00:01:10Had a dreadful start to the season in Barcelona and Spa.
00:01:14They had engine detonations caused by the specified fuel that the organization insists on,
00:01:19which the anti-knock properties are not good in this.
00:01:21Since AER have had to really, really wind back the timing on the turbo cars.
00:01:26And it just seemed to be paying off as far as we're aware.
00:01:28And touch wood, there's been no turbo engine failures tonight.
00:01:32And this Garcia car, then in the pits, gets it refilled.
00:01:35This is the lead car, in fact.

00:01:40I think they did have a driver change, I think, Tony, I've got out of the car.
00:01:43I think it may be Jan that's got in the car, couldn't quite see the crash on it properly there.
00:01:49But no need for cool suits, of course, now, because there is a stipulation they must have 32 degree temperature.

00:01:57The air conditioning in all the closed cars, including the prototypes is there.

00:02:08Let's just go through, for those of you who might have come home, switched on and thought who's doing what with which and to whom.
00:02:15Number nine, the Peugeot, currently in the hands of David Brabham, the youngest of the Brabham brothers, leads the Le Mans 24-hour race 2009,
00:02:28having competed, as I look at the screen, 177 laps.
00:02:33At 2 minutes and 40 seconds, 0.408 behind him, is currently Alan McNeish in the only one...
00:02:41Well, it's actually a lap down, but...
00:02:42...of the Audis that, yes, we've just decided he is a lap down, the only one of the Audis, he's going to click now, that really is, shall we say, on the pace.
00:02:51Right, that's Alan's now completed two shifts in this car, this is his third, he's about to start, so look for him completing a fourth shift at the end of this time.
00:02:58I'm sure he will, they won't touch the tyres, they've just done the fuel, check round the front of the car, make sure the radiators are fairly clear and out he goes.
00:03:05Peugeot, Peugeot number 8, in 3rd place Sarrazin, in 4th place 17, that's the Henri Pescarolo Peugeot, Paginot, the new hot shoe.
00:03:17And then, in 5th place, the Aston Martin, which has got Thomas Enger at the wheel of it, the big tough, and he is a hard check, but he's a lovely bloke.
00:03:29And, er, he's an inspiration of that team, because I'll tell you one thing about Thomas, he never gives up, he tries and tries and tries, he's got a heart like a lion.
00:03:39Now, the connection here, Romo Neonetti, we just saw, sitting in the Creation car, 4th participation at Le Mans, but he's actually filmed Stuntman, and he has done a lot of work in America.
00:03:48Now, Patrick Dempsey here, also has done a lot of work in America, not as a stuntman, but as a quasi-surgeon, his car, of course, running with the charities, they're raising money for children in the hospitals in Seattle, as they do in the States,
00:04:00but also for one of the major surgical, children's surgical hospitals in Paris, there's been an agreement between the ACO and the ALMS over this.
00:04:07Patrick Dempsey, star of Grey's Anatomy, not so well-known in Britain as it is, as it happens in France and Germany, huge in France, and he's just been absolutely mobbed by photographers, paparazzi in the public,
00:04:20where he walks around here, and, er, before you two join me this evening, I remarked, I was standing, talking to Dario Franchitti, and there's Patrick Dempsey, and the mob swept by, I didn't even notice Dario,
00:04:29Indy 500 winner, Indy car champion, married to a Hollywood actress, I mean, no, I'm not interested, you know.
00:04:34Well, I'll tell you a funny story about Patrick Dempsey, you mentioned about some of the films he's been in, there's a Disney film called Enchanted that he stars in,
00:04:44that my six-year-old daughter Ellie is very quite keen on, and out of the mouths of babes, I say, where she was watching, watching a replay of qualifying,
00:04:53I was watching as he spun the car into the gravel, and she looked at me, she said, Daddy, it's a good job, he's a good actor.
00:05:00That's very perceptive.
00:05:02Very perceptive, yeah.
00:05:03I'm just going to give a throw, also, for my grand-daughter Roxy, she's seven months old today, and I just want to say hello to her and the family,
00:05:10so she'll be here one day, and, er, my step-son's name is Rogers, I mean, Roxy Rogers, I mean, how cool is that?
00:05:18Fantastic, she's a star already.
00:05:20Patrick Dempsey, watch out, she'll be coming one day.
00:05:22Why are you saying, oh, yeah, hello, what have you, there are a couple of lads who couldn't come this year,
00:05:27er, the Rose Brothers, they are the, er, how can I put it, the comic geniuses of the little mob that come with John,
00:05:35and, er, lads, I know you're looking in, and, er, it's your care for your dogs that I care for, because they couldn't get someone to look after the dogs.
00:05:42Well, there you go, there is a heart out there somewhere, and that says how, er, how important their dogs must be,
00:05:48because if they love Le Mans as much as we love Le Mans, they would have much rather been here, I'm sure.
00:05:52Just stop now for Dempsey taking over, he was pretty, er, interesting that you see removing the film there, effectively,
00:05:58it's the, a closed car version of a tear-off that a racing driver would normally put on his visor, and, er, you see Formula One drivers,
00:06:05and, obviously, the open-top prototypes, the, the, the, the Audis, for example, and some of the, the, the Pescarola and other cars like that,
00:06:12the drivers have to put the tear-offs on, very interesting little bit of delicate work you see when the drivers have put them on,
00:06:18usually there's about three or four layers of film that go on top of each other, and you'll see that the drivers,
00:06:23at the end of each visor, or each end of his visor, has a little kind of a, er, a, sort of a, an angled part,
00:06:30that sort of kicks forward, so that he can just put his hand on the end of the visor, and just tear one off,
00:06:36and, er, and then do it from the other side, so left, right, left, right, and that's how they do it,
00:06:40it's just taped into place. Many, many years ago, in the early 70s, Chris Heyman was famously one of the most
00:06:46talented, but, er, sadly, yet, not, never to win a Grand Prix racing, but, er, well,
00:06:51leading the Italian Grand Prix in 1972, went for a tear-off, tore the lot off,
00:06:56the whole lot came off, 170, no, 190 mile-hours Breeze, somehow managed to finish,
00:07:01they made them tough in those days, didn't they? Oh, they did, we had a similar sort of thing,
00:07:05er, I can recall one of the British Grand Prix ones, we're going for a break very shortly, er,
00:07:11we'll be looking at the, also, the class positions when we come back, because they're interesting,
00:07:17and they're close.

00:08:42Welcome back on Eurosport Le Mans 24 hours, 2009, 77, the running of this event.
00:08:49And my goodness me, Neville Hay, do we have a racer on our hands.
00:08:52Not only is the action in the front, very, very close, and still at this stage of the race, less than half distance.
00:08:59Let's not forget, there's a very, very small gap between the leading Peugeot, the number nine Peugeot,
00:09:03of David Brabham, from the McVish Audi, and then the third Peugeot, or third position, Peugeot, Stéphane Sarazan, the pole position car.
00:09:15We've got a bit of a replay, I think, coming up here, some action from a little bit earlier.
00:09:19These are our leaders, so we have a very tiredly looking Peugeot crew.
00:09:23Yes, they look exhausted, don't they?
00:09:25They do indeed, enjoying the fact that their man is number one at the moment.
00:09:29I think one of the interesting things has been how well the older Audis have gone.
00:09:34They're comfortably up there, and if anything goes wrong, which it sometimes does, they're going to be very well in the hunt, aren't they?
00:09:43They are indeed, especially impressive is the sixth position at the moment, the number 14 car,
00:09:48which initially was down to be driven by Andre Lotterer, Charles Waldsman, and Naren Karthikeyan.
00:09:53Now this is what a Peugeot sounds like if you're inside the car, just listen carefully.
00:10:04Now the drivers tell me that if you've come from a petrol engine car to a diesel engine car,
00:10:22the lack of noise is something that strikes you straight away, because you're used to something that's really revving high.
00:10:30I know that people who have got into diesel cars from petrol cars on road cars,
00:10:34and they look at this and they say, well, it's only showing four and a half thousand revs, I'd be doing six and a half.
00:10:39Yeah, they use the torque is the answer, isn't it?
00:10:42Exactly.
00:10:42I think it's a very interesting thing with the diesel cars.
00:10:45First of all, both the manufacturers, Audi and Peugeot, have found a fantastic way of interpreting the rules
00:10:52to make sure they had the best possible opportunity of getting the fastest cars within the current regulations.
00:10:57Interestingly also, Volkswagen Audi Group, VHE, which own Audi, and PSA, which own Peugeot,
00:11:05in their respective fields are probably two of the finest manufacturers of diesel engine road cars.
00:11:09So you can buy an Audi, a Volkswagen, a Seat, a Skoda, or a Peugeot or a Citroën,
00:11:14and be pretty sure that the HDI engines, or the TDI in the case of the Audi, are going to be pretty special.
00:11:20Having driven both of their versions of the cars, a friend of mine I came down with has been driving a 407 HDI down here.
00:11:27Not only is it quite an efficient and comfortable, tremendous economy,
00:11:31but also you'd actually prefer to drive into a petrol just from an enjoyment of driving time.
00:11:37It just gives you this wonderful feeling of effortless.
00:11:39You are preaching to the converted.
00:11:41I have one of those other German cars that also are leaders in the diesel field.
00:11:49And I'm very surprised, actually, that they allowed all this to happen without actually putting their finger in the dike.
00:11:55But if you have, as I have, the opportunity to drive over a pretty challenging piece of road,
00:12:03it's called the Mountain, and it's in the Isle of Man.
00:12:07Yes.
00:12:07I can assure you...
00:12:08I know of it. I've never experienced it, but I know of it.
00:12:11I can assure you, driving over that in a diesel BMW, a quick diesel BMW,
00:12:17is every bit as thrilling, every bit as much fun as any petrol car I've ever had, any time, ever.
00:12:23I don't doubt it. I'm personally a big fan as well.
00:12:26So, understand that.
00:12:27But what I'm saying is that not only did they take the rules and work them to their advantage,
00:12:34but also they've used it as a brilliant marketing tool.
00:12:36Absolutely.
00:12:37Speaking to Christian Steen, who's the Peugeot Marketing Manager for the UK,
00:12:41is the way that they've used this, similarly Audi have done the same thing,
00:12:44but Peugeot especially said, look, we know that people know that we build great diesel engines,
00:12:49whether it's in a 207, a 308, a 400, whatever it may be.
00:12:53But people don't actually necessarily think of it as a performance engine.
00:12:57They think of it as refined, low emissions, emissions, of course.
00:13:00Peugeot, I think, manufacture more sub-130 gram cars than any other manufacturer in Europe.
00:13:06So that's very much part of their intrinsic marketing plan.
00:13:09The point really being is that we all know that they work brilliantly,
00:13:13but a lot of people are a bit, yeah, well, there's no way out of it.
00:13:15It won't be as much fun, it won't be fast, and it actually is.
00:13:18Now, we need to go back to the action and see what's been going on at the front.
00:13:22We've seen a Jet Alliance car there, Aston, which is,
00:13:26because now they've taken the boot lid off,
00:13:27which tends to tell me it's something to do with the fuel systems.
00:13:30That's where the tank would be in the back part of the car.
00:13:34It's not kind of...
00:13:34It's said in a way that there's no challenge, really, from Aston to the Chevrolets here,
00:13:38and we were looking at the classes, and just update you on that,
00:13:41we obviously know that we've got the Bravan Peugeot in the lead from McNiche with the Audi.
00:13:46That's 9 and 1, if you like the numbers, and you can see the numbers, of course,
00:13:50for those of you who are watching the television.
00:13:51And then Sarazan in third place.
00:13:55Moving down quickly, then we have got Collard,
00:13:59with the Porsche in number 31,
00:14:02and he now is with 170 laps on the board.
00:14:10If I've got it right, only 6.456 seconds behind him is Melo's car,
00:14:15which is quite remarkable.
00:14:16That's the Orica car.
00:14:19Beg your pardon, different class.
00:14:20No, it's the other Porsche, the ARI Porsche, number 5,
00:14:24who lost a bit of time.
00:14:26He's lost a bit of time, that car, but he's still on the board there.
00:14:30And then the next car in that class is the Lola,
00:14:34the Leinbach Lola,
00:14:36with 165 laps, so he's another two laps behind.
00:14:40We'll talk about the others in a second,
00:14:42then at the moment,
00:14:43as far as the big Chevrolets are concerned,
00:14:47by Jan Magnussen with the Corvette.
00:14:49Yeah, the Vets, obviously,
00:14:53we always expected them to pretty much dominate,
00:14:55and it was really not so much a matter of
00:14:58if they'd be at the front,
00:14:59it was which one would be at the front,
00:15:00and that's clearly been the case.
00:15:02Great job by Jan Magnussen,
00:15:04who's become an absolute swell.
00:15:06We always knew he was a superstar,
00:15:07remember him in his single-seater days in Formula 3,
00:15:10being touted as the next centre,
00:15:12and certainly his performances there
00:15:14indicated that would be the case.
00:15:16Had a bit of a rough time when he got to F1,
00:15:18but re-established himself
00:15:20as the single-seater sports car superstar.
00:15:23We look at the Essex team,
00:15:25the green and white Porsche
00:15:26that is leading its class
00:15:28with Manuel Collard on board,
00:15:30but about to be a driver change.
00:15:33Yeah, I don't think he had,
00:15:36how can I put it,
00:15:36the personality that clicked there.
00:15:39Finishing up that class,
00:15:41the other Corvette of Fassler,
00:15:44number 64.
00:15:45That's a good, quick car,
00:15:47Marcel Fassler, 32 years old,
00:15:49going very well in that car.
00:15:50That's not one of the actual American engines,
00:15:52which is really good, actually.
00:15:53I like to see them do well.
00:15:55We're on board,
00:15:57the Peugeot once again.
00:15:58You can hear that
00:15:59diesel beat.
00:16:02It's like a low sort of thrumming sound,
00:16:06is it?
00:16:06When you stand outside,
00:16:07we've got a balcony
00:16:08just near where our commentary position,
00:16:10which overlooks the start-finish rate.
00:16:12You stand outside,
00:16:12and one of the things
00:16:13that I think impresses people
00:16:15who are new to Le Mans
00:16:16is the different sounds
00:16:18and smells and vibrations
00:16:20and everything that you get
00:16:21from different classes
00:16:22and the Peugeots and the Audis
00:16:24kind of whistle past
00:16:25this wonderful sort of silent efficiency.
00:16:28You have this thunder,
00:16:31you can only describe it,
00:16:32that the Corvettes provide.
00:16:33You can feel,
00:16:34even we're on the sixth floor,
00:16:36you can feel the vibration
00:16:37from that wonderful old-school
00:16:39American engine,
00:16:42much like you used to get
00:16:42with the Panos cars
00:16:43when they were racing here
00:16:45a few years ago.
00:16:45And then you have the stream
00:16:47of the petrol engine P cars
00:16:49and the very distinctive roar
00:16:52that you get from the Aston,
00:16:54the Paul Drayson Aston
00:16:57and the Jet Alliance cars.
00:16:58So that's one of the things,
00:16:59it's that sensory experience
00:17:00that you get with Le Mans
00:17:02that you don't get
00:17:03with certain forms
00:17:04of single-seater racing.
00:17:06So now, the creation car,
00:17:08Jamie Campbell Walter on board.
00:17:09We've seen it had problems
00:17:10earlier on with what looked
00:17:12to be like a suspension issue
00:17:14or something certainly working.

01:06:13difference in speed between the lmp1 cars and the gt2 cars
01:06:17coming through that gentle left hand kink
01:06:20it's very very easy for the two drivers to potentially lose sight of each other and what
01:06:24is a really fairly easy first part of the corner so only when they get into the last bit where they're
01:06:28going to break into the sorry into the right hand kink into the left hander which is the first part
01:06:33that you can then it becomes a bit more complicated because the car's a bit unbalanced the back's going
01:06:37a little bit light yeah well that's going to take a bit of tidying up i don't think it's going to
01:06:41bring a pace car out but then i suppose that's what's known as commentator's curse isn't it it is
01:06:47you say it won't and out it comes i don't know nine car still in the pits that's in now in 31st position
01:06:54yeah that's the two driver aston yeah still dropping back peter cox in the car yeah with
01:07:01tremendous amount of experience of course and he's going to need every bit of it and every bit of his
01:07:07energy as well um driving of course because currently we we are still the jury's out on what
01:07:16the weather's going to do tomorrow but i think it's going to be hot if we do have any rain i think it'll
01:07:21be thunderous rain rather than should we say a drizzly shower or something like that but we shall see
01:07:27that's my view well well there's a marshal there who thinks that he's got enough power to push that
01:07:33ferrari and i have news for him he hasn't no it's uh we love a bit of enthusiasm and the marshals here
01:07:39as as they are most racetracks are very keen nicolau prosten the car of course uh has raced here before
01:07:46in the orca saline uh with um yes his father was here yesterday um and uh no wednesday wednesday and
01:07:56thursday to be precise and um so was nigel mansell and uh the two rivals from their grand prix days of uh
01:08:06for my teammates of course and teammates indeed when they were at ferrari uh we're obviously quite
01:08:11pleased to see each other um both now uh well i suppose past the days when uh we would see the race but
01:08:23mansell of course uh was out not that long ago and showing that frankly he'd lost very little of his
01:08:30skill and his ability and determination yeah a friend of mine was involved uh i won't mention
01:08:36it he was involved in one of the test sessions that he did recently in one of the sports cars
01:08:41and uh said that in the car he is still incredibly quick he's still got every bit of fire in his belly
01:08:47that he had before so has a tremendous uh level of of commitment uh very demanding as he always has
01:08:55been but then again the best racing drivers well a lot of people yeah a lot of people disagree with
01:09:00me when i say that probably of the underrated talents nigel was one of them he was a very worthy
01:09:07world champion absolutely there wasn't a single driver who nigel believed that he couldn't cope with
01:09:16i'm not going to argue with that and half of it in in motorsport as in life is if you believe you can
01:09:22do it then you're halfway there to achieving it is one of the most important things and uh i think
01:09:27there's there's a uh we talked very briefly about janetta juniors there's my son jake racing there the team
01:09:32boston mike flounders has a great saying he says just remember winners never quit and quitters never
01:09:37win and that's kind of pretty much a mantra to live by in motorsport i think if you really want to
01:09:42achieve something it can be done it's never ever going to be easy but it can be done if you really
01:09:46apply yourself these guys it's a great example of that the easiest thing to be say right now lads we've
01:09:51had a good good go the the car the other cars are doing well let's put her in the truck it's more or
01:09:56less in one piece um valiant effort but unlucky cops it's out of the car now yes doesn't look good
01:10:02that excuse me um doesn't look good i could just simply because they need to get access to something
01:10:08which is uh let's just like that's all it is but you know while the driver's sitting in it you feel
01:10:13that there is hope of uh a complete recovery when he gets out you sort of think to yourself wine
01:10:19going is there trouble at mill yeah that's sort of gentle trudge category leaders yeah i don't know
01:10:26that's the nine car brabham verts and uh jenay then the rs which is the essex car of uh sasha
01:10:33must no it's not it's emmanuel collard of course who is uh the the lead driver in that particular car
01:10:39i'm keeping an eye on what happens right when verts as it is in this case makes a stop
01:10:46and magnesia is still out and i've noticed that over the last shall we say hour and a half
01:10:55the actual time difference between the cars is coming down a bit now don't get excited yet but it
01:11:07might be indicative of the fact that uh should we put it this way it ain't over till the fat lady sings
01:11:15and uh there's not an ounce of fat on magnish that's very very true if ever when we saw it at
01:11:21sebring i mean really it was the alan mcness show that was the reason why audi won at sebring more
01:11:26than anything else they had such a tremendous run with alan he's inspired isn't he when when he gets
01:11:31one of those moves on him again the guy is a formula one driver end-off story yeah he's that level as
01:11:37christensen is as dindo capello potentially could have been and you know these guys
01:11:41yeah of course alan did race briefly in f1 for toyota but one has to look and say well look he
01:11:49raced the toyota look at toyota today they have a car that's quick today but still at the end of the
01:11:55day toyota haven't in spite of the millions of pounds that they've poured in being able to get a firm grip on
01:12:03the middle exactly but the point really be it is that the standard of drivers that are of that uh
01:12:09of that now we've just seen very quickly just to in case anybody missed that the the class positions
01:12:15we've talked a little lot about who's doing what and where and why and when so let's just very quickly
01:12:20update you on on the lmp2 class at the moment is the number 31 essex porsche that has been so strong
01:12:28for so long caspar elgaard the very talented danish driver on board at the moment sharing that car
01:12:34with emmanuel collard and christian paulsen 185 laps has a three-lap lead at the moment
01:12:40over the number five team go car which is sexy ara and kunimoto and also uh sasha masson and then
01:12:48the 33 speedy seba car which is currently being driven by benjamin loinberger in the other categories
01:12:55in the gt1 class well it's been pretty much all about the corvettes as we kind of expected it to be
01:13:02and the situation at the moment with the corvettes is that the leading corvette or the car leading
01:13:08its class and uh fastest overall at the moment is the 63 car of uh young magnus at the moment running
01:13:15in 19th position overall uh which is and he's just ahead of the his teammate oliver govin in the 64 car
01:13:23third in class is another corvette the young clary car of the lucan font adventures car lmp2 or rather
01:13:30gt2 however has been pretty competitive and pretty crazy from the outset and it still is the same
01:13:37very close is pierre kaffer on board of the rissi competizione ferrari ahead of a tremendous job the
01:13:4292 jmw car being driven by british drivers andrew kakodi robert bell and tim suggdon 168 laps just a
01:13:50lap down and then the third position car is the number 97 uh car of bm scuderia italia fabio babini
01:14:00matteo manucelli and paolo roberti and that is just ahead of the patrick long porsche so very much
01:14:09about ferrari as it was last year and that category nevland we seem to have seen a bit of a settling down
01:14:15of things in the last little bit of time yes i'm just watching the work that's going on here on your
01:14:19screen at the moment which would indicate to me that all is not quite well in the state of denmark
01:14:31sounds like there's something that they're having to tuck away at great deals this is of course the
01:14:36seven car which has had the lion's share of the of the problems that perjot have had started with
01:14:45that collision early on with the uh pescarola perjot right at the beginning of the day and life's not
01:14:52easy is it there's they've said that's it okay fine it's back in the race but that was a longer stop than
01:15:00i anticipated that they thought they were going to have and i'm just having a quick look to see
01:15:08uh it's dropped them down behind the other audi and all those places we'll look at again

01:17:20I'm Neville Hay, Simon Hill with me.
01:17:23And now he's got his finger on the button.
01:17:25He'll not only be with you, he'll be talking to us in just a minute or two.

01:17:29And we watched the Drayson race.
01:17:30What a wonderful fairy tale that is of Paul Drayson getting himself past.
01:17:35He's medically fit because of a problem with his vision in one of his eyes.
01:17:39He wasn't allowed to race by the ACO, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, to manage things here in Le Mans.
01:17:44But finally he got the okay and sharing the car with the wonderfully talented mariner Frank Kitty and Johnny Cocker.
01:17:51And they've been doing a very solid job with that car.
01:17:54And let's have a little look down our screens and see exactly where those guys are sitting currently at the moment in their class.
01:18:01Of course, it's a GT2 car as opposed to the GT1 cars that we're used to seeing running regularly at the front there.
01:18:10They're currently sitting 39th overall.
01:18:14And let me have a little look.
01:18:15One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
01:18:18Ninth in class.
01:18:19And probably was the most, still the most open and competitive class of the lot at the moment now.
01:18:24But I think that's a class that we're going to need to watch a little bit more interest.
01:18:28We see Romain Dumas taking over from Timo Bernhardt.
01:18:32Of course, they've been working together at Porsche in the ALMS Series for some time in that magnificent Penske run DHL Porsche Spyder.
01:18:43Yeah, they're a long way back following their trials, troubles and tribulations.
01:18:49But the enthusiasm from the team waiting to do the work, from the drivers leaping in and out, is still there in spite of that.
01:18:58And I think that's something that it's good to see that they're anxious to make up as much ground as they possibly can.
01:19:05And you were talking about the eye problems that have been, shall we say, the subject of discussion.
01:19:14And I have to point out yesterday when this came up, or no, it wasn't yesterday, it was first time when this came up,
01:19:21that there are a number of drivers, starting with Dr. Helmut Marker,
01:19:24who decided that he would not continue with the Formula One career following an eye injury in a race.
01:19:30Yep.
01:19:30But Johnny Cerver-Garvin also had eye problems, and I can think of at least four other drivers of international stature
01:19:39who only had vision in one eye.
01:19:41So it's not something new, it's just something that, I suppose, in this safety-conscious world that we have,
01:19:50it appeals to people to get a large stick and stir the pudding.
01:19:54Yes, it does indeed, and I think, obviously, we live in the world of health and safety now,
01:20:00and everybody likes to blame somebody else for something else.
01:20:02It's never everybody else's, anybody else's own fault for things.
01:20:05So I think people like to sometimes say, well, you know, is that necessarily the safest thing, and blah, blah.
01:20:10But the guy can obviously drive at a decent level.
01:20:12I mean, by his own admission, he's not a professional racing driver.
01:20:15He's a guy that's worked very hard to get himself in a position to be able to fund the programme,
01:20:22and he's doing a really, really good job of enjoying his racing and being as competitive as possible.
01:20:26Yeah, I think, you know, we are very conscious of it.
01:20:28It's gone beyond the album and the line, hasn't it?
01:20:30And they stick with the sources that handle and somebody having to be summoned.
01:20:33That's the problem.
01:20:34And it has got a bit silly.
01:20:37But there you go.
01:20:39I think, you know, we look at Le Mans over the years, of course,
01:20:42the scene of the most unpleasant and horrific accident of all time in motorsport in 1955.
01:20:49And there was a case back in the day which was effectively caused by closing speeds.
01:20:53We had the Mercedes, which were the prototypes of their day.
01:20:57And at the moment,
