00:00I felt coming into this Ryder Cup that 1 to 12, when you look at it, just the strokes gained, data across the board, the Americans had more depth.
00:11I felt comfortable about the singles, if they were tied or just even a little behind, that they could go and win this Ryder Cup.
00:18That is over the last, you know, three months, six months, 12 months, not over the course of history.
00:24This is coming into this Ryder Cup.
00:26Now, were there players that were playing better than others?
00:28Yeah, that was the biggest question mark, is the guys with experience from the American team didn't necessarily have the form coming in.
00:36And the one guy that, really two guys, I felt like JT, Colin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele, I felt like they needed two of those three to play well this week,
00:47because you just didn't know how the rookies were going to perform.
00:50But they got inspired performances from JT.
00:53You saw some really good stuff from Xander Schauffele.
00:56Yeah, Colin Morikawa didn't necessarily have the week that he wanted, and you can definitely make a case about him being out in foursomes.
01:07Could he have been better in the four ball?
01:09Harris, I felt like, and Ben Griffin were misused this week.
01:13I felt like Ben should have maybe gone out again in the afternoon because of how well he's been playing.
01:18And you saw it this afternoon playing some really good golf.
01:22You could have definitely poked some holes at the lineups.
01:26And it's not like that Keegan and those guys didn't feel good about it.
01:31You know, the Europeans just played a little bit better.
01:33But when it comes down to just two points, you try to find holes in why the U.S. didn't get it done.
01:39What do you think the ending, sort of the closing narrative is going to be on this captaincy for Keegan Bradley?
01:46Because we talked about this all week long, and it's easy again to Monday morning quarterback, to Monday morning captain these things, right?
01:54We talked about coming in.
01:56We had questions about certain captain's picks that were used, right?
01:59We had questions about the course setup.
02:01We had questions about choosing to play foursomes first instead of four ball.
02:05We had questions, as you just noted there, about some of the pairings, the Morikawa-English pairing, things like that.
02:10And then you get here, and it doesn't pan out well.
02:14And they're in one of the deepest holes after two days in Ryder Cup history.
02:18And then you have the press conference last night where he's being asked about the fan behavior.
02:22And, you know, a reporter kind of asks a question in a way that says, are you saying that it's your players' fault that these guys, that the fans are acting like this because they're playing so bad?
02:32And he kind of bristles with that question.
02:33And you're sitting there on Saturday night, and you're thinking, man, this could go really, really bad for Keegan.
02:38And then we get to Sunday, and everything happens that happens.
02:41And, you know, I'm standing there watching Justin Thomas after he makes that birdie on 18.
02:47Just what an amazing comeback for him.
02:50And to hit that shot from the right rough on 18 and land it perfectly and give himself that opportunity to make that putt.
02:56And once he gets done with all of his interviews, the first person he's looking for is a cap, goes over, and gives Keegan a big hug.
03:01I mean, these guys, it seems like they loved playing for Keegan.
03:04And so I wonder how much that narrative changes from where we stood just less than 24 hours ago to where we are now on what people are going to say about the type of captain Keegan Bradley was here at Bethpage.
