00:09Kim three times during his first term. President Lee says Trump is the only

00:14person who can end the 70-year impasse on the Korean Peninsula. While the Korean

00:19War of the 1950s ended in a truce, a peace treaty did not follow.

00:24Well, I have very good relationships with Kim Jong-un, North Korea. I mean, a lot of

00:30people would say, oh, that's terrible. No, it's good. In fact, someday I'll see him. I look forward

00:35to seeing him. He was very good with me. We had two meetings. We had two summits. We got along

00:39great. I know him better than you do. I know him better than anybody, almost, other than his sister.

00:45His sister knows him pretty well. Now, I know him well, and I got along with him. You know, I'm not

00:50supposed to say I really like him a lot because if I do that, I get killed in the fake news media.

00:56But I got along with him very well, and we had no problem. Kim has been strengthening ties with

00:59Russia, sending troops to support the war in Ukraine. North Korea has also rejected nuclear

01:05talks and is accelerating its weapons program. Meanwhile, Kim condemned recent U.S.-South Korea

01:10drills and oversold new air defense tests.
