Almost one in 10 London buses have been hit by strike action as drivers protest over pay.Up to 58 routes, concentrated in west, south-west and north-west London, were targeted by members of the Unite union.Transport for London said the action, involving an estimated 2,000 drivers, was likely to mean little or no service on the routes throughout Friday and again on Monday, and advised passengers to check before setting off.We asked Londoners if the drivers are getting more reckless.

00:00I feel like on the buses, they start going really, really fast and you can't go upstairs on the double-deckers, so I get whacked around.
00:08With their driving, I can understand their pressure they're under.
00:11If you need to go for a number one or a number two, what do you do?
00:15You're under pressure. You need to get to a destination to go to toilet.
00:19They should have toilet facilities set up for bus drivers at every turning point.
00:23I think they do quite a good job considering the size of the bus and the fact that London roads are super small.
00:30Personally, I can't even imagine driving a car around London.
00:32I feel like they're really reckless and they don't really care about people falling down inside the bus.
00:37As far as I've had an experience, I don't think I've ever felt unsafe or dangerous or thought it's too fast or anything ever.
00:43The one criticism I might have is that when you get on the bus, I like to sit at the top, especially if it's a long journey.
00:49They take off, so when you're on the stairs, you sometimes lose balance and fall over.
00:54Being an ex-bus driver, people should have a bit more manners and respect for bus drivers,
01:00because when the bus stops, London stops, the county stops.
01:04Big up the bus driver then, with no respect, yeah?
