00:06if the e-waste problem is left unchecked within the next 25 years.
00:11Our appetizing food Tom Yam, Tom Kha Gai and even Pad Thai may lose their taste
00:17and their main ingredients vanish because of the careless disposal of e-waste in our water and soil.
00:27It hurts to even imagine these dishes served without their 60 herbs.
00:32Their flavor is lost because the very plants can no longer grow, poisoned by this kind of e-scrap.
00:37As per the World Economic Forum, 50 million tons of e-waste are produced each year
00:42and left unchecked, this could more than double to 120 million tons by 2050.
00:48In Thailand, e-waste poses a serious threat contaminating the soil where our ingredients are grown
00:54and the waterways where our fish live.
00:56To combat this, AS launched its campaign, The Taste of Tomorrow.
