00:00hi guys today I'm going to teach you how to make mutton pulao which is something like a biryani
00:09but not a biryani ancestors called it mutton pulao they used to mix both the rice and the
00:15cooked mutton together and they used to serve it as a meal so I shall teach you how to make
00:25mutton pulao not biryani so let's start I took half a kilo of biryani mutton
00:32one cup of caramelized onions crushed half a cup of curd
00:55one teaspoon grounded ginger one teaspoon grounded garlic
01:08one teaspoon grounded green chilies
01:17one teaspoon garam masala
01:22two teaspoons of red chilli powder
01:29half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
01:37two teaspoons of mutton masala
01:44two tablespoons of chopped mint leaves
01:54three tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves
02:01and some salt to taste
02:10mix all the ingredients well
02:16see that the mutton is well coated with all the masalas

02:35and now I leave it to rest for three hours

02:41and now we should start proceeding forward by making the gravy of the mutton pulao
02:46take a pan heat it
02:50the pan has become nice and hot
02:52put in around two to three tablespoons of oil
02:55two chopped onions
02:59saute the onion to a nice brown color which will take around five to six minutes
03:17now I will add in the marinated mutton pieces to the onions
03:36add in half cup of water
03:48cover and cook for minimum 45 minutes to one hour
04:03it's almost done it's nearly 45 minutes are over and the mutton is nearly cooked
04:16I will just check it
04:18oh it's well cooked
04:20the mutton
04:25wow what a beautiful flavour
04:27from the pan to the mouth
04:29I have very little rice so I am removing the extra mutton into another bowl
04:42now I add in the steamed rice
04:44I will add in one tablespoon of ghee to this
05:04cover it
05:05and put it on slow flame
05:09and cook for another 10 minutes
05:14wow it's nearly the aroma and the flavours
05:25I can't wait to eat it
05:29just see how beautiful it looks
05:32I am just remembering my grand mom today
05:37because it's really looking very yummy
05:39she used to make the same kind of pulae
05:42which I still love it
05:44I learnt the recipe from my mom
05:46and I do it at home regularly
05:48now let's do the plating
05:50here the yummy and delicious
05:53mutton pulae is ready
06:03garnish it with chopped coriander leaves
