00:10Questions raised after Edinburgh residents given short notice over demolition plans.
00:15There has been a failure of communication around the proposed demolition of two Edinburgh multi-storey blocks, according to City councillors.
00:22Documents published two weeks ago spelled out that councillors are set to be asked to approve the demolition of the Inch-Mickery Court and Oxcars Court blocks, both in Muir House, in December.
00:33But councillors say some tenants received letters too late to attend a public information session, and that council officers have not communicated with elected members effectively.
00:43Edinburgh Police Chargeman, 49, in connection human trafficking following raid.
00:48A 49-year-old man has been charged in connection with human trafficking following a police operation in Edinburgh.
00:54It comes after police searched a Marchmont property on Tuesday, September 23rd.
00:59A four-figure sum of cash was also seized, and enquiries are ongoing.
01:04The man has been released and due to appear in court at a later date.
