00:12and unlaunch prisoners. They're designed to prevent lateral threats at ground level. Very
00:17few are built with the idea that someone could be shooting from above. So when rounds come from an
00:22elevated position, the normal form of cover walls, vehicles are less effective. You're also dealing
00:27with line of sight issues. Spotting a concealed shooter on a roof is incredibly difficult.
00:32So for officers on the ground, it forces you into a split mission. Protect the people in the kill zone
00:38while simultaneously trying to identify and neutralize the shooter. We're talking about a
00:43case that involved local, state, and federal law enforcement. They were all there on the scene.
00:48What sort of challenges are there when you have all of those different agencies trying to work
00:53together to not just respond to the scene, but also work an investigation?
