00:08Technologie moves the world forward.
00:12AI drives the wave of change.
00:16At XFeng,
00:18Technologie is how we speak with the world.
00:21It sparks curiosity into imagination.
00:25It inspires excitement into possibilities.
00:29Our technology is more than progress.
00:33But to bring humans and technology closer.
00:40We listen.
00:43We learn.
00:46We anticipate.
00:48To shine your personality.
00:50To upgrade your journey.
00:54Forward to the future.
00:56With you.
00:58With everyone.
01:02XFeng.
01:03Leading the future of AI mobility.
01:07Please welcome the Vice Chairman and President of XFeng.
01:11Dr. Brian Gu.
01:16Guten Morgen.
01:18I'm Brian Gu.
01:19I'm very pleased to be back in Munich.
01:22The cradle of the automotive industry.
01:25To share with all of you the latest progress at XFeng.
01:30We're also very honored to have Ms. Muller.
01:32The chairlady of German Association of Automobile Industry.
01:36Be with us.
01:37Thank you for coming.
01:38There are too many changes happened in the last two years.
01:46The EV industry is moving faster than ever.
01:50And AI is reshaping everything.
01:53But what has not changed is our vision.
01:56To build different.
01:58As an EV pioneer with AI in our DNA.
02:02As explorers of future mobility, we're not a traditional player in the industry.
02:09Our differentiation is AI at its core.
02:13From AI robots.
02:15To autonomous driving vehicles.
02:18To flying cars.
02:19And ultimately leading to embodied intelligence.
02:22And we believe all for better life.
02:25And for all.
02:26Two years ago.
02:29XFeng debuted in Munich as an emerging Chinese EV brand.
02:35And today, in 2025.
02:38We return to IAA as a top six EV maker in the world.
02:43This transformation is a testament to our vision.
02:47And our execution speed.
02:51Our growth is powered by technology that spans the largest market segments.
02:57As well as every major product category.
03:00From sedans.
03:01To SUVs.
03:02From personal cars.
03:04To mobility solutions.
03:06For the future.
03:07We build integrated tech ecosystems on wheels.
03:11And every time we launch a product.
03:14Whether it's in China.
03:16Or globally.
03:17It represents the most advanced small mobility technology in its class.
03:25The core of our ecosystem is our full stack in-house R&D.
03:29Whether it's the most advanced ADA system.
03:36The smart cabin solutions.
03:38Our advanced electric and electronic architecture.
03:42As well as our super efficient, fast charging powertrain.
03:46But more importantly is that we actually have all these united in one platform.
03:53That brings software, hardware and AI together.
03:56This deep integration is our key differentiator.
04:01And the benefit is very clear.
04:03We can redefine the EV experience and deliver breakthroughs to our customers faster than anyone who relies on a third party supplier.
04:12Of course, technology alone is not enough.
04:18You need adequate capacity to sustain future growth.
04:22And that's why we have built advanced manufacturing capacities.
04:26Both in China as well as overseas.
04:29And also we built China's first and the largest self-built charging network.
04:34With the majority of charging stations being super fast chargers.
04:37The foundation allows us to scale rapidly and support global expansion at any time.
04:44We don't just sell cars.
04:46We offer a complete ecosystem to bring innovation to life.
04:53So all this development also has yielded very strong business performances for us.
04:58As we announced our latest earnings in our second quarter results.
05:05We have seen our financial matrices hitting historical records in every indices.
05:12For example, deliveries, revenues, profit margins.
05:17We also expect as a company we'll turn profitable this coming fourth quarter.
05:23And this will mark a new chapter in our company's development.
05:27It's a clear affirmation from the market of our hard work and strategy.
05:34One of the key catalysts of our momentum is global expansion.
05:38As many of you probably remember,
05:40Xpense started the global journey in Europe back in 2021.
05:45And just in a few years, we actually have extended our footprint to more than 46 countries and regions.
05:52We also have grown our overseas business significantly.
05:56So year to day, our overseas delivery has almost tripled.
06:01We are truly bringing smart EVs to every corner of the world.
06:07And nowhere is this global acceptance more evident than in Europe.
06:11We are the number one China brand in the mid to high-end electric vehicle segment.
06:17We are deeply grateful to tremendous support from our customers, which is reflected in the highest net promoter score in the Deutsch-speaking region, an incredible 81%.
06:29Our journey is not just a solo mission.
06:32We believe in collaboration.
06:34Our deepening strategic collaboration with Volkswagen Group is a testament to our shared future.
06:41Most recently, our collaboration has expanded from the original partnershiping product to including all ICE and plug-in hybrid platforms in China to utilize our electro-electronic system.
06:55It's a powerful partnership, aligning one of the world's largest automakers with our smart EV technology.
07:04And our global growth is powered by local investments.
07:07We recognize we have to make commitments locally.
07:10That's why, for example, in R&D, with the latest opening this week of our R&D center in Munich, we'll have nine R&D centers spanning three continents.
07:21On production, early this year, we announced the first overseas production factory in Indonesia.
07:28And we soon will reveal additional overseas production sites in the near future.
07:34And also, at the same time, we've developed a strong European-based supply chain, which we can scale smoothly and bring smarter mobility to users everywhere.
07:47So at Xpand, we believe in smart mobility for a smarter future, bringing intelligent driving experience to everyone around the world.
07:56And now, I would like to welcome our chairman and CEO, Mr. He Xiaopeng, to share his vision for our technology in the future.
08:05Please welcome the chairman and the CEO of Xpand, Mr. He Xiaopeng.
08:20Good morning.
08:22You might need to change the channel in your translation equipment.
08:27It's a great pleasure of mine because this is the first time I'm here at Munich International Motor Show to introduce you.
08:36A self-instruction first, my name is Xiaopeng He, and our company name is Xpand Motors.
08:45In Germany, there are many companies who name after the names of their founders.
08:55This is rare in China, but I'm confident that this demonstrates a sense of responsibility and confidence if we name the company with the founder's name.
09:07Just now, Brian told you about the vision and our achievements, but I would like to tell you more about our technology of AI and our technology matrix.
09:19Xpand is a technology company.
09:22It's a global company focusing on AI-defined mobility.
09:28Please look at the slide behind me.
09:31From my perspective, among all the global car maker CEOs, I'm rare because my background is computer.
09:44I used to be working in software and internet.
09:49So I'm always convinced that AI can transform mobility.
09:55So you can see we use AI to make flying vehicles and smart robots as well as driverless cars.
10:05AI is the origin of all our innovations.
10:09You can see in the past 10 years, we're dedicated to self-developed full-stack AI system.
10:17Our development is not limited to software but hardware as well as cloud and physical models.
10:24We also have our own SOC, our computing power.
10:28All those capabilities from end to end are integrated crossing areas in a full stack.
10:38We are confident the integration of hardware and software will transform the way we travel.
10:45We'll transform the future of mobility.
10:49In China, Xpand is actually the leader in autonomous driving among car makers in China.
10:57Our P7 can actually realize selfless drive from production line to the shipping area,
11:10thanks to our on-site VLA and VLM large models.
11:15I'm confident that the future of vehicles will be changed completely.
11:21Now we are moving from level one to level two in terms of driving a system.
11:26The future is actually L4 with a driver and another one is L5 without the drivers.
11:36I'm very confident this future will become a reality.
11:40So our goal is 2026.
11:43We will launch our L4-level autonomous driving mass-produced vehicle in 2026.
11:51In addition, we will start robot taxi trial operations in China.
11:56This is not only a leaping technology, it's also a transformation of mobility.
12:02We hope that our advanced capabilities can go beyond China.
12:07It's global.
12:08Our anticipation that later half of next year we can have the NGP, which is the robot taxi China technology,
12:21to the global market so that global users can benefit from the most advanced and locally optimized intelligent driving experience.
12:30In the past 10 years, our products in Europe first expand G9, the best-selling mid-to-high-end mid-to-large BV SUV in Europe.
12:45The number one among Chinese cars, G6 is also a best-seller.
12:51And the brand-new P7 Plus will be the first AI-defying car to come to Europe.
12:58We have brought with us P7.
13:03This is the debut of our product.
13:09And the new P7 is the pinnacle of expanse craftsmanship.
13:15A bold statement of our vision for the next generation of smart cars in design performance intelligence experience.
13:21Its design is very original, futuristic.
13:25We have our European colleagues and Chinese colleagues working together.
13:31They are young.
13:33They are enthusiastic.
13:35And designers, they have contributed to the design.
13:40You can see we use the lights to present the scene.
13:49So it's not only beautiful but it's also very powerful.
13:54It accelerates from 0 to 100 kilograms per hour in 3.7 seconds.
14:00I reach the top seat of 230 kilometers per hour with 593 horsepower.
14:06And in the recent 24-hour endurance challenge, it is number one.
14:11And its driving range can cover 650 wide kilometers.
14:20So we just had this endurance challenge, 24 hours.
14:25You need the best charging and the best speed.
14:30So in that 24-hour challenge, the new P7 sets a global record for mass-produced EVs covering 3,961 kilometers.
14:43So it has fast charging, longest driving range, and also its acceleration is strong.
14:52In addition, it has strong AI computing power.
14:56This is the first time that we have an effective computing power of 2,250 tops.
15:05Our computing power is 20 times of parallel players, which paves the way for limited intelligent evolution in the future.
15:13We have not only focused on AI and robotics.
15:20We have the phase in the transformation of the transportation industry.
15:25We know that cars were born in Germany.
15:28And airplanes were also born 100 years ago.
15:34But today, Volkswagen can sell more than 10 million cars annually.
15:39But no company can sell more than 1,000 airplanes a year.
15:44It's because of price and also other reasons.
15:49We are very innovative because we want to organically combine cars and aircrafts so that we can usher in the Euro flying vehicles.
16:02We hope that flying vehicles can be introduced to Europe as well.
16:07In the coming 20 years, flying cars would reach 20 percent of that of cars.
16:17We have been dedicated to development flying cars as we have invested more than 6 billion U.S. dollars.
16:26This is our sixth generation flying vehicle.
16:31It's not a car yet, but our seventh generation combines cars with the aircraft.
16:40It's easy to use, which means that you can land the aircraft in your own garage,
16:47and it can take off very safely and easily in the neighborhood.
16:53And our first flying car would see its new chapter being opened as it will mark its first overseas debut flight in Dubai in October.
17:06I hope that it can also have its debut in Germany and other European market.
17:12This is an innovative product, the flying car.
17:18We are not sure about the recognition or acceptance of our customers yet, but I'm happy to share with you we have received more than 6,000 pre-orders for this flying car.
17:31We hope official delivery will start in the second half of 2026.
17:38The factory is under construction and in October we will start small-scale production.
17:45In addition to flying cars, I would like to say a few about the robots.
17:50In the past eight years, we have studied more than eight generations of robots.
17:55We believe that robots will play an important role in the future of transportation.
18:00Unlike EVs and flying cars, the challenge of R&D is much bigger compared with the flying cars and EVs.
18:15It's beyond my imagination because you need completely new software and hardware.
18:21It's super integration.
18:23The robots may have 80 parts.
18:26Any part fail means the robots cannot work.
18:31But cars are different in terms of requirements on the software, hardware and integration software and hardware.
18:41It's very stringent.
18:43We hope that in 2026 we can have a robot taxi like mass-producing robots.
18:53It can speak to you in Germany.
18:55It can move and make gestures.
18:58The first-generation robots may not be that smart, but in the next decade the year of robots will come.
19:08Robbers will be a part of our everyday life and industry and business life.
19:16It's coming soon.
19:18It's imminent.
19:20Thanks to our all-stack and self-developed R&D, we have made tremendous progress in the past 11 years.
19:29We hope that we can make more investments on R&D in Europe.
19:35We hope we can have more plans and manufacturing in Europe and we hope we can have more partners in Europe to work together.
19:42We look forward to bringing better products to the users in Europe, only in Europe and with Europe so that we can have a win-win situation.
19:52And we believe that only through innovation can we create a better tomorrow.
19:57Thank you again for coming to our event at IAA Mobility.
20:02We invite our ex-pem car owners to the stage for a group photo.
20:07Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes the ex-pem press conference at IAA.
