00:00Hi, welcome back. I Fiyaja. Since winter is setting in, I shall teach you how to make the kajal halwa.
00:16So let's start.
00:192 cups of grated carrots. Toss it.
00:30It's well tossed. Now add in 2 cups of milk.
00:36Carrots and the milk to cook will at least take 5 to 8 minutes.
00:47The milk is thickening and I will add in some poppy seeds as well as cardamom powder.
00:53Add in 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds.
00:56And 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
01:01I am adding in the poppy seeds first so that it gets cooked properly otherwise it remains a little raw.
01:08The milk is nearly cooking up totally. It's becoming more like a khoya.
01:13To this, I will add in 50 grams of khoya.
01:26To this mixture, I will add in 1 tablespoon of pure ghee.
01:38We will add in some sugar. 2 tablespoons.
01:40Add in 1 teaspoon of chopped pistachios.
01:501 teaspoon of chopped almonds.
01:53And 1 teaspoon of half broken cashew.
01:55The rajal halwa is nearly done. It will take 2 to 3 minutes more.

02:15Garnish it with some pistachios.
