00:00But let's talk about that number.
00:01Let's talk about a six and a half in some spots,
00:04a seven in others.
00:05It's a moving number as we anticipate it being.
00:09I'm curious what you think, if anything, of the spot,
00:12of being the Super Bowl champion on that Thursday night
00:16in your building, banner drops, ring ceremony,
00:20the whole ordeal.
00:21Do you bake that in positively or negatively
00:24at all going into a game?
00:26I do.
00:27I bake it in to the fact that I expect Philadelphia
00:30to come out hitting on all cylinders.
00:32I think they're playing with a little bit of a chip
00:34on their shoulder.
00:35I think it's a little bit different, if you're asking me,
00:37when we look at the Kansas City Chiefs,
00:39where they won a Super Bowl and all of a sudden,
00:42the following year, they walk through the motions.
00:45I don't see that being the case for Jalen Hurts
00:47and Saquon Barkley and that offense led by A.J. Brown as well.
00:51They're a physical offensive line,
00:52and they have young players on the defensive side of the ball.
00:55That's why I give them the best shot
00:57to win the NFC Championship.
00:59Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Cooper Dejean,
01:02and Mitchell in the background in the secondary.
01:04I mean, they are legit.
01:06And you have Nick Sirianni that is an underrated head coach
01:09for winning the Super Bowl
01:10and bringing his team to where they were last year.
01:13I think they're going to come out hitting on all cylinders,
01:16and I do believe they should be at least a seven-point favorite
01:19over a team in Dallas that has multiple questions to answer.
01:23Well, that is certainly true of Dallas.
01:27I think as far as the spot goes, Joe,
01:29it's one where you know that one side of the ball
01:33is going to be as hyped as possible
01:35because you have the Super Bowl defending champion, right?
01:39For two years in a row, it was Kansas City.
01:40Of course, now in this spot, it's the Philadelphia Eagles.
01:43So a lot of the handicap will probably be about
01:46actually how you see the opponent.
01:48Is that opponent frisky?
01:49Are they overmatched?
01:50And you expect really big games, so we get a big game.
01:55But we get Dallas in such a different time
01:58during, I think, what is the Dak Prescott tenure.
02:02Typically, the idea, if Dak is healthy,
02:05is the Dallas Cowboys are going to be a contender
02:08to at least win a division, make the playoffs,
02:11and then it'll vary how much someone believes in
02:13can they go deep or are they actually overvalued?
02:17This Dallas team is a little different.
02:20The defense gets no respect, and rightfully so.
02:25If Micah Parsons is not out there for the opening game,
02:28it's maybe the worst in football.
02:31And offensively, you don't get a head coach bump
02:34because Mike McCarthy, who I thought they should move on from,
02:38I think you felt the same.
02:40Dallas wanted to bring back, couldn't find out a deal,
02:43so they promoted as offensive coordinator in Brian Schottenheimer.
02:47So you don't get a big bum from an exciting hire.
02:50Just, I know he wasn't available, hypothetically,
02:51if they would have brought in a Jim Harbaugh, right?
02:53If the timelines worked a little bit better.
02:56Because, you know, if something like that
02:58were to be the case here for this football team,
02:59that's not how it played out.
03:01And you have an offense that, even with Dak,
03:05I feel last year, Joe, disappointed a lot of people.
03:10And that's how you get to a number like this.
