00:00Minister of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development, Kennedy Swarad Singh, responding on behalf of the Finance Minister, says just over 132,000 people paid property tax and he revealed the total sum collected.
00:15I have been informed that the total number of persons who paid property tax as of May 2, 2025 was 132,124 persons.

00:33Mr. President, the total sum of property tax collected as of May 2025 was $135,534,838.81.
00:46The Minister said the funds were deposited through different means, including commercial banks, which were then transferred to the exchequer account at the central bank.
