00:00Okay, Elam, I wanted you to talk about this Rams-Eagles preview.
00:04I know we just talked about the Browns and the Steelers,
00:06but this is a big game here for both teams.
00:09We kind of hit on it yesterday in our Week 4 predictions,
00:12but this is a big game.
00:13Pukunuku is back for the Rams.
00:16Devontae Smith looks like he's not going to be able to go.
00:18I think Baum has a concussion.
00:20He will probably not be able to go.
00:21So a big advantage for this Rams team against the Eagles in Philadelphia.
00:25And it's supposed to rain.
00:27And it's supposed to rain.
00:28Not great for either team.
00:29But what do you got on this game?
00:31What are you seeing?
00:32You know what?
00:32I think when you look at the trenches, right,
00:36I think games are won or lost there.
00:39The Philadelphia Eagles have a historically abysmal pass rush.
00:44It's like on 8% of dropbacks, are they able to generate pressure?
00:50That is a historic low all time.
00:54And so this game right here, I think,
00:58I think has the makings of a blowout, of a potential blowout.
01:02Because if Vaughn isn't playing, Cooper Dejean,
01:05I don't know why the Eagles stopped moving him.
01:08The safety was a good idea.
01:09But the defense, the Philadelphia defense looks completely disjointed.
01:13Then when you couple that with the return of Puka Nakua, who I know is highly motivated,
01:19Devontae Adams, who, again, continues to hop in the hot tub time machine,
01:24he looks like the Devontae Adams of, you know, five years ago.
01:29So this game, I think, has the makeup of a blowout.
01:34I know Sean McVay wants to make an emphasis on running the ball.
01:38They didn't run the ball at all in the third quarter.
01:41And that's when things started to, you know, turn in that game.
01:46And so I think when you look at the Eagles' inability to rush the passer,
01:52Matthew Stafford is going to have time.
01:54When you look at the vertical replacement that the Rams' offensive line gets
02:00with no bond in the middle, things are going to be open for Blake Quorum
02:04and Kyron Williams.
02:05So I think this game, legit, will be a blowout.

02:13Or do you think it's because the Rams played in the snow over there
02:15a couple seasons ago in the playoffs, and it didn't really seem to affect them?
02:20I mean, I think this game, you could play it in zero, you know, gravity,
02:26and the Rams would still find a way to get guys open.
02:30I don't think the weather is going to be much of an issue for Matthew Stafford.
02:35For the Eagles, that remains to be seen.

02:42Do you think that the Rams need to put on a good performance in this game
02:46for them to kind of reassure themselves that they can do this against better teams,
02:52that they can in big spots come up big like everyone expected them to
02:58to start the season?
02:59I think if you're looking at any unit needing to come up big,
03:04it's the special teams.
03:06And I don't think they have the requisite parts and pieces
03:09in order for them to transform that.
03:12They really don't have a lot of team speed.
03:14They have a lot of good guys on the roster,
03:17but they don't have a lot of guys with a lot of speed.
03:19And so I don't necessarily know how that gets changed in a week.
03:27But I do think that, you know, we could just look at last week
03:31when the Rams needed a score.
03:34Matthew Stafford hit the out and up to Kanata Munfield,
03:37who beat Riley Ross.
03:38So scoring is not going to be an issue.
03:42It's really just execution.
03:44Sean McVay is going to put the onus on himself and, you know,
03:48accept responsibility and say like, hey, I have to call a better game.
03:52But literally in these two losses, the games have come down to execution.
03:57One, you can kind of say, hey, they just got off a plane in Australia.
04:02They weren't necessarily physically ready.
04:06This Broncos game, that was a game they had in hand
04:09in a game that they should have won.
04:11They just kind of let their foot off the proverbial gas.
04:14I don't expect or anticipate that being the issue coming Sunday.
