The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange has a new security, as A.S Brydens now has a dual listing on it.

For A.S Brydens, the achievement is much more than a financial undertaking.

00:00In 2023, A.S. Bryden's and Suns Holdings Limited listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange
00:06and now it has achieved what Chief Executive Officer of the T&T Stock Exchange, Eva Mitchell, calls a historic milestone.
00:15A.S. Bryden now takes another important step by listing on the Tran Tobago Stock Exchange.
00:21The company's listing today comprises approximately 1.5 billion ordinary shares on the first-tier market
00:30with 30 million Class A preference shares listed on our U.S. dollar equity market.
00:41The T&T Stock Exchange highlights that a company has listed by introduction,
00:46meaning it has listed its existing shares without raising new capital or offering new shares.
00:54This also allows around 800 present shareholders to trade their shares.

01:02the listing underscores the company's commitment to corporate governance and transparency.
01:08For over 100 years, A.S. Bryden's operated as a private enterprise.

01:38Although the listing is by introduction, Cornier says, it will create access to capital
01:44and propel the company's plans for further expansion in this country and externally.

01:56and our commitment to the economic development of Trinidad and Tobago
