00:00A goblin is being chased through a castle by a knight.

00:03He's got his sword out!

00:05The goblin's got a little dagger there, but he's mostly trying to hide.

00:08So the knight gets closer and closer.

00:10Are you gonna be able to defeat this fearsome beast?

00:13We don't know.

00:14Let's find out.

00:16Hey everyone!

00:17Welcome to the first ever episode of our brand new series,

00:20all based around the wonderful world of goblins.

00:22We're gonna be doing a bunch of different things for this series,

00:25including some one-shots like this,

00:27where we have a goblin character in a perilous situation,

00:30and we've re-gonna do some full campaigns with goblins as well.

00:35So if you like goblins, or you want to see them get squished,

00:39you've come to the right place.

00:40So, in today's one-shot,

00:44we are playing a young goblin who has just stolen a rather shiny crown

00:47from the King-esque horde, and now a knight has found him.

00:50And is chasing him through the castle to try and get that crown back.

00:53Our hero here has only got a little dagger,

00:55so we really don't know if he's gonna be able to defeat this fearsome beast.

00:59Oh, there he goes.

01:03He stabs at the knight, misses, runs away.

01:06Okay, so it looks like our little goblin thief

01:08has managed to navigate the twisting, turning halls of this castle pretty easily,

01:14and now he's found a treasure trove of gold and jewels.

01:18Maybe he'll take some time to grab a few of these loose diamonds.

01:21Nah, he's not gonna have time for that.

01:25He hears the knight coming back.

01:28Quickly runs away before the knight can catch up to him.

01:31Ooh, there's some peasants here.

01:34Hey, watch out, sir knight.

01:36Ooh, a big scary monster's coming this way.

01:40Make sure to protect us.

01:43Uh, what a small goblin.

01:46Ooh, the peasants all pull their sickles and pitchforks out,

01:49ready to defend themselves against this intruder,

01:51but the knight raises his hand.

01:53No, no, wait.

01:56It's okay.

01:57It's just a little goblin.

02:00I know him.

02:01He's just a thief.

02:02He didn't mean any harm.

02:04Please, put your weapons away.

02:05You guys are really overreacting.

02:08But now that our hero has made it past the peasants,

02:10he is now confronted by a pair of snarling dogs.

02:13These dogs look like they could take a bite out of a man.

02:17Well, maybe not a full-grown man,

02:19but certainly a small goblin.

02:22And the dogs are fast.

02:24Faster than our little goblin hero.

02:26They almost catch up to him,

02:27but he manages to scramble up onto a ledge just out of their reach.

02:31And from here,

02:32our plucky young hero sees his chance.

02:36There's a suit of armor over there with a helmet on,

02:38and he's got an idea.

02:39So he quickly makes his way over,

02:41puts on the helmet and the armor,

02:43and then yells down at the dogs,

02:45making the most ferocious face he can.

02:48The dogs, of course,

02:50don't understand what he's saying.

02:51But they do hear that angry tone,

02:53and decide that maybe a snack in armor is UNT worth it.

02:56And wander off to go find something else to chew on.

02:59Now, our hero takes off the armor,

03:01and decides to head up to the roof.

03:03He doesn't want to be caught,

03:05but he also doesn't want to fight.

03:07He wants to get out of this castle,

03:09and he thinks the roof might be a good way to escape.

03:12Only problem is,

03:14there's a huge spike on the roof,

03:16and it's raining.

03:17So our hero decides to take shelter under a nearby chimney.

03:20And while he peeks around the corner of the chimney

03:21to make sure the coast is clear,

03:23the knight finally finds him.

03:25Did you think you could hide from me?

03:28You little thief.

03:29Prepare

03:30to die.

03:32The knight charges forward,

03:34sword raised,

03:35but our hero is already gone.

03:36He squeezes through a small opening in the wall,

03:39and makes his escape into the knight.

03:41Did he manage to get away with the crown?

03:44Does he have a plan for it?

03:45What was his plan from the beginning?

03:48Was he always planning to sell it?

03:50Find out next time,
