00:00given Russell Martin is still to win a league fixture.
00:04This is a real opportunity for Hearts to kind of back up
00:08Tony Bloom's recent statement and lay down a marker.
00:12Yeah, they've been hit with some pretty bad injury news before it.
00:16Frankie Ken and record signing Agu are both going to miss that game,
00:21which is a blow.
00:22Agu in particular, Dermot Canis was raving about him
00:24before or after, sorry, the Livingston game
00:28about how much of an impact he's going to be able to make.
00:30They have got numerous options there.
00:33I think I did a bit earlier in the week for the evening news
00:36where I think, including players who are out on loan,
00:38Hearts have, I think, 36, 37 senior players.
00:42So it's not like they haven't got options in there.
00:45You know, Cammy Dev, Sander Khartoum and Callum Neuwenhoff
00:49haven't even been near the squad this season.
00:51Callum Neuwenhoff, particular one player I like
00:53and he can't get near the team.
00:54So they have got options in there
00:56and they have started the season well.
00:59They've got points on the board
01:01when everybody just seems incapable of winning
01:03or losing matches.
01:05Everybody just seems to be drawing with each other.
01:07And the one thing for Derek McInnes,
01:10which will be of some concern,
01:12is the team selection at the minute.
01:14He's still finding that best 11
01:16and that's natural given the size of squad he's got
01:20and the amount of players he's got to pick from.
01:23But we've seen in the Livingston game,
01:25we've seen in the Motherwell game,
01:27St Mirren,
01:28all three of those games,
01:29he's had to make changes and drastic changes at halftime
01:32because it has not been working in the first half.
01:35Neither of those,
01:37any of those teams really punished them for that.
01:40St Mirren didn't,
01:41albeit they did go on and win in penalties.
01:43But, you know,
01:43in a regular league game,
01:44they come out of that with a draw away from home
01:46against a top six team.
01:47Motherwell should have.
01:49They were 3-0 up,
01:50but they managed to get it back to 3-H.
01:53In Livingston last weekend as well,
01:55they were much improved after halftime
01:57and probably just about edged a point.
02:00Three points, sorry.
02:02I think a point would have maybe been harsh on the end
02:03with how well they played the second half.
02:05So I suppose the encouragement is
02:07this is if they've not put 90 minutes together
02:08and they have still got 10 points.
02:11So you would think if they can put 90 minutes together,
02:17a way to a side who are well under the cosh,
02:20if they lose this,
02:22and again,
02:23it's proper on an eye-fetch for this for Rangers.
02:26If Russell Martin gets a win,
02:27then it can be seen as the win that potentially gets his tenure
02:29up and running.
02:30But if he loses,
02:31then it's potentially the one where fans just think,
02:33oh, this is just what we're stuck with this season.
02:36So it's a really intriguing game.
02:38I would think if Harts can get team selection right
02:43and can put even 60 minutes together,
02:46then I think they've got half a chance
02:49of at least taking a point.
