00:00begin with uh alex cora who spoke last night after the red sox lost to the new york yankees they did

00:04take three out of four in the series though and so alex cora talked about the uh the loss last

00:10night and uh looking ahead i think fastball command was off uh you know he didn't get the

00:15fastball where he wanted to and obviously that's what they do right they they hit the ball out of

00:20the ballpark and that's what they did to be able to leave here though series win gotta be pretty

00:25satisfying for the crew yeah three or four that's the business we're in and now we're gonna turn

00:29the page and uh go to baltimore they played well against us last week uh we got four that's always

00:34tough so just be ready from pitch one tomorrow oh we were going to be happy with a split going into it

00:39so i mean um base up they certainly have the when it comes to the yankees they they have the solution

00:47when it comes to beating them this season no that was a phenomenal weekend and crochet again i mean

00:52what an acquisition just dominant on saturday phenomenal performance by him too yeah this team

00:57is is you know i think the expectations are playoffs but and greg you brought it up at the

01:03beginning of the show can they catch toronto and you know we'll probably figure that out once

01:09they and i think it's at the end of september when they play toronto but you're five games behind them

01:14now so you're gonna have to continue to play well and hope that they hit a little skid um to if you

01:19want to catch them before you play them but you're lined up schedule wise um and to to to do really well

01:26here the rest of the season yeah they had their gauntlet was about two weeks ago it felt like for

01:31a month it was either the dodgers or it was the mets or it was just like good team after good team

01:36after good team and right now you take three out of four against the yankees on the road now you get

01:40four in baltimore and you should take three out of four there yeah and i think that's the biggest

01:44thing when you start to look at this team moving forward is you know what their schedule looks like

01:50and they should be able to be in a position when they do get to that to that toronto series at the end

01:55of september that if you win that series there's a chance that you could ultimately be able to win

02:00the division and that that's the goal that they set for themselves probably at the beginning of the

02:04season you feeling more confident about baio than you were yeah a couple weeks ago yeah i mean he

02:10had another really good outing i think you know when you look at baio and giolito that it looks like

02:16they've been pretty consistent you know they have like one clunker here but they're able to bounce

02:21back i curtis talked about crochet and i mean he's an absolute you know hog um that's what we call

02:28him right right hog man and pedro actually goes by baby baio now so yeah yeah no but they

02:35and curtis will tell you better than anybody he's the baseball guy if you can have three

02:41legitimate starters and chapman and chapman in the postseason look out yeah you you'll be good you'll

02:48you'll be good and then yeah that's what you need and and uh playoff baseball will we have our own

02:52duck boat or will we be scattered great question
