00:00Two immigration department raids led to the arrest of 101 people.
00:07The first raid that was conducted on Tuesday in Shah Alam targeted a recycling plant suspected
00:12of hiring undocumented migrants.
00:16Immigration personnel detained 36 Bangladeshi nationals aged between 35 and 50.
00:21A Bangladeshi man with a Malaysia My Second Home Pass was inspected for suspicious behaviour.
00:27All of the detainees have been sent to the Lengging Immigration Depot.
00:31A second raid in Puchong that was conducted later that night at a three-storey entertainment
00:36outlet led to the arrest of 65 people, including 45 foreign women.
00:42The department said the outlet was said to have operated daily from 7pm to 3am and have
00:48hired the foreign women to accompany clients.
00:51They said the women were reportedly paid up to RM300 for the first three hours and many
00:57were found with clients during the raid.
00:59They said a local woman believed to be their caretaker was also arrested, with all the detainees
01:05sent to the KLIA Immigration Depot.
