00:00Yeah, no, Naomi played well.
00:05Today was, like, disappointing because I felt it was, like, the best.
00:08I served all tournament, a lot of aces.
00:11Yeah, there were some doubles, but I thought, like, that was a good performance for me serving.
00:16And off the ground, I think I just made way too many mistakes, way too many errors,
00:20which I feel like that's the part of my game that I felt the most confident in coming into the tournament.
00:26So it was kind of a weird match, like, feeling confident in different areas swapping.
00:34Yeah, I mean, it's disappointing for sure.
00:37It was not the level that I wanted to bring, but it is a step in the right direction, I feel.
00:42And I think emotionally how much this week was, I think today I just stepped in and I maybe was a little bit empty,
00:51but she forced me to earn every point out there today.
00:56I think that trying to be more positive.
01:00I mean, after the match, I was really disappointed, kind of broke down to my team.
01:05And then hearing their perspectives and everything, it definitely is a lot of positive things.
01:09If I think if I kept the way I was going in Cincinnati to here, I would have been out the first round.
01:15And so I think that where my serve started from the start of the tournament to today was a big improvement.
01:23And I feel like now I just have to get everything to work together.
01:29But yeah, I knew going in it was going to be a tough tournament for me.
01:33And did I feel like I had a lot of confidence after my last match?
01:37Yeah, definitely.
01:38I think that was a big confidence booster.
01:39So today feels more disappointing, I think, than maybe I would have felt losing in the first or second round.
01:47I mean, obviously I won Roland Garros and it's like, yeah, great result and things like that.
01:52But I knew where I was in my game and I knew that I needed to make an improvement.
01:58And for me, like we tried something after Roland Garros and it didn't really work.
02:06And I don't think I fully believed in that plan.
02:09And, you know, opportunity became to work with Gavin on this.
02:13And like I felt like JC and I have been doing incredible work.
02:17And that's why I and also Matt, that's why I won Roland Garros.
02:21But obviously the serve was not where it needed to be in that tournament.
02:25So, yeah, I think for me, I just knew I needed to make an improvement and I was trying things with it.
02:30And I feel like this is actually the right step forward in Cincinnati.
02:34And I just don't think I had enough time to make that adjustment.
