00:00So we just got some major news for Dandadan.

00:02So today, September 18th, the final episode of Season 2 concluded,

00:06and pretty much straight after we got a confirmation on Season 3.

00:09So as soon as we head to the website, it shows this illustration confirming Season 3.

00:14When we go to the page, it states,

00:15The production of the third season of the TV anime Dandadan has been announced.

00:20Along with the announcement of the third season,

00:22visuals featuring Momo, Okaroon, and Turbo Baba have also been released.

00:27And at the bottom it says, Using the giant Buddha robot and everyone's abilities,

00:31Momo and her friends defeat the space monster.

00:34Since the monster has shrunk after being defeated,

00:36they can't just leave it in the middle of town,

00:38so Okaroon and Gigi carry it to Momo's house.

00:41Okaroon notices that the space monster has a zipper,

00:43and when he unzips it, a beautiful girl appears.

00:46The beautiful girl then kisses Okaroon, who is right in front of her as she wakes up.

00:50Momo witnesses the two kissing, and this is where the second season of the anime came to a close.

00:55Anticipation is building for the third season,

00:57as we find out who the beautiful girl is, and why she was inside the monster.

01:01So this is teasing a setup for the new season with the space globalist arc,

01:05and is also known as the space kaiju arc,

01:07because a short story called the Kaiju arc precedes this one.

01:10The globalist arc runs from roughly chapter 72 to 120.

01:14This arc is the seventh story arc of the manga series,

01:17and the seventh story arc of the Kintama Hunt saga.

01:20So the gist of the arc is about the family,

01:22which comes under sudden assault by the Kur, who are alien globalists,

01:25who have plans to summon their full invasion force to Earth.
