00:01Estonia has requested NATO Article 4 consultations after three Russian fighter jets entered its airspace for several minutes on Friday.
00:09The jets lingered for 12 minutes over the Gulf of Finland, Estonian officials said, with their transponders switched off.
00:17Estonia's foreign minister said the incident was a brazen attempt by Russia to test the boundaries of the NATO military alliance.
00:24The incident is the third time Russian assets have entered the airspace of a NATO member country in recent weeks.
00:30On Sunday, Romania said a drone from Moscow breached its airspace during an air raid on Ukraine,
00:35just one week after Poland shot down an unprecedented number of Russian drones over its skies.
00:43Fifteen people have been charged over an alleged Russia-backed operation that planned arson attacks across Europe,
00:49Lithuanian prosecutors said on Wednesday.
00:52According to authorities, the plot was led by suspects with ties to the GRU, Russia's military intelligence service.
00:58The network allegedly hit home-made bombs inside parcels sent via couriers like DHL and DPD.

01:17A British couple held in Afghanistan for more than seven months are finally on their way home.
01:27Their release on Friday comes after high-level negotiations between the UK and Taliban, mediated by Qatar.
01:34It's being hailed as a clear example of how diplomacy can ease tensions, even during times of conflict.
01:4080-year-old Peter Reynolds and his 76-year-old wife Barbie had lived in Afghanistan for nearly two decades, running educational programs.
01:48The couple, who are Afghan citizens, chose to remain in the country after the Taliban returned to power in 2021.
01:56In February, they were detained on undisclosed charges.
01:59Actually, it's a continuous effort by my government to keep our policy in helping releasing hostages and our mediation and diplomacy.

03:32Search teams pulled 25 bodies from a mass grave in a Damascus suburb on Friday, one of the largest grim remnants of Syria's long civil war.
03:41The site is believed to contain at least 175 people killed in a 2014 ambush by the forces of then-president Bashar Assad as they fled eastern Ghouta.
03:52Family members with missing loved ones came to the site for answers, including Samira Alush, who was looking for her son Anas.
04:01She had hoped he was alive in prison, but on Friday she found out a different answer.
04:05The White Helmet Civil Defense Group says full excavation will wait for a formal process to be agreed by the National Commission for Missing Persons.
04:26This is just one of many mass graves being uncovered since Assad's fall, with an estimated 150,000 people still missing from the war.
