00:00Anchored in Hope
00:07Holding on to God's Promises
00:09Have you ever felt the promises of God were taking too long?
00:14You prayed, you believed, but the breakthrough still hasn't come.
00:18The Bible says hope deferred makes the heart sick.
00:21But when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
00:25Proverbs 13 verse 12
00:27But here's the truth.
00:29Biblical hope is not wishful thinking.
00:32It's a confident expectation in a God who never fails.
00:36Just like Abraham, who believed against all hope,
00:40we too can anchor ourselves in God's promises
00:43even when circumstances scream the opposite.
00:48Today, we want to show you how to hold on to real living hope.
00:54A hope that sustains you in waiting,
00:57strengthens you in weakness,
01:00and anchors you through every storm.
01:03Anchored in hope, holding on to God's promises.
01:06Want to know more?
01:08Hang around.
01:09Welcome.
01:14Welcome to Lion's Roar 3.8 Ministries.
01:17Amos 3.8 tells us,
01:19A lion has roared, or the lion has roared.
01:21Who will not fear?
01:22The Lord God has spoken.
01:24Who can but prophesy?
01:26My name is George Magalhães and we are an apostolic ministry with a prophetic teaching edge.
01:32It is our passion, our mission to reignite, equip, and release Christ-like disciples,
01:37both locally and globally.
01:39We do that through our itinerant ministry,
01:41but as well as providing with resources just like this one,
01:44to help you, to aid you in your God-given calling.
01:47Today, we've got a great topic.
01:51Anchored in hope, bringing us to our main verse.
01:55And our main verse comes from the book of Proverbs, chapter 13, verse 12.
02:01So Proverbs 13, verse 12, reading from the Amplified Classic Version.
02:06Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
02:09but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
02:14Amen, amen.
02:18All right, we had some technical difficulties at the beginning.
02:21Yes.
02:23Enlightening difficulties, just to add to the challenges.
02:27Nevertheless, we are here.
02:30We are here today.
02:30We've got a great word for you.
02:32We've got my lovely wife, which is Prophet Sabrina as well,
02:37and we've got a great and encouraging word for you.
02:40Hope is one of the greatest treasures God gives us,
02:47yet it is also one of the most attacked areas of our faith,
02:52what we just spoke, what we spent the last 20 minutes speaking about.
02:55It's an attack on our hope.
02:58It's to cause fear.
02:59It's an attack on our identity.
03:01It's to cause fear.
03:03It's to bring down our hope, to take away hope,
03:07and to establish hopelessness.
03:09But that is not our portion, amen?
03:11Amen.
03:12Our faith can feel shaken, and despair tries to creep in.
03:16However, that's why the word says,
03:18hope deferred makes the heart sick.
03:21Proverbs 13, verse 12.
03:23But God doesn't leave us empty-handed.
03:25He has given us a living hope through Christ Jesus.
03:30A hope that never disappoints, Romans 5, verse 5.
03:34This hope is not based on the economy, our emotions, or human effort.
03:40It's anchored in the unchanging promises of God.
03:44Abraham's life is proof of this.
03:46Against all odds, age, barrenness, and impossibilities,
03:49he chose to believe God's word.
03:51That's the kind of hope we're called to carry.
03:53Not a fragile wish, but a confident assurance
03:58that what God has spoken, he can perform.
04:02And here's the key.
04:04Hope is not just something we wait for in the future.
04:08It's something we live out now.
04:12We live out now.
04:15It's choosing gratitude for what God has already done,
04:18meditating on his word,
04:20and remembering his faithfulness,
04:21and using what he has already placed in our hands.
04:26So in this study, we're going to uncover
04:28how biblical hope strengthens us,
04:30how it ties together every blessing of God,
04:34and how we can walk forward fully convinced,
04:37just like Abraham,
04:39that God will do what he has promised.
04:42The following other titles and subtitles
04:44we'll be discussing today.
04:46Number one.
04:47Abraham, hope against hope.
04:50Though we got God's promise in impossible situation,
04:53faith that grows stronger through waiting.
04:56Number two.
04:57The power of biblical richness,
04:58where we will mention and cover spiritual wealth in Christ,
05:03family and daily provision as gifts of God,
05:06material blessings for his purposes,
05:09hope as the foundation that secures it all.
05:12Number three.
05:13Focusing on the hope we already have,
05:15where we will discuss,
05:16remember God's faithfulness,
05:18past testimonies,
05:19guard our thoughts and meditate on his word,
05:22and lastly choose gratitude in the presence.
05:25Number four.
05:25Using what God has already provided.
05:28Faith, word, Holy Spirit, prayer,
05:31and the body of Christ.
05:33Number five.
05:33We'll use living analogies of hope in daily life,
05:37like hope as daily bread,
05:39hope as safe dwelling,
05:41hope in family love,
05:42and hope as seed of calling and destiny.
05:44Number six will be our summary.
05:46And finally, number seven.
05:48A declaration.
05:49Our declaration prayer.
05:51All right.
05:51Let's fire away.
05:52Number one.
05:54Abraham, hope against hope.
05:56Abraham, hope against hope.
05:58Okay.
05:58So Abraham's story is one of the clearest pictures of hope in the Bible.
06:02God promised him descendants as numerous as the stars.
06:07Genesis 15, verses five to six.
06:10Despite his advanced age,
06:12and yes, he was pretty old,
06:14and that's what some of us feel like.
06:16Amen.
06:17We're waiting.
06:17We're waiting.
06:18Lord, I'm not getting younger.
06:19Come on.
06:21And Sarah's barrenness.
06:22Abraham believed against all hope,
06:26focusing on God's promise rather than his physical limitations.
06:29Romans 4, verses 18 to 21.
06:32Now, his faith did not weaken.
06:35He remained fully convinced that God had the power to fulfill his promise.
06:41As a result, Isaac was born,
06:44demonstrating that hope anchored in God moves us forward,
06:48even when circumstances seem impossible.
06:50Abraham's hope was not based on what he saw or his own strength,
06:56but was firmly anchored in God's promise.
07:00Right.
07:01Bible verse to confirm that.
07:02Romans 4, verses 18 to 21.
07:05A.M.P.C.
07:06Right.
07:06For Abraham, human reason for hope being gone,
07:11hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations,
07:15as he had been promised.
07:19So, numberless shall your descendant be.
07:23He did not weaken in faith when he considered the utter impotence of his own body,
07:29which was as good as dead,
07:31because he was about a hundred years old.
07:35Or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's,
07:38don't move it too much,
07:40dead and womb.
07:43No unbelief or distrust made him waver,
07:45doubtingly questioned concerning the promise of God.
07:49But he grew strong and was empowered by faith,
07:53as he gave praise and glory to God,
07:55fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep his word
08:02and to do what he had promised.
08:05So, imagine a ship in a storm.
08:08The waves are fierce,
08:10the wind is howling,
08:12but the anchor keeps the ship from drifting away.
08:16That's what hope in Christ does for us.
08:19Hebrews 6, verse 19.
08:21Without it, we will drift into despair.
08:25With it, we stay steady,
08:27even in the biggest storms.
08:29Amen?
08:29Amen.
08:30All right, number two,
08:31the power of biblical richness.
08:34Yes.
08:35Understanding biblical richness is important
08:37because it is deeply connected to hope.
08:40Now, biblical richness is about having a full and balanced life
08:45that includes spiritual blessing in Christ,
08:47love and family as a gift from God,
08:49provision as well of daily needs,
08:52peaceful rest,
08:53and material provision from God.
08:55Now, hope is what holds all these blessings together,
08:59giving us strength and preventing despair,
09:02even in difficult times.
09:05It reminds us that our richness is not just about possession or circumstances.
09:10Very, very, listen to that again.
09:12It reminds us that our richness is not just about possession or circumstances,
09:18but about trusting in God's faithfulness,
09:22faithful promises,
09:23and his presence in every part of our life.
09:27So, we have to understand the world,
09:29when the world talk about richness
09:32and what the Bible talk about richness is a little bit different.
09:36So, biblical richness is holistic.
09:39Holistic means comprehensive, universal, whole, complete.
09:43Spiritual richness,
09:45Christ in us,
09:47you can see that in Colossians 1, 27.
09:50Family and loved ones,
09:52a heritage from the Lord,
09:54Psalm 127, verse 3.
09:57Food on the table,
09:59daily bread provided,
10:01Matthew 6, 11.
10:03A home and rest.
10:06Some of us hoped we had a better home,
10:09but you still have a home and rest, somewhat.
10:12God gives peace and dwelling,
10:16Psalm 4, verse 8.
10:18Material needs,
10:19God supplies needs,
10:21Philippians 4, verse 19.
10:24Hope ties all these blessings together,
10:28keeping us from despair and lifting us toward God's promises.
10:33So, let me give you a life analogy.
10:37Imagine hope as the foundation of a house,
10:40without strong foundation,
10:41the house, no matter how beautiful or well furnished,
10:44it cannot stand firm against any storm.
10:48So, similarly,
10:49biblical richness is like the well-built house,
10:53supported by hope,
10:55making sure that all parts of life,
10:57faith,
10:58family,
10:59provision,
10:59and peace,
11:00stand secure and flourish,
11:02because they rest on the unwavering promise and faithfulness of God.
11:08This hope encourages us to embrace the full blessing of richness in every area of our lives.
11:19All right.
11:19So, number three,
11:22focusing on the hope we already have.
11:25So, how do we then deal with some bits of our life looks like there's hope in it,
11:30some bit doesn't?
11:31It's focused on the hope that we already have.
11:34See, hope is essential for a strong and enduring faith journey.
11:38Philippians chapter 3 verse 13 to 14 teaches that we must forget past setbacks
11:45and keep pressing forward toward our spiritual goal driven by hope.
11:50Whereas,
11:51Romans 5 chapter 3 verse 5 says,
11:54it shows that hope grows through endurance,
11:57shaping our character and strengthening us.
12:00Hebrews 12 verse 2 emphasizes,
12:02fixing our eyes on Jesus,
12:04the author and finisher of our faith,
12:06who is the source and fulfillment of hope.
12:08Together,
12:11they reveal that hope is a confident expectation rooted in God's promises,
12:17empowering us to persevere and remain focused on Christ throughout life's challenges.
12:25Right?
12:26All right.
12:27So, let's go to A.
12:29We're still in this section,
12:31in section 3.
12:32Yep.
12:33In part 3,
12:34but let's cover a little bit more in depth.
12:36That's right.
12:37In section A of part 3,
12:40which is remember God's faithfulness.
12:42So,
12:43remembering the past testimonies.
12:45So,
12:46we must remember God's faithfulness,
12:49past and present,
12:51not forgetting His goodness towards us.
12:54This is so crucial.
12:55Psalm 77,
12:5611 to 12.
12:58I will earnestly recall the deeds of the Lord.
13:01Yes,
13:01I will earnestly remember the wonders
13:03you performed for our fathers of old.
13:06I will meditate also upon all your works
13:09and consider all your mighty deeds.
13:11Now,
13:14I wanted to give you guys a testimony for it,
13:17instead of a life analogies.
13:21There are so many of them.
13:23So,
13:23I will talk about how God multiply our finance.
13:26Right?
13:27So,
13:27basically,
13:28I remember there was a time where George came back from the conference.
13:32Do you remember that one?
13:33Oh,
13:33yeah.
13:34Do you want me to say it?
13:35You said that because I can then tell you how I remembered it and applied it again.
13:40Okay.
13:41So,
13:41I went to a conference in France and I still remember here in Melbourne.
13:45Well,
13:45in Melbourne.
13:46We're not in Melbourne anymore.
13:47I love you.
13:48We're in the desert.
13:56All right.
13:57I went to a conference where a minister passed.
14:03I think it's a pastor.
14:04Epi Limignana,
14:06who's a Spanish minister.
14:08He's still ministering,
14:09by the way,
14:09in Spain.
14:10Epi Limignana,
14:11he was doing a conference,
14:12I think,
14:12for three days.
14:14And he was praying over people.
14:15There was miracles,
14:16signs and wonders.
14:17There was a lot of things happening,
14:19including multiplication of money.
14:21I saw it with my own eyes in the conference.
14:24People were getting money multiplying in their wallet.
14:26And most of the time,
14:28this miracle that was happening,
14:31was happening without them asking for it.
14:35It was just happening.
14:37And I remember coming home and talking to my wife and saying,
14:40you know,
14:40the money that they had,
14:42you just start appearing in their wallet.
14:44I was so excited going,
14:45wow,
14:45that's amazing.
14:47And do you want to say your part?
14:49No,
14:50then you say what happened to us.
14:51And then from what I can remember,
14:53I can't remember the whole story exactly,
14:54but I remember then looking at my wallet and going,
14:57I had 20 bucks in my wallet.
14:59And then I went back to it.
15:00As I was talking to my wife,
15:02I went back to it.
15:02I had 40 bucks in my wallet.
15:04Now you would say,
15:05I just forgot about it,
15:06George.
15:07No,
15:07I didn't.
15:09No,
15:09I didn't.
15:10I,
15:11because trust me,
15:12I knew exactly what was in my wallet because at the time we were struggling
15:16and I did not have more than 20 bucks.
15:18So I was very careful with what I would go and spend my money on.
15:22And I did not spend anything.
15:23So when I came home,
15:24I knew I still had 20 bucks in my wallet.
15:26And then as I'm talking to my wife and talking and testifying of these
15:30miracles,
15:3120 bucks more appeared in my wallet.
15:34So now I had $40 in my wallet.
15:38God done it like that without me even asking for it.
15:42How cool is that?
15:44Now for those who's heard us for a long time,
15:47even who were in our church before,
15:49I love the fact that when God does miracles like that and I learned from it,
15:54I love learning from those miracles and I will teach my kids as well.
15:58Now here's the thing from then on.
15:59Anyway,
16:00we've had a lot of miracles of finance from seeing money on the,
16:03on the street because we needed to go and do grocery while walking there.
16:06I remember we get money on the street for our groceries,
16:09but this one,
16:11um,
16:11um,
16:12I wanted to teach my kids about it.
16:14So we had a box where we would put money and sometimes even if my parents
16:19will come,
16:19they will also bless my kids by putting money in that box.
16:22And then by the end of the Christmas,
16:25my,
16:25um,
16:25close to Christmas,
16:26my kids will take out all those changes or all those money and they will
16:30count it.
16:31And then of course that's,
16:32um,
16:33they will use it for Christmas money and do other things,
16:35whatever they wanted with it.
16:36Right.
16:37So I remember they counted it and I said to them,
16:40you know what,
16:40let's pray for it to multiply.
16:41So they finished counting it.
16:43I told them to put it back in again.
16:44And I said,
16:45do you guys want more money?
16:47And they looked at me and they go,
16:48yes,
16:48mom.
16:49We,
16:49um,
16:50do you know how I am?
16:51So I,
16:53I remember all my kids laying hand on the box and pray again.
16:57And then they,
16:58they didn't wait,
16:59you know,
16:59kids,
17:00they don't wait.
17:00They finished praying and then they just keep it again.
17:03And then started counting and that actually multiply that money.
17:07And,
17:08and even they were like,
17:09wow.
17:09And from then on to tell you the truth,
17:11my kids always do that.
17:13They like to pray over there for multiplication over their Christmas money.
17:18So here you go.
17:19What we did is when we wanted more,
17:22we remember what God did and we just put it into application.
17:26Now,
17:26next one,
17:27B,
17:28we're still in the same subject in the same thing,
17:30but you're just expanding it.
17:32Okay.
17:32So in section three,
17:33now we're going to touch more specifically on guard our thoughts and meditate on his word.
17:41Right.
17:42So by that,
17:43which is very important because this is probably the area where we most fail,
17:47right?
17:47By guarding our thoughts and meditating on God's word,
17:51we receive encouragement that keeps hope alive.
17:54Ooh,
17:55that's why it says,
17:56you know,
17:56your heart can be sick because hope deferred.
17:59Why is hope deferred?
18:00Because your hope is not being kept alive.
18:03Right.
18:04Having your hope being kept alive.
18:06It gives us strength to persevere through difficult times.
18:09It is essential because it anchors our faith and keep us from despair.
18:13As we trust in God's faithfulness and timing.
18:18Right.
18:18See Romans chapter four,
18:2015 verse four from the MPC says,
18:23for whatever was just written in former days was written for our instruction that by our steadfast and patient endurance and the encouragement drawn from the scripture,
18:35we might hold fast to and cherish hope.
18:39So here we go.
18:40Very simply,
18:41the Bible explained how do we hold on to hope so we don't get feel sick in our heart.
18:46We don't go into despair.
18:47Right.
18:49I'll tell you what,
18:51I'll give you an example there.
18:53I mean,
18:53I've worked before we started ministry,
18:55lots of work.
18:56I just wanted to give like,
18:57you know,
18:57a testimony from different areas of life.
18:59Right.
19:00So I remember there was a time where I finished the previous work.
19:05I was in because it was a contract and I'll apply for another job in the city.
19:10Right.
19:10And,
19:11and with that job.
19:14Right.
19:15I went for the interview and there was lots of people.
19:18Now here's the thing.
19:19Some,
19:19some of the people who were doing the job with interview with me,
19:23they had a master in IT and I don't have a master in IT.
19:27Right.
19:28And I came back and I said,
19:30Lord,
19:31what do I do?
19:32And I keep,
19:32I kept saying to myself,
19:34I am the head and not the tail.
19:36I am above and not beneath.
19:37Yeah.
19:38I am a child of God.
19:39I am favored because,
19:41you know,
19:42his favor surround us,
19:43like surround me,
19:44like a shield,
19:45like the word of God.
19:46Say everywhere.
19:46People ask me,
19:47did you apply for a job?
19:49Did you get job?
19:50Oh,
19:50I am waiting for the arm.
19:51I'm waiting.
19:52They're going to call me for that job.
19:53That job is mine.
19:54They haven't called me.
19:55I'm not,
19:56I'm doing,
19:57um,
19:58how do you call it?
19:59Um,
19:59witchcraft or anything,
20:00but I'm declaring because I had a point and a piece in my heart that this is going to be my job.
20:05Despite knowing that some of the people there,
20:08their qualification and everything.
20:10Right.
20:11And guess what?
20:13I waited for six months and some people will call me crazy.
20:17Six months,
20:17you haven't got the job and you're still saying the job is yours or you're nuts woman.
20:21But I'll tell you what,
20:22that job was mine.
20:24I got a phone call and I got that job.
20:26And the guy who,
20:27um,
20:28who had a master in IT didn't get that job.
20:31I got the job to make matter worse for that guy.
20:33The,
20:34the job after I went,
20:36you're laughing.
20:37He's laughing.
20:38I actually worked with that guy.
20:39That's how I knew he has a master in IT.
20:42And I became his supervisor.
20:44I do not have a master in IT.
20:46This is how good our God is.
20:47So persevere,
20:48wait,
20:49but with the word of God,
20:51wait and have hope with the word of God,
20:54right?
20:55And by meditating on it.
20:57See,
20:57choose gratitude in the present.
21:00Very important as well.
21:01Choose gratitude for what we have.
21:04Now,
21:05it is very easy to go through something so hard.
21:09And we've been going through some really,
21:11really tough,
21:12really tough for,
21:14um,
21:15quite a while now for quite a while.
21:17I mean,
21:17I'm saying seriously,
21:18since almost 20 years now,
21:21it's been hard.
21:22It's been a rollercoaster.
21:24It's been,
21:25it's been really hard because we've taken,
21:29see what we preached,
21:30even at the beginning,
21:31when I was praying about,
21:33we do it.
21:34We're not telling them to do something we don't do.
21:36And we've paid dearly for it.
21:40We've paid dearly.
21:42And we're still paying dearly.
21:43And we're still declaring the word of God.
21:45That's why you see me with this on.
21:47It's bloody freezing in this desert,
21:49but it is freezing here.
21:53Even we're a heater.
21:55We have a heater.
21:55And I come from a cold place.
21:57I come from Portugal.
21:58Even though my mom's from Africa,
21:59but I come from a cold place.
22:00Nevertheless,
22:01this is nuts.
22:02I've been to Canada.
22:04I've been to other places.
22:05This place is seriously.
22:06Anyways.
22:07Let's keep going.
22:08Let's keep going.
22:09Um,
22:09yeah.
22:10So we're not telling you something that we don't do.
22:13Yes.
22:13There is a price to pay,
22:15but guess what?
22:15The reward is greater and it's a more fulfilling life.
22:19And even when you're feeling down,
22:21this is my point.
22:22When you,
22:23especially when you're feeling down,
22:24when you're feeling really like worn out,
22:26like you've been defeated,
22:27like you can't take it,
22:28like you choose this part.
22:31This part's so clear.
22:33Choose,
22:33start with gratitude,
22:34choose gratitude.
22:36Keep being grateful to God.
22:38Know what?
22:38Even if I don't have enough,
22:41I thank you,
22:42Jesus,
22:43even for the crumbs.
22:45I will still praise my Jesus.
22:46No matter what.
22:47I will still declare Jesus.
22:49No matter what.
22:50I will still say he's King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
22:52I'll still say there's only one way,
22:54one truth and one life.
22:56No matter what,
22:57he is still King.
22:58That does not change anything.
23:00If you can accept the good,
23:01why can't you accept the bad?
23:04Like my son has told me many times.
23:06Wise son.
23:08Anyways,
23:11choose gratitude for what we have now.
23:13Sometimes even appreciating the simple but wonderful richness already made available to us,
23:20like family,
23:21like health,
23:23a roof over our heads,
23:25peace,
23:26the ability to work,
23:29and much more.
23:29So this does not mean we are ignoring the areas we need help in or breakthrough,
23:35but it helps us to hold on to hope.
23:38That's the key.
23:39So you don't let it die.
23:41While we advance in those much needed areas of breakthrough,
23:45hoping,
23:45keeping hopelessness at bay.
23:48Amen.
23:49So 1 Thessalonians 5.18 in the Amplified Classic says,
23:53Thank God in everything,
23:54no matter what the circumstances may be.
23:56Be thankful and give thanks,
23:58for this is the will of God for you,
24:00who are in Christ Jesus,
24:02the revealer and mediator of that will.
24:05So let me give you a life,
24:08excuse me,
24:09a life analogy.
24:11For example,
24:12a runner in a marathon doesn't look back at the miles already covered.
24:17Instead,
24:17he focuses or she focuses on the finish line.
24:22Likewise,
24:23we move forward by fixing our eyes on the hope Christ has already placed within us.
24:29Amen.
24:31Okay,
24:31number four.
24:31Number four,
24:32using what God has already provided.
24:36Yes,
24:37I like to say that God has already given us equipment to fight this war,
24:41right?
24:41To fight whatever we're going.
24:43And this is what we're going to talk about,
24:45using what God has already provided.
24:47What has he provided for us?
24:49He has given us faith.
24:50If you don't have enough faith,
24:51ask for faith.
24:52That's what the Bible says.
24:53Well,
24:53the first one,
24:54faith,
24:54Hebrews 11 verse 1.
24:56He has given us his living word,
24:58the word of God,
24:59Romans chapter 15 verse 4.
25:01He has not left us as often.
25:03He has given unto us his Holy Spirit.
25:06Romans chapter 15 verse 13.
25:08He has given,
25:09enabled us and given us the ability to pray.
25:12And even if you can't pray and don't know what word to pray,
25:15Holy Spirit will intercede on your behalf.
25:18Prayer.
25:18Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 to 7.
25:21He has blessed us with the family.
25:23And if you were an orphan,
25:25he has given you a community of faith,
25:27even those who are in your church,
25:30those who are in the same faith as you.
25:32We are brother than sisters in Christ.
25:34Right?
25:35Hebrews chapter 10 verse 23 to 25.
25:38Right?
25:38It's very similar to like a fisherman who has,
25:42who already has,
25:43sorry,
25:44a fireman who already has a helmet,
25:47boots,
25:47and oxygen.
25:49We already have God given tools to endure storms.
25:53We simply need to use them daily.
25:57Right?
25:58Number five,
25:59living analogies of hope in daily life.
26:01All right.
26:02So hope as,
26:04for example,
26:05food on the table.
26:06You may not have tomorrow's bread,
26:08but God gives enough for today.
26:10Exodus 16 verse 4.
26:14Hope as a safe home.
26:17Life's storms may rage,
26:19but in Christ we lie down in peace.
26:21Psalms 4,
26:23Psalm 4 verse 8.
26:25Hope as family together.
26:28So having unity in your family,
26:29having your family together.
26:31Even in struggles,
26:32love makes life rich.
26:34Proverbs 17 verse 6.
26:37Hope as talent or calling.
26:41A seed may look small,
26:43but when used properly,
26:45it becomes a fruitful tree.
26:47Matthew 13 verses 31 to 32.
26:52Amen.
26:52All right.
26:54Six,
26:55summary.
26:56So let's summarize what we have covered.
26:58So Abraham's story,
27:00the first one,
27:01true biblical hope is not based on circumstances,
27:04but on God's unchanging promise.
27:07Abraham's believed against all hope.
27:10And so God's words fulfilled.
27:12Biblical richness,
27:14the second one we talked about,
27:16hope ties together all areas of life,
27:18spiritual blessings,
27:20family,
27:21provision,
27:21peace,
27:22and material needs.
27:23Without hope,
27:24blessing feels fragile.
27:26With hope,
27:27they stand secure.
27:29The other one we talked about is focus on what you have now.
27:33Hope grows when we remember God's faithfulness.
27:36It guards our mind with his word.
27:39And when we do that and choose daily gratitude,
27:43we can hold on to hope.
27:44The other one we talk about is use what's already in your hands.
27:50God has already given us faith,
27:52the word,
27:53the Holy Spirit,
27:54prayer,
27:54and community.
27:56These tools sustain us while waiting for greater breakthrough.
28:01The other one we have is hope in the everyday life.
28:04Just as bread feeds daily,
28:07homes protect,
28:09families transcend,
28:10and seeds multiply,
28:11so does hope nourish and sustain us in Christ.
28:15And lastly,
28:15we have the call.
28:17Anchor your hope in Christ.
28:18Celebrate fulfilled promises,
28:21stand firm in trials,
28:23and boldly declare that your future is secure in God's hand.
28:27Amen?
28:28Amen.
28:29All right.
28:29We're going to finish with number seven,
28:31which is our declaration prayer.
28:33You ready?
28:34Ready.
28:34So just receive like a gift.
28:37You can close your eyes.
28:38You can just receive as if you're the one speaking it out.
28:41Amen.
28:42All right.
28:43Father,
28:44we thank you for every blessing you have already given us.
28:47Life,
28:48our families,
28:49our daily bread,
28:50peace,
28:51and the gift of salvation in Christ Jesus.
28:54We thank you that even in trials,
28:56you are faithful,
28:57and your mercies are new every morning.
29:00Hebrews 6,
29:02verse 19,
29:03we declare that our hope is anchored in Christ,
29:06steady and unshaken by storms.
29:09We hold firmly to your promises,
29:11knowing that you never fail us.
29:14Romans 4,
29:15verse 18,
29:16we declare that like Abraham,
29:18we will believe even when hope seems gone.
29:21We place our trust not in what we see,
29:23but in the God who calls things that are not as though they are.
29:31There was no,
29:32there was no,
29:33Ephesians 1,
29:35verse 3,
29:36Ephesians 1,
29:373,
29:37we declare that we are already rich in Christ spiritually through your presence,
29:44physically through your provision,
29:46materially through your blessings,
29:48and relationally through the gift of family and loved ones.
29:52Psalm 77,
29:54verse 11 to 12,
29:55we declare that we will not lose sight of what you have already done for us.
30:00We choose to focus on your past faithfulness,
30:04meditate on your word,
30:05and give thanks for the hope we already have today.
30:09Romans 15,
30:10verse 4,
30:10we declare that we will guard our thoughts with your word,
30:14keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus,
30:16the author and finisher of our faith.
30:19Philippians 3,
30:2013 to 14,
30:21we declare that we will walk forward with gratitude,
30:24pressing toward the future you have prepared,
30:27refusing to be held back by past disappointments.
30:31Romans 15,
30:32verse 13,
30:32we declare that we are equipped with faith,
30:34and with the word of God,
30:36with prayer,
30:36with the Holy Spirit,
30:38and with the family of believers.
30:40We lack nothing to stand in hope.
30:43John 15,
30:445,
30:45we declare that as we abide in Jesus Christ,
30:48our lives will bear fruit of love,
30:51joy,
30:51peace,
30:51patience,
30:52kindness,
30:52and faithfulness,
30:53producing and multiplying in biblical richness,
30:56so that others may see the hope of Christ in us.
31:00We thank you,
31:01Lord,
31:01that our hope in you will never disappoint us.
31:04We rejoice in the love of God poured into our hearts,
31:07and we walk forward in confidence,
31:09declaring our hope is alive,
31:12our future is secure,
31:13and our joy is full.
31:15In Jesus' name we pray.
31:17Amen.
31:18Amen and amen.
31:20Glory to God.
31:21Hallelujah.
31:22Hallelujah.
31:24All right.
31:25If you didn't come at the beginning,
31:27we just had an amazing study,
31:29and I encourage you to go back and start,
31:31which is anchored in hope.
31:34It's so important,
31:35this small study that we've done today,
31:39for the times we are living in.
31:41It's very,
31:41very important.
31:41Now,
31:42if you're new here,
31:42and you haven't made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior,
31:45guess what?
31:45This is your opportunity.
31:47This is not a coincidence.
31:49This is a divine appointment.
31:50God's word is very clear,
31:52and in 1 John 5,
31:53verses 4 to 5,
31:55tells us,
31:56for whatever is born of God,
31:58overcomes the world.
32:00The world isn't a mess.
32:01It's upside down.
32:02There's so much problems going on,
32:04and there's so much so-called experts,
32:06telling you what to do,
32:07and telling you what you need to get rid of,
32:09and let go,
32:10and soon enough,
32:11you have to pay for air you breathe.
32:14I mean,
32:14there is countries.
32:15That is not apportioning.
32:16There is a country that actually sells cans.
32:19Air cans.
32:19Of air cans.
32:20That is true.
32:21That is true.
32:21I mean,
32:22this is nuts.
32:23But then again,
32:24we are living in a fallen world.
32:26The word of God goes on to say,
32:28but this,
32:29and this is the victory that has overcome the world.
32:32Our faith.
32:33Where are you putting your faith?
32:36I ask you.
32:36Because most of us in the world are putting our faith in the so-called experts,
32:41are putting our faith in the so-called government,
32:43are putting our faith in whatever nonsense,
32:45guru,
32:45other people,
32:46in money,
32:47in peer pressure,
32:47in things.
32:48Exactly.
32:48But guess what?
32:50Even they're struggling.
32:51So how can you put faith in people that,
32:55or man-made gods,
32:56or whatever?
32:58They're struggling themselves.
32:59Who is he then,
33:00George?
33:00Who is he then,
33:01that overcomes the world?
33:02Very good.
33:03Relax.
33:04Breathe.
33:06Take it easy.
33:07Here's the answer.
33:08But he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
33:14You must believe in Jesus Christ.
33:16He's the only way.
33:17He's the only truth.
33:17He's the only salvation.
33:19There is nobody else but through Jesus Christ.
33:21That's very intolerant.
33:23No,
33:23it's not intolerant.
33:24It's the truth.
33:26And the truth,
33:27in its simplistic definition,
33:29has to be intolerant of everything else,
33:31but the truth.
33:33That's why it's the truth.
33:35John 3,
33:3616 to 17.
33:37Maybe you've heard this.
33:38But God so loved the world
33:39that he gave his only begotten Son.
33:41Talking about Jesus Christ.
33:42That whoever believes in him
33:43should not perish,
33:44but have everlasting life.
33:47So he's not trying to judge you.
33:48He's not trying to attack you.
33:50He's not trying to,
33:51I hate speech.
33:53Relax.
33:55Relax.
33:56You're an adult.
33:57Act like one.
33:58Relax.
33:59Take it easy.
34:00Take self-responsibility.
34:03Relax.
34:04We're here to help you.
34:05We're not here to judge you.
34:08So take it easy.
34:09Discuss things normally.
34:11Listen with your ears.
34:13That's what they're there for.
34:14They're not just to make you look pretty.
34:16But God so loved the world
34:18that he gave his only begotten Son,
34:19Jesus Christ.
34:21He came willingly
34:23to die for you,
34:25for me,
34:26for all of us.
34:28But I don't want to believe in him.
34:29Guess what?
34:31He still came for you,
34:32even if you don't believe in him.
34:34And you have that right,
34:36which is free will,
34:37because of him.
34:39That's how much he still loves you.
34:40That he still gives you the gift of free will.
34:43But whoever believes in him
34:44should not perish,
34:45but have everlasting life.
34:47That means eternity.
34:48He wants to give eternal salvation.
34:51How is that hate?
34:52How is that anything but love?
34:55For God did not send his Son,
34:58he goes on to say his word,
34:59into the world,
35:00to condemn the world,
35:02but that the world through him
35:03might be saved.
35:04Now might part there,
35:07that might part be saved.
35:09It's not that he's thinking about it.
35:10Should I?
35:11Shouldn't I?
35:11I'll save him.
35:12I won't save him.
35:13No.
35:13That might is on you.
35:15If you make him your Lord and Savior,
35:17you will be saved.
35:19Amen.
35:19If you don't make him your Lord and Savior,
35:21you won't be saved.
35:22That's why it's there,
35:23it might because it's dependent
35:26upon your decision.
35:271 John 1.9 tells you very clearly
35:29what you need to do.
35:30First step.
35:32If we confess our sins,
35:34oh, there you go, George, sins.
35:36Yes, sin.
35:37Sin, in its most simplistic definition,
35:40is when we try to live our lives
35:41without God.
35:42That's right.
35:42You are not some human being.
35:44You're much more than that.
35:45You're much more valuable than that.
35:47You are, out of all the creation
35:49in the world,
35:49out of all the universe,
35:51we, what we in the world
35:53called humanity,
35:53we were created in his image.
35:55We are the only ones
35:57created in God's image,
35:58in spirit.
36:00We are spirit, soul, and body.
36:02Yep.
36:03We are much more than that.
36:04We are made in God's image.
36:06We are made to be in relationship
36:08with God
36:08and to be in relationship
36:10with the body of Christ,
36:10with his church,
36:12with the body of Christ.
36:14We are much more valuable
36:15than you think.
36:16We are not attacking you.
36:19We are saying
36:20you are so much more
36:22than you think you are.
36:23Walk in your value.
36:24That's what we are saying.
36:25Walk in your value.
36:27So what you need to do,
36:28confess your sins.
36:29You know exactly what they are.
36:31He is faithful,
36:32as the word of God
36:32goes on to say,
36:33and just
36:34to forgive us
36:36our sins
36:37and to cleanse us
36:39from all unrighteousness.
36:41All right, George,
36:42you convinced me.
36:42So what do I need to do?
36:44Took some time, eh?
36:45Romans 10,
36:479 to 10
36:47is very clearly.
36:49If you confess
36:50with your mouth
36:51the Lord Jesus,
36:52just like you can hear
36:53my voice right now,
36:54and believe in your heart
36:55that God has raised him
36:56from the dead,
36:57you will be saved.
37:01For with the heart
37:02man believeth
37:03unto righteousness,
37:05and with the mouth
37:06confession is made
37:07unto salvation.
37:08Right now,
37:08you need to do that.
37:10You don't know
37:11how much time
37:11you have left.
37:12You need to do that.
37:14You've got a bigger purpose
37:15than you think you have.
37:16You are much more
37:17valuable
37:18than what you think
37:20you are
37:20and what they tell you
37:21you are.
37:22You know,
37:22they just think
37:24about themselves,
37:25not you.
37:26So,
37:27if you really want
37:28to live the life
37:29you were created
37:30to live
37:30and live in the purpose
37:32that God has given you,
37:33which is so much bigger
37:34than what you could
37:35ever imagine,
37:36make Jesus
37:37your Lord and Savior
37:38right now.
37:38Cry out to him.
37:39All you need to do,
37:40as you just heard,
37:41is with your own mouth,
37:43confess.
37:43Say,
37:44Jesus,
37:45from your heart
37:46you have to mean it.
37:47Jesus,
37:48if you are God,
37:50come into my life,
37:51be my Lord and Savior.
37:52From this day forward,
37:53I want you to be my God.
37:55Use my life
37:56for your glory.
37:57Thank you for dying
37:58on that cross for me.
38:00And from this day forward,
38:01I belong to you.
38:02Use my life for you.
38:04It's as simple as that,
38:05but you have to mean it.
38:06It has to come from your heart
38:07and you will be saved.
38:08But it doesn't stop there,
38:08as you can see.
38:10Titus 3 verse 5,
38:11Ephesians 2 verse 8,
38:12Acts 1 verse 8,
38:13amongst others,
38:14goes on to say,
38:15then he saves us
38:16by grace
38:18through faith.
38:20Grace,
38:20his part,
38:21faith,
38:21you putting your faith in him,
38:23in the finished word
38:24of Christ,
38:25the gift of God
38:26washing away our sins
38:27and giving us
38:29the new joy
38:30of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
38:31Wow,
38:32what is that?
38:32And you will receive power
38:34when the Holy Spirit
38:35comes upon you
38:35and you'll be my witnesses
38:36telling people about me
38:37everywhere.
38:41Wow,
38:41that is what we call
38:42in the Christian circles
38:43baptism of Holy Spirit
38:44and fire.
38:45We need the baptism
38:47of Holy Spirit and fire.
38:48You need the baptism
38:49of Holy Spirit and fire.
38:50It's good
38:51that you've just cried out
38:52to God
38:52and you made Jesus
38:53who will want to save it.
38:55Hallelujah,
38:55heaven is rejoicing over you.
38:58From this day forward,
38:59you belong to Christ Jesus
39:00and for eternity,
39:02you are saved.
39:04Amen.
39:04However,
39:05you are still here on earth,
39:06right?
39:06Yes.
39:07You're a spirit,
39:08soul and body.
39:09You're still here on earth.
39:10You have a mission
39:11to fulfill
39:12and your mission
39:13is you do
39:14as God's called you to do
39:16whether you're a banker,
39:17whether you're a nurse,
39:18whether you're a doctor,
39:19a lawyer,
39:20whether you're a politician,
39:21whether you're a pastor,
39:23a minister,
39:23whatever you are,
39:25you be the Christ ambassador
39:27that God's called you to be
39:28within that context,
39:30within your life.
39:31You represent Him now.
39:33But in order to do that,
39:34you need guidance.
39:35You need the guidance
39:36of His Word.
39:37So get yourself a Bible.
39:39You need the guidance
39:40of the church,
39:41of the body of Christ.
39:42And remember,
39:42church consists of
39:43people like you and I.
39:45So as soon as you walk in there,
39:46it's not perfect.
39:48It's not the church
39:49that is perfect.
39:49It's Christ Jesus
39:50who is perfect.
39:52So remember that.
39:52Be gracious with people.
39:54But it is a place
39:55that you need to be connected with
39:56because it's the body of Christ
39:58and we need each other
39:59in this journey of life
40:01through the world
40:02we're living in.
40:03And the third part,
40:04you need Holy Spirit.
40:05You need the joy
40:06of the indwelling Holy Spirit
40:08which is the very Spirit of God
40:10to come inside of you
40:11and live inside of you.
40:12He will guide you.
40:13He will comfort you.
40:13He will correct you.
40:15He will teach you
40:15and He comes bearing
40:16spiritual gifts,
40:18power.
40:19He comes bearing power.
40:20Speaking in tongues,
40:22gift of prophecy,
40:24gift of miracle signs and wonders
40:25where you will pray for people
40:26and people will get healed,
40:27people will have miracles.
40:29I've seen it.
40:30It happens.
40:31It's real.
40:32Jesus is real.
40:33He's not some philosophy.
40:35Holy Spirit is real
40:36and He wants to live inside of you.
40:38But you have to ask Him to come.
40:40You have to invite Him
40:42to come and live inside of you.
40:43Are you ready?
40:43We're going to do that together.
40:44We're going to pray.
40:45All you need to do
40:46is just accept by faith.
40:50Some of you may have a reaction.
40:51You may feel like a massive heat
40:53come over your body.
40:54You may feel like
40:55electricity is running over you.
40:56You may feel like
40:57massive weight is lifting off you.
40:58You may feel like
40:59you've been delivered
41:00from whatever sin,
41:02whatever addictions,
41:03whatever things
41:04you were trying to get rid of
41:05and you couldn't.
41:06That's normal.
41:07So don't freak out.
41:09Just relax.
41:11Lord, I thank you
41:12for the privilege
41:12of praying with my brother
41:13and sister right now.
41:15I lift up your holy name,
41:16Jesus,
41:17and I thank you.
41:18Even now by faith,
41:20we call upon your Holy Spirit
41:21to come and baptize us
41:23with your spirit
41:24and with fire.
41:27Hallelujah,
41:28we say come Lord.
41:29Have your way in us.
41:32Send fire Lord.
41:34Fire,
41:35for your word says
41:36that our God
41:36is a consuming fire.
41:39So Lord,
41:40send fire.
41:41Fill us from our head to toe,
41:43inside and out.
41:44Use us for your glory.
41:49Our lives belong to you
41:50in Jesus' name.
41:52Amen.
41:54Congratulations.
41:55Welcome back.
41:56Welcome back
41:56to the Kingdom family.
41:57As I just said before,
41:59get connected
41:59to the Bible teaching,
42:00Holy Spirit filled church.
42:03Excuse me.
42:04I eat too fast sometimes.
42:06So,
42:07yes,
42:08so get connected.

42:11if you don't know
42:11where to start,

42:14We do have a website,
42:16www.lionsdrault38,
42:19not like you see
42:20on the screen,
42:20but after the three,
42:22it's actually

42:26Yes.
42:26So we've got a website.

42:36and we will help you find
42:37a church
42:38that you can get connected with.
42:40Whether it's in person,
42:41whether it's online,
42:42we understand that
42:43some countries don't allow you
42:44to go in person
42:44or you're restricted
42:46or whatever.
42:47So you can go online as well
42:48if need be.
42:49But get connected
42:51with the body of Christ.
42:52It's so important
42:52you get connected.
42:53You cannot go through
42:54this journey alone.
42:55That's right.
42:56All right?
42:57All right.
42:57So let's pray for
42:58our partners.
43:00It's very important
43:01to pray for our partners.
43:02You want to pray?
43:03Oh, me?
43:04Yes.
43:06Father, we just want to
43:07thank you for our partners,
43:08Lord God.
43:09We'll leave them up,
43:10Lord God.
43:10Those who are partnered
43:11with this ministry,
43:12Lord God,
43:12prayerfully and financially,
43:14Lord God.
43:15We are thankful,
43:16Father God,
43:16because of their obedience
43:17we are able to continue
43:19to do that
43:19which you call
43:20Alliance Procreate Ministries
43:22to do, Lord.
43:23Thank you for your blessing
43:24upon them, Lord God.
43:25Thank you, Lord,
43:26that you draw them
43:27nearer to you, Lord God,
43:28for divine alignment
43:30over their life,
43:31Lord God,
43:32with your thought,
43:33purpose,
43:33and the action
43:34that you have set
43:35for them,
43:35Lord God.
43:36We thank you,
43:37Father God,
43:37those who are sowing
43:38financially,
43:39Lord God,
43:39that they may see
43:41that they're not sowing
43:41into us,
43:42but into your land,
43:43Lord God.
43:43Bless them,
43:44Lord God,
43:44abundantly,
43:45Lord God,
43:45and their families.
43:46Those who are praying
43:47for us,
43:47oh, Lord God,
43:48Lord,
43:48we thank you,
43:49Father God,
43:49that the seeds,
43:50Father God,
43:51that they are planting,
43:52Lord God,
43:52and they shower us
43:53with prayers,
43:54Lord,
43:54may they,
43:55Father God,
43:55hallelujah,
43:56receive the blessing
43:57on the answers
43:58of their prayer as well.
44:00We thank you,
44:01Lord God,
44:01for unity,
44:02Lord God,
44:03for each of us
44:03to do,
44:04Lord God,
44:05what we are called
44:06to do in the body
44:07of Christ.
44:08In Jesus' name
44:09we pray.
44:10Amen.
44:12Amen.
44:13All right.
44:14All right.
44:15Let me,
44:16let us finish
44:17with,
44:20with,
44:21let me find that again.
44:27I want to finish
44:28with the verse
44:29that I spoke about
44:30before.
44:31Okay.
44:31Go for it.
44:32I want to finish
44:33with that verse.
44:33I want that to be
44:34the last thing
44:35we stay,
44:35it stays in our minds.
44:37All right.
44:37Go for it.
44:38So that we understand.
44:40We spoke about
44:41anchored in hope
44:42in a time
44:43that we are living in
44:44as we spoke before.
44:47You know very well
44:48what I'm saying.
44:49So 2 Corinthians 10,
44:503 to 5.
44:51I'm going to be reading
44:52that again.
44:532 Corinthians 10,
44:543 to 5.
44:55Meditate on that.
44:57But though we walk,
44:59live in the flesh,
45:00we are not carrying on
45:03our warfare
45:04according to the flesh
45:05and using mere human weapons.
45:09For the weapons of our warfare
45:10are not physical
45:11weapons of flesh and blood,
45:14but they are mighty
45:15before God
45:16for the overthrow
45:18and destruction
45:19of strongholds.
45:20inasmuch as we refute
45:23arguments
45:23and theories
45:25and reasonings
45:25and every proud
45:27and lofty thing
45:28that sets itself
45:30against the true
45:31knowledge of God
45:32and we lead
45:33every thought
45:34and purpose
45:35away captive
45:36into the obedience
45:38of Christ,
45:39the Messiah,
45:39the Anointed One.
45:40In the mighty name
45:41of Jesus we pray.
45:42Amen.
45:43Amen.
45:44God bless you all.
45:45Have a wonderful week.
45:47If you didn't watch this
45:48from the beginning,
45:49please I encourage you
45:49watch it from the beginning
45:51because it is
45:52not just a cool one
45:54but it's
45:54a very important
45:56topic
45:57for such a time as this.
46:00And share it with somebody
46:02who might need to hear this.
46:04Share it with somebody.
46:05It's not about George and Sabrina.
46:07Quick share can change
46:08somebody's life.
46:09Amen.
46:09That's right.
46:10God bless you all
46:11and we'll see you
46:13next week.
46:16Amen.
46:18Shalom, shalom.
46:38Let's pray.
