterback on Thursday night. We always keep
18:31you posted on the early line. We'll get those updates Wednesday. We'll get those updates Thursday.
