Major retailers, including Poundland and River Island, have announced a massive raft of store closures this January. In your opinion, what can be done to save the high street, or is online shopping now just too convenient and too powerful?

00:00Online shopping is the most aspect now, like the most thing that people do now.
00:06It's more easier, faster, but people have to be aware of scams.
00:10It is worrying when you see the high streets of towns and cities
00:15with just vape shops and barbers and charity shops.
00:21Maybe the increase of third spaces would be good, but I'm just one man.
00:29So on that, I'm really not too sure.
00:31I know I need saving, but I don't know how to go about it.
00:35It's just been nice to see the smaller towns being given support,
00:39but also big cities being given support,
00:42so that it still remains viable for a good mix of retail and leisure to be there for people,
00:49because it's what attracts people to town and city centres,
00:53and it's what helps the economy.
00:55And if the government are looking for growth, then that's going to help growth.
