00:00Hello! Welcome to my channel!

00:04Today, we're going to read a story about a goblin being chased by pirates.

00:09Once upon a time, deep in the dark and dank sewers of the city of Waterdeep,

00:15there lived a goblin named Snizz.

00:18Now, goblins are typically nasty,

00:21evil creatures who delight in nothing more than spreading misery and mayhem wherever they go.

00:26And young Snizz was no exception.

00:28He delighted in torturing little field mice,

00:31stealing shiny trinkets, and throwing rocks at passing pedestrians.

00:35Particularly if those pedestrians were high.

00:37However, one day, while he was out on his daily joyride,

00:40he came across something that truly caught his eye.

00:43Or rather, something that truly caught his nose.

00:46It was the most magnificent cheese that he had ever seen.

00:49A huge wheel of cheddar so large, it looked like a small boulder.

00:53And the smell, oh, the smell was absolutely divine.

00:59Unfortunately for Snizz, the cheese was being guarded by a large,

01:03burly dwarf with a bushy beard and an even bushier set of eyebrows.

01:08In his hand, he hefted a large battle axe that looked like it could fell a small tree with a single blow.

01:14Now, normally, a brave adventurer might have stood a chance against such a fearsome opponent.

01:19But unfortunately for Snizz, he was neither brave nor an adventurer.

01:24Just your typical cowardly goblin.

01:26So, what did he do?

01:28He ran, of course, making a mad dash for the nearest sewer entrance,

01:34and then disappearing into the labyrinthine tunnels below the city.

01:37The dwarf, whose name was Boren Stonehammer, gave chase,

01:41leaping over crates and barrels and sending rats scattering in their dozens.

01:45He was a warrior, after all, and not about to let some stinky goblin get away with his prize.

01:51As for Snizz, he didn't dare look back.

01:54He didn't need to.

01:55The sound of heavy footsteps and angry shouts echoed through the sewers,

02:00telling him that the dwarf was still right behind him.

02:03Suddenly, the tunnel opened up into a large cavern,

02:07and Snizz found himself face to face with a horde of goblins,

02:11about two dozen of them, all armed with rusty swords and wicked-looking knives.

02:15Behind him, he could hear Boren call out in surprise,

02:19giving him just enough time to think of a plan.

02:22And what was that plan, you ask?

02:24Well, it was a simple one.

02:26All Snizz had to do was get those goblins on his side,

02:30and then they could all rule the sewers together.

02:33That meant only one thing, treasure.

02:36If he promised them a share of the cheese, they would surely be willing to help him out.

02:40So, that's what he did.

02:42As the horde of goblins advanced on him, brandishing their weapons and snarling,

02:47Snizz emptied his pockets onto the ground before them,

02:50revealing a collection of shiny copper pieces.

02:53Then, with a flourish, he held up the biggest piece.

02:58A massive twenty copper piece, worth nearly one hundred small ones.

03:02The goblins hesitated, their eyes fixed on the shiny prize.

03:05Then, as if on cue, one of them lunged forward and snatched it up.

03:10The others followed suit, and before long,

03:13Snizz was surrounded by a gaggle of goblins,

03:16all clamoring for the treasure.

03:18Meanwhile, Boren had finally reached the chamber,

03:20and he, too, was eyeing the pile of coins.

03:24But when he saw the looks on those goblins' faces,

03:27he knew that they wouldn't stand a chance against the likes of him.

03:31With a grunt, he picked up the remaining coins and stuffed them into his pocket.

03:35Then he turned his attention to the cheese.

03:37Seeing the massive wheel of cheddar, his face broke into a wide grin.

03:42Soon, he was making his way through the tunnels,

03:45the sound of his laughter echoing behind him.

03:47And as for those goblins, well,

03:50they soon tired of playing nice and turned on one another,

03:53fighting over the scraps of cheese that Snizz had tossed to them.

03:57And that is the story of how a greedy goblin almost got away with the cheesy wheel

04:01and the many misadventures that befell him,

04:03and the heroes who tried to stop him.
