00:00Salom to all, and welcome. Hear, O Israel, the eternal is our God, the eternal is one.
00:13And you shall love the eternal God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength and all your possessions.
00:21Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength.
00:33Maybe I dreamed of doing this storytelling in a different way.
00:38Narrating in my own voice, but circumstances have led me to find another way to serve the one true God,
00:46the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of Moses, and the God of Yeshua.
00:53My speech has deteriorated greatly, but that doesn't mean my message should be silenced.
01:00On the contrary, if God has led me down this path, it is because He wants me to do so, and I trust that it will be a blessing.
01:08Please like, subscribe, comment, and share my videos. It helps YouTube make them available to more people.
01:19This is how you motivate me and help me continue creating content to learn and glorify the one true God, the God of the people of Israel.
01:28If you wish to give me a tzedaka, may God bless you always.
01:33You will find the links in the description of this and all my videos.
01:38Before beginning the study of the Parasa I would like to share with you one of my daily prayers.
01:45It is the prayer that Moses made to God because he wanted to enter the promised land.
01:51I think this prayer has a power that has not yet been deciphered,
01:55For the Torah tells us that God himself asked Moses not to continue with it.
02:00The Sages explain that this was because, if Moses had continued, God's infinite mercy would have led him to grant his wish.
02:11That's why I want to share it here, adapted to our current needs,
02:16so that each of us can raise it as a personal supplication to the Eternal, trusting in His goodness.
02:22Daily prayer based on the prayer of Moses
02:26Lord Adonai, my Lord and my Almighty God,
02:31You have begun to show your servant your greatness and your powerful hand.
02:37Who is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty deeds as yours?
02:42I beg you, keep me always in your presence, in your way, in your will, in your piety, in your goodness and in your mercy.
02:52And if it is your will, grant me spiritual healing.
02:57Grant salvation and protection to the people of Israel, the Jewish people,
03:02from the evil hand of man who desires its destruction.
03:05Protect them and save them, for they are your people, Hachem, according to the promise you made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
03:15Grant peace and prosperity to your people as well.
03:19Grant it to me too.
03:22Here you can add your personal requests, what you really need.
03:28In the name and through the merits of Yeshua, the Messiah,
03:32which you sent for the salvation of our souls and to give us eternal life,
03:37and for your infinite grace, mercy, kindness and compassion, Hachem, my Lord and my Almighty God,
03:45If it is your will and if this brings me closer to you, please grant it to me.
03:51But if it is not your will, remove this request from my mind and let your will be done,
03:56For you know what is best for me, what pleases you and will bring me closer to you and make me happy.
04:03Amen.
04:04Please give this video a like and subscribe before starting, it helps me a lot.
04:11Without further ado, we entered the Parasá.
04:15In-depth study of the Parasá Kitabo.
04:18The Parasá Kitabo, whose name means when you come or when you enter,
04:23It is the fiftieth weekly Torah portion in the Jewish reading cycle,
04:29and the seventh of the book of Devarim, Deuteronomy.
04:33It extends from Deuteronomy 26:1 to 29:8.
04:38This portion is of great importance because it establishes the ceremonies and promises
04:44that the people of Israel must do once they have entered the promised land.
04:49Major topics include the firstfruits offering, Bikurim, confession of tithes,
04:57and the monumental ceremony of blessings and curses that must be proclaimed on Mounts Gerizim and Ebal.
05:04The Parasa is a reminder that entry into the land and the prosperity found there are a gift from God,
05:12and not a human achievement.
05:14Corresponding biblical portion.
05:17Deuteronomy 26, 1-29, 8.
05:22Corresponding Aftara.
05:24The aftara for the Parasá Kitabo is from Isaiah 60, 1-22.
05:30This is the sixth of the seven aftarot of Consuelo, Sibad of Nehenta,
05:36which are read between Tiza Beobey and Rosasana.
05:39The prophet Isaiah delivers a message of hope and glory to Jerusalem,
05:45urging her to rise and shine, for her light has arrived.
05:49He speaks of the influx of nations towards Jerusalem,
05:53bringing their riches and paying homage to God.
05:56The connection with the Parasá Kitabo is profound.
06:01While the Parasha details the blessings that come through obedience.
06:07The Aftara describes the final and glorious blessing that God will bring to Jerusalem in the times of redemption,
06:13a blessing that will surpass all previous promises and make Israel a light unto the nations.
06:20Full text of Parasá Kitabo, translated from Hebrew to Spanish.
06:26Deuteronomy 26, 1
06:29And it will be, when you come to the land that the Eternal your God gives you as an inheritance,
06:34and possess it, and dwell in it.
06:3726, 2
06:39Then you shall take of the firstfruits of all the fruits of the land,
06:43that you gather from your land that the Eternal your God gives you,
06:46and you shall put it in a basket, and go to the place which the Lord your God will choose to make his name dwell there.
06:5326, 3
06:56And you shall go to the priest who is there in those days, and you shall say to him,
07:01Today I declare to the Lord your God, that I have entered the land that the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.

07:11And the priest shall take the basket from thy hand, and set it before the altar of the LORD thy God.
07:1826, 5
07:20And you shall answer and say before the Lord your God.
07:24My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt and lived there with a few people,
07:30and there a great, strong and numerous nation was made.
07:3526, 6
07:36And the Egyptians did us evil and afflicted us, and laid upon us a hard bondage.
07:4326, 7
07:45And we cried unto the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression.
07:5726, 8
07:58And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders.
08:0726, 9
08:09And he brought us to this place, and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
08:1626, 10
08:17And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land which You, O Lord, have given me.
08:24And you shall set it before the Lord your God, and you shall bow down before the Lord your God.
08:3226, 11
08:33And you shall rejoice in all the goodness that the Lord your God has given you, to you and your household, you, and the Levite, and the stranger who is among you.
08:4526, 12
08:46When you have finished tithing all the tithes of your produce in the third year, the year of tithing, you shall also give to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat in your gates and be satisfied.
09:0226, 13
09:03And you shall say before the Lord your God, I have removed the holy thing from my house, and have given it also to the Levite, and to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all that you commanded me.
09:17I have not transgressed your commandments, nor have I forgotten them.
09:2226, 14
09:24I have not eaten of it in my mourning, nor have I taken any of it for uncleanness, nor have I given any of it for the dead.
09:31I have listened to the voice of the Lord my God, and have done according to all that you have commanded me.
09:3826, 15
09:39Look down from your holy dwelling place, from heaven, and bless your people Israel and the land you gave us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
09:5326, 16
09:55This day the Eternal your God commands you to fulfill these statutes and judgments.
10:00Therefore, keep and observe them all with all your heart and with all your soul.

10:1726, 18
10:20And the Lord has declared today that He will set you over all the nations He has made, for praise, and for fame, and for glory, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God, as He has said.
10:3427, 1
10:36And Moses and Moses and the elders of Israel charged the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you today.
10:4427, 2
10:46And it shall be on the day that you cross over the Jordan into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, that you shall set up for yourself great stones and plaster them with lime.
10:5627, 3
10:58And you shall write upon them all the words of this Torah, when you pass through, that you may enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has spoken to you.
11:1227, 4
11:14And it shall be, when you have crossed the Jordan, that you shall set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I command you today, and you shall whiten them with stones.

11:46And you shall sacrifice peace offerings and eat there, and rejoice before the Lord your God.
11:5427, 8
11:56And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this Torah, very clearly, period.
12:0227, 9
12:04And Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel, saying,
12:10Be still and listen, O Israel, this day you have become a people of the Lord your God.

17:3628, 13
17:38And the Lord will make you the head, not the tail; and you will be only at the top, not at the bottom, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today and observe and do them.

19:30You did not eat bread, nor did you drink new wine or strong drink, so that you might know that I am the Lord your God.

19:4829, 8
19:49And we took their land, and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of the Menaceites, period.
19:59Deep spiritual reflection
20:01The Parasá Kitabo is a moment of transition and consolidation of the faith of Israel.
20:09The name, Kitabo, when you come, implies a sense of future and responsibility.
20:16Once the people cross the Jordan, they must carry out a series of actions that demonstrate their gratitude and faithfulness to God.
20:24The ceremony of Bikurim, first fruits, is one of the most significant laws.
20:30By bringing the firstfruits to the priest, the Israelite not only offers a material gift, but also recites a historical confession.
20:41The statement a wandering Aramean was my father.
20:45Deuteronomy 26, 5
20:47It is a brief recap of Israel's history, from slavery in Egypt to entry into the Promised Land.
20:55According to the Rasi, this confession is an act of humility and gratitude.
21:01The Midrash, Midrash Tanchumah, Kitabo 1, explains that this confession is a way of not forgetting humble origins and miraculous redemption,
21:12thus combating the arrogance that could come with prosperity.
21:16The climax of the Parasha is the ceremony of blessings and curses on Mounts Gerizim and Ebal.
21:24The people divide into two groups, one on each mountain, to proclaim the results of obedience or disobedience to the Torah.
21:32This is a solemn warning and a visual reminder of the principle of cause and effect in Israel's relationship with God.
21:42The repetition of Amen by all the people at each curse is not an acceptance of being cursed,
21:48but a solemn acceptance that God's law is just and that each person is responsible for its fulfillment.
21:55The Nazmanides, Ramban, teaches that curses are not an arbitrary punishment from God, but the natural result of the actions of the people.
22:06The list of blessings and curses in chapter 28 is the longest in the Torah.
22:13It is a text that has provoked fear and reflection throughout the centuries.
22:18The blessings promise abundance, peace and supremacy over nations,
22:23while the curses detail a series of calamities that would come upon the people if they turned away from God.
22:31The purpose of this section is clear, to motivate obedience not out of fear of consequences,
22:38but out of a deep love and reverence for God, understanding that his will is for the good of the people.
22:45Connections with the Messiah and future redemption, messianic vision.
22:49The Parasaki Tabo is full of themes that relate to final redemption and the role of the Messiah.
22:57The blessing of the firstfruits and the Messiah, the act of bringing the firstfruits and the confession that is recited is a rite of gratitude.
23:06The Messiah, in the messianic vision, is seen as the first fruits of humanity, the first fruit of redemption.
23:15His resurrection is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep, and his work is the foundation from which all spiritual blessing is derived.
23:24The Messiah and the curse, the list of curses in the Parasha is severe.
23:30The apostle Paul, in Galatians 3:13, quotes Deuteronomy 21:23 and says that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law,
23:40made a curse for us, for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.
23:47This is one of the most important statements of Messianic Christianity.
23:53The Messiah took upon himself the curse of disobedience to free humanity from its consequences.
24:00His death on the tree is seen as the supreme act of redemption,
24:04which nullifies the curses of the Torah and opens the way to blessings.
24:10The special people, the promise that Israel will be a special people for God, Deuteronomy 26,
24:1718, finds its fulfillment in the messianic era, where Israel, having accepted its Messiah,
24:25will fulfill its purpose of being a light unto the nations.
24:29The aphtara of Isaiah 60, 1 to 22, which speaks of the future glory of Jerusalem and of the nations that will come to its light,
24:38is an echo of this promise.
24:40The final blessing is not only for Israel, but through Israel for the entire world.
24:46Concluding reflection for current life.
24:50Kitabo teaches us that the life of faith is not just a belief, but a practice that is lived daily.
24:58The offering of the firstfruits is a reminder to be thankful for what we have and recognize that everything comes from God.
25:06The solemnity of blessings and curses urges us to reflect on the consequences of our moral choices.
25:16It challenges us to live a life of obedience, not out of a servile fear of punishment, but out of a deep desire to walk in God's ways,
25:25which are paths of life and blessing.
25:29The parasha is a lesson in humility, gratitude, and responsibility, reminding us that our prosperity is tied to our fidelity to God and his Torah.
25:40Sources consulted for this study.
25:42The sources consulted include the Torah, Book of Deuteronomy, various Midrashin, Midrash Tanchumah, and the commentaries of Rasi, Nachmanides, Ramban.
25:55References to texts from the Tanakh, the Book of Isaiah, and the New Testament have also been included.
26:02When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
26:11And before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats.
26:21And he will set the sheep on his right, and the goats on his left.
26:25Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.
26:36For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
26:45I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.
26:52Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when we saw you hungry and fed you, or thirsty and gave you drink.
27:03And when we saw you a stranger, and took you in, or naked, and clothed you.
27:09Or when we saw you sick, or in prison, and we went to you.
27:14And the King will answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.

27:28This passage shows that the final judgment is based on our actions toward our neighbor,
27:34and that true justice is reflected in practical love for those in need.
27:39Yeshua takes up these ideas clearly, showing that faithfulness to God is expressed by serving others with love and justice, without needing to see them physically.
27:52To serve the needy is to serve the Messiah, their representative.
27:56Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
28:03Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
28:09Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
28:14Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
28:20Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.
28:25Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
28:31Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
28:37Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
28:45Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for My sake.
28:52Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.

29:01Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
29:08Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.
29:11As in heaven, so on earth.
29:14Give us today our daily bread, and forgive our debts.
29:20As we also forgive our debtors.
29:24And do not cause us to enter into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
29:29Amen.
