00:00I'm not going to jump to conclusions here with North Carolina after what I saw last night, Bill, because it's college football.
00:06When a new coach takes over, it's generally a work in progress.
00:10But that's about as bad as an opener as you can get, honestly.
00:13I mean, North Carolina didn't look like they belonged on the same field as TCU when they were at home.
00:21And, you know, like, I mean, their quarterback didn't play well.
00:24I understand that.
00:26But their defense was brutal.
00:28They were giving up so many plays, long plays right out of the gate in the second quarter and then the third quarter, too.
00:36Man, I mean, I don't want to overreact and think this is a one and done with Bill Belichick.
00:40I'm not going to do that just yet.
00:41But the early returns for me were as ugly as it could possibly get.
00:45I didn't think it would be that ugly that TCU would average 7.7 yards per carry,
00:51that it would take a quarter and a half for Gio Lopez to complete his third pass of the game.
00:56I thought one misread by Belichick was maybe Max Johnson could be the starter that kind of calms that offense down a little bit.
01:03But it was brutal with the turnovers and the penalties and the missed tackles and not what we're used to accustomed to seeing Bill Belichick do in the NFL for all those years.
01:13But they do have 70 transfers and they do have a couple games next week against Charlotte, the week after against Richmond.
01:20I guess, Craig, if they lose to Charlotte, then we'll have a really big headline.
01:25I don't think that's going to happen, but we'll see where this team is before they're under the lights again when they play Clemson in a couple weeks.
01:31I don't think that's going to happen, but we'll see where they're under the lights again when they play Clemson in a couple weeks.
