00:00I think what's happening with high streets more broadly, both in Dublin, which is the city where I was born, and elsewhere in the UK, is pretty alarming.
00:09And there's a really clear moral that can be drawn from this experience, which is be careful of the internet.
00:16The internet can be a great friend. It is also a deadly enemy.
00:20It's definitely still worth going shopping. I mean, I personally, because I'm really tall, I have to go to shops to try things on, like trousers and things,
00:27just because otherwise I don't know if it's going to fit me online. I love going for a little shop with my friends.
00:33It's a place where you can feel like you're amongst other people, and I reckon that is primarily the biggest benefit.
00:40I reckon a lot of people come down here just to graze, not interested in buying anything.
00:43The high street's not great. The quality of stuff is pretty low. The cost is pretty high.
00:48I'm not one for online and digital, you know. They forget about the pensions, you know.
00:53When they shut the banks down in the local shops, you know, especially if you get bad weather.
