00:41Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack at various regions across Ukraine early on Saturday, killing at least three and wounding dozens of others.
00:51Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia launched over 600 drones and missiles, which targeted nine regions across the country.
00:59He added that Moscow targeted Ukraine's infrastructure as well as residential areas.
01:05Meanwhile, Kyiv has continued its attacks on Russia's oil industry, striking two oil refineries in Russia's Saratov and Samara regions.
01:15The attacks come as part of Kyiv's wider campaign in targeting Russian oil and gas infrastructure, which Zelensky claims is a key income source that is funding Russia's war against Ukraine.
01:26On Friday, the European Commission proposed a fresh round of sanctions on Russia, including on its liquefied natural gas.
01:33Zelensky welcomed the additional sanctions, saying it targets the key engines of the war economy.
01:38A cyberattack at major airports in Europe, including in Brussels, London and Berlin, disrupted air traffic and caused delays on Saturday.
01:51The cyberattack targeted an external provider that handles airport check-in and boarding systems rather than specific airlines or airports themselves.
02:01They can still use the computer, but they have to connect a lot of information.
02:05The seat number, the baggage and boarding passes will be filled by some of them manually.
02:10So that is a complex system than usable, which unfortunately affects the delays and annuling of flights.
02:17Brussels airport says the incident had a large impact on flight schedules, with longer waiting times, several delays and some flight cancellations.
02:26Authorities at Berlin's Brandenburg Airport said operators had cut off connections to the affected systems on Friday.
02:33The airport did not face any cancellations, but did warn passengers for delays.
02:38Meanwhile, London Heathrow Airport, Europe's busiest, also reported no cancellations and said disruptions had been minimal.
02:48Search teams pulled 25 bodies from a mass grave in a Damascus suburb on Friday, one of the largest grim remnants of Syria's long civil war.
02:55The site is believed to contain at least 175 people killed in a 2014 ambush by the forces of then-President Bashar Assad as they fled eastern Ghouta.
03:08Family members with missing loved ones came to the site for answers, including Samira Alush, who was looking for her son Anas.
03:16She had hoped he was alive in prison, but on Friday she found out a different answer.
03:21The White Helmet Civil Defense Group says full excavation will wait for a formal process to be agreed by the National Commission for Missing Persons.
03:29This is just one of many mass graves being uncovered since Assad's fall, with an estimated 150,000 people still missing from the war.
03:48Six years after the devastating fire, the towers of Notre-Dame-de-Paris Cathedral are reopened to the public this Saturday.
04:04Suspended since the fire in April 2019, the tour has been completely redesigned.
04:11It now features a grand double staircase in solid oak, inspired by Chateau de Chambault, to guide visitors up to 424 steps.
04:20At the top, 69 meters high, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views of Paris, and a close-up look at the famous gargoyles and the cathedral's bells.
04:31They can also admire the new oak framework known as the forest, which was rebuilt after being devastated by figures.
04:39French President Emmanuel Macron was the first to make the new ascent on Friday.
04:43Public demand is huge. Tickets for the opening weekend during the European Heritage Day sold out in just 24 minutes.
