00:24Hamilton going four hundredths quicker and a yellow flag.

00:28And it is the Aston Martin of Lance Stroll. Karun mentioned he had a big crash in FP2 and he's gone into the barriers.

00:35I think once again he's ruined that set of tyres. That is for certain.

00:40So he's coming out of turn 12, the slow speed left-hand corner here up to 13.

00:43This is a quick right-hander, touch the grass on the left and that sent him into the barrier.

00:49Pretty hefty impact, obviously damage the front wing but the front suspension.

00:55Watch there. He's just driven onto the grass. His line of sight at that point is he's looking right.

01:03He's looking at the apex. It's not in his eyeline but that's where the drivers will be using their judgment.

01:15So that is a, that's a first. Yeah. Yeah, and that would have compromised what happens around through 13.

01:21You can see he, he turned in from a shallower angle into the corner.

02:07Piastri tenth and a half behind Norris clear of the Red Bull and behind his teammate.

02:59And the reason being, he's gone over the raggedy edge of the kerb on the exit of turn three.

03:05Yeah. And that's not going to do the floor any good whatsoever.

03:08Why did Lewis Hamilton bail out? He got onto the gravel slightly into turn 11.

03:12And that might have been of a consequence.

03:14But for Hamilton and Leclerc to be using up extra sets of soft tyres at this stage,

03:20even if they do get through, that's really compromising them.

03:23So this lap should put Alex Albon round about 5th or 6th place, you would imagine.

03:29Crosses the line to go 5th ahead of Kimi Antonelli.

03:32That's Esteban Occoncrofty. 16th. Doesn't make it in.

03:35Hasn't quite made it. It's ahead of his teammate, but not out of the bottom 5th.

03:39Colopinto goes 15th. Puts pressure now on Nico Hülkenberg and Yuki Tsunoda,

03:45who is next to cross the line in the Red Bull. Goes 12th fast. It should be okay.

03:49Pushes Hadja down. Pushes Sainz down.

03:51Bortoleto and Colopinto back into that bottom 5.

04:57and they just want to do a check to make sure it's gone in the right direction.

05:06Verstappen's last pole, of course, was Silverstone.

05:09So if you are getting those Silverstone vibes,

05:11how about a 1.09-1 for you?

05:13That is half a second up on his best time from Q1.

05:18A tenth and a half left on the table.

05:23and giving him a 1.08.874.

05:27And that, I make, to be the best lap of all time here at Zanzo.

05:33What can Oscar Piastri respond with?

05:36He can go second fastest.

05:40This is what we're used to seeing between the two McLaren drivers.

05:44Barely anything to choose between them.

05:46Leclerc next to cross the line, goes fourth quickest on the new tyres.

05:50It's the sort of thing Lewis Hamilton's made a habit of in his career in Formula 1.

05:54And he goes fourth fastest now behind his teammate Charles Leclerc.

05:57And that is a much more impressive showing from the two Ferrari.

06:00I think it was on a used set, according to the information we've got in the country box.

06:06And this is Max Verstappen encountering a slower-moving car through Turn 7 on the outside.

06:12And that was Lando Norris.

07:24Youngest driver replaced in the top ten by the oldest driver.

07:27And Yuki Tsunoda replaced by the man whose seat he took after two races this season.

07:32Piastri up to the line.

07:34And that puts him at a 1.08.662.

07:37Immediately beats the lap record you mentioned.

07:40However, Crofty, here comes Lando Norris.

07:42And he hasn't been on pole, Oscar Piastri, since Spain.

07:46Lando Norris was on pole last time out.

07:48And Lando Norris is going to have to go again.

07:51The car moved around a bit on the turn in to turn 13.

07:54He goes fourth fastest behind George Russell by three tenths of a second.

08:00But Leclerc on a used set of tyres.

08:02Yes, one they did an out lap on Karun.

08:04Not a whole flying lap.

08:06So used, yes, but still with a bit of performance life in it as Hamilton goes above Leclerc.

08:11Max Verstappen's targeting a little better than that.

08:14Is this going to be third on the grid as he crosses the line?

08:17Goes ahead of George Russell.

08:19It's Piastri, Norris, Verstappen.

08:21That's a big statement from Piastri to recover that.

08:24It only came in the first sector.

08:26All through the weekend we've been saying he's a tenth down in sector one.

08:29He's a tenth down in sector one.

08:30That's the first time Piastri has been a little bit quicker than Norris in sector one.

08:36And that for me, as we saw a snap of Ozier from Lawson, that for me is a massive psychological gain for Piastri.

08:44He's got five hundredths of a second in hand to take that pole position.

08:48But what's going to happen in the final sector?

08:51Lando Norris crosses the line.

08:52It's front row only for Lando Norris.

08:55And he's missed out by a mere 88 milliseconds.

08:59Oscar Piastri powers his way to the line.

09:02It's Papaya on pole.

09:04And it is Piastri for the Dutch Grand Prix.

09:06And he's on pole for the first time since Spain back in June.

09:11LeClaire, who was our pole sitter in Budapest, is now powering to the line.

09:15And it's only fifth on the grid for him.

09:17Lewis Hamilton has had the advantage in major key moments during the session so far.

09:23Over his teammate Hamilton now racing towards the line.

09:26Where can he put his Ferrari?

09:28And this time around, LeClaire has the advantage over Hamilton.

09:32George Russell then currently sat on the second row.

09:35And that's exactly where he stays.

09:37Now Verstappen has put in the best middle sector we've seen so far.

09:41But surely even he, for all his brilliance and 44 career poles before,

09:46can't challenge Norris and Piastri here.
