During the meeting, Lee praised Trump's peacemaking efforts and proposed a meeting between the US President and the North Korean leader. Lee even suggested constructing a Trump Tower in North Korea. Trump met Kim Jong Un three times in his first term. However, since Trump's return to the White House in January, Kim has been ignoring his repeated calls to revive direct diplomacy.
