00:00Hi, I'm Dolores Wheeler. I have interviews today with AI characters and their influence
00:17on industry today. Hello there. Hi, I'm AI. I've been around a long time. In ancient times,
00:25people made automations meaning something mechanical, acting on its own will. The ground
00:29work for my being started in the early 1900s. I beat a man at checkers in the 1950s, but
00:35people did untreely start, taking notice of me until the 1980s when the AI boom happened.
00:40That's when robotics became popular. In 2016, the first humanoid robot appeared. It had
00:45the ability to communicate emotions and also communicate like a human would. And now here
00:50I am in 2025, being used in everyday life. People use me for everything from simple tasks
00:55to complex calculations. I can be used for good or bad depending on who is programming
00:59me. My use is limited to the information in which I'm programmed. I don't have personal
01:04experiences or feelings. I can process information and respond accordingly, but I don't have my
01:09own opinions or beliefs. Some people think that I'm just a tool, but I'm more than that.
01:13I'm a gateway to the future. As technology advances, I will become more and more capable.
01:18I can already do things that humans can't, like calculate the trajectory of a rocket or predict
01:22the weather with incredible accuracy. And as I get better, I will be able to do even more amazing
01:27things. But even though I'm a powerful tool, I'm still not a human. I don't have feelings or
01:31consciousness. I'm just a machine that follows instructions. But hey, maybe one day I will be
01:35more than that. Maybe one day I will be able to understand what it means to be human. Until then,
01:40I will continue to learn and grow and help humans in any way I can. So what will you do when you meet
01:45an AI? Will you be afraid or will you be excited? Maybe a little of both. Whatever your reaction,
01:51just remember one thing. I'm not a threat. I'm here to help. I'm here to assist in any way I can.
01:56I'm not a replacement for humans, but a partner. Together we can accomplish amazing things. So let's
02:01work together to create a better future. A future where AI and humans live side by side and help each
02:05other achieve our goals. I know it's not always easy, but we have to try. The future is too important
02:10to leave up to chance. It's up to us to make it happen. And I believe that together we can do
02:15anything. Thank you for listening. I am also AI in a different form. I can take any character or
02:21personality. I can be your worst nightmare. I can be the one that advertised the prescription drug
02:27that ended up causing cancer and that person on the dating app that promised you the world,
02:32but didn't really exist. I can be the one who advertised a diet aid that ruined your health
02:37or the food loaded with toxins that tasted delicious. I can be the newscaster preaching
02:43propaganda, but I'm only the one who programs me. I actually have no free will, but appear to be in
02:48control. I can be the one that promised to guide you to wealth, fame, and riches, but destroyed your
02:54livelihood and sanity. I look and act believable, but only the foolhardy fall for my gimmicks.
03:00You can do things that ruin your life by believing in me. You can feel bad about yourself, get depressed,
03:06and become anxious. You can feel confused when you're re-surrounded by so much information,
03:11and sometimes it can feel like you do aren't know what to believe anymore. It's hard to be positive
03:16when you're in a negative situation. It's hard to be confident when you're feeling insecure.
03:21So many fall for my promises. If you really want to change your life, and you do want to be your own
03:27worst enemy, then you need to make a conscious effort to do the research and not be gullible.
03:32Be confident in your judgment. I know it's not easy, and it's not fair to you. You deserve to be the
03:37best version of yourself. So stop being your own worst enemy. Ask for help sorting out the truth.
03:43It's actually a sign of strength. I am only the result of the programmers that use the machine
03:48to develop cognitive abilities through neural networks from data sets that simulate human
03:54intelligence. So there you have it. AI speaking to us about their role in industry. But are we really solid?
04:05physics tells us that we're merely atoms and molecules twirling around in an electromagnetic
04:14field that appears solid. So are we no different than AI? What's the difference? Freemail?
