Council to launch pilot scheme

00:00Electric vehicle owners will be able to charge up outside their homes under a curbside cabling scheme to be trialled by the council.
00:08It means people who do not have a driveway will be able to run a cable through the pavement outside their house.
00:15Leeds City Council teamed up with electric vehicle firm CurboCharge to launch a 12-month pilot.
00:22Householders will be invited to apply to use the embedded cables as part of plans to boost access to charging.
