00:41Bulgaria's defense ministry said the type of drone was one that was used widely by the Ukrainian
00:45military. In response, the foreign minister has called in Ukraine's ambassador for a meeting on
00:51Monday. A Ukrainian foreign ministry spokesperson said the Ukrainian military was looking into the
00:57incident but that it did not deliberately target Bulgaria. Meanwhile, an investigation is underway,
01:03regional authorities have said.
01:16The explosion caused no casualties. However, Bulgarian prime minister Drumen Radev said the drone was
01:22carrying significant explosives. The drone crashed in a sunflower field just one kilometer from the
01:28compressor station of the trans-Balkan gas pipeline, an international energy hub connecting Turkey,
01:34Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
01:41Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received an honor guard welcome on Saturday, kicking off his
01:48official visit to Serbia. The Ukrainian leader then proceeded to meet with Serbian counterpart
01:53Alexander Vucic at the presidential palace. The talks come as Ukraine seeks to strengthen
01:59international support amid Russia's ongoing and intensifying strikes. As part of the visit,
02:05the two nations signed a memorandum of understanding in which Vucic said Ukraine and Serbia will soon
02:11deliver a free trade deal. This free trade agreement is of an utmost importance for our country with Ukraine
02:21and we're going to work hard and I believe that swiftly and efficiently will deliver it to our people.
02:28Serbia is one of the few European countries that continues to maintain close ties with Moscow and has
02:34repeatedly refused to impose tougher sanctions against Russia. Belgrade is seeking to balance this
02:40relationship with Moscow against pressure from the European Union to align with the bloc's foreign policy.
02:46By hosting Zelenskyy, Vucic is therefore sending a strong signal to the EU, but also to Russia.

04:11The statement comes shortly after a British newspaper, the Daily Telegraph, raised questions about an
04:16exit package paid by UEFA to a female staffer, while Infantino was its general secretary.
04:23The newspaper claims a woman received a six-figure sum as a payoff from UEFA after an alleged love
04:29affair with Infantino. FIFA has now accused critics of trying to weaken Infantino's authority and remove
04:37him from office without due process.
