00:07According to the nation's Minister of Foreign Trade, Kerry Simons, the operations undermined the region's status as a zone of peace
00:17and urged U.S. President Donald Trump to consult with the region before taking any actions to combat the alleged drug trafficking.
00:24The top diplomat alleged that assured and demanded the U.S. government to provide security guarantees in the Caribbean Sea.
00:44And the Venezuelan National Armed Forces have deployed 14,000 troops in the west of the country to combat drug trafficking
00:53as part of the so-called Catatumbo 2025 Lightning Plan.
00:57The Venezuelan Defense Forces are maintaining a continuous operation to dismantle and neutralize any irregularities that may arise on the border with Colombia.
01:06And as part of the security efforts, the authorities have increased the number of personnel to guard the keys that connect to the Caribbean Sea.
01:15To date, a total of 56 kilos of drugs have been seized through state actions to ensure a country free of drug trafficking.
