00:00I don't think she's a risk at all. I mean, she's kept away from the others involved in this little activity and she's got access to the others that are supposed to have to engage in this type of stuff and no access to the drugs that she's supposed to have used. Then what's the risk?
00:11Well, the Crown case is weak. Her Honour's view is her Honour's view, but I've read all the material and I can say that the direction a jury will be given in this type of matter, should it even make it to a jury, is that the Crown need to demonstrate that she knew at the time she supplied the drugs to this undercover operative, the undercover operative was going to use it to kill herself.
00:30And I can tell you right now, all the conversations were recorded. So if the undercover operative has said to her, I'm going to use the drugs to kill myself and I want the drugs for that purpose, it would have been put in the material before the court today and have to sip it off the beer.
00:43Well, it seems on the material anyway that I've read that people contact this group. They go to the meetings that this group perpetuates. They ask the members of this group for assistance in their end of life experience and they go into it eyes wide open.
00:59I don't think there's any suggestion that they would wink into any of these activities. There's a piece of legislation in this state that allows people to avoid any allegations of suicide if they comply with certain medical directions.
01:10So ending your life or being involved with someone who helps you end your life is not a crime. It's only a crime if it's not done the right way.
01:29I don't think there's any sense, but there's no crime.
01:36I don't think there's a crime as a crime but a crime of helping you start.
01:40Because sometimes there's no crime where you from afteroule
01:49And you now have to dismiss the abortion, what would cause a crime or crime, a crimeå½¢.
