‘I wouldn’t feel safe’: Londoners on driverless taxis

We ask Londoners how they feel about driverless taxis in London.

00:11clever enough to do that now because you've been to like driverless Tesla's

00:16for like yeah autopilot for like a while yeah we actually ridden one in San

00:21Francisco yeah we we were coming back from a bar and we took one back to the

00:27apartment we're staying at and it felt pretty safe it was actually cheaper than

00:31like uber like a regular uber was I guess cuz they don't have to pay anyone

00:34and it was cool it was it was kind of crazy because it's like it just drives

00:37for you it talks to you you can like still like pick your music on like a

00:40little screen and everything the only thing I did see like a tick-tock recently

00:44where someone was in it and then like people were like vandalizing the car

00:47while they were in the car while the car was stopped but then the car just I kept

00:50going and it was fine that would be like the only concern cuz it's like the car

00:54doesn't know to like leave or anything but it was cool I don't know if I would

01:00get in it because it's a little bit I don't know if I would feel safe

01:04particularly in it I don't know if you know the paradox when a self-driving car

01:10and there's I don't know two people and it's about a crash who drive who does it

01:15kill or does it drive into and it's very complicated how the car would react on

01:23certain things if it were react fast enough then you don't have to make small

01:26talk with your driver it's not a common people are like yes I don't have to chat

01:31I have a lot of friends that live in San Francisco that have been in them so I

01:35think knowing that someone else has done it I'm like sure and I don't know how a

01:40self-driving car would really react because it's very spontaneous the human

01:44can react spontaneous on some things but the AI car or the self-driving car would

01:50have to make those decisions according to the programming and I don't know if I

01:54would trust that much
